Exactly.

The claim by Nafiu Bala Gombe that his resignation was fraudulently procured is a principal issue.

The claim that David Mar's leadership was illegal is a legal issue.

Dear Atiku, I have repeatedly advised you to avoid certain people. They are still misleading you. Instead of allowing a long-drawn battle, call a peace meeting with Ali Gombe and settle the dispute. Promise to return him as deputy national chairman or even chairman. Convert him to your side. There was no need to foist David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola as ADC leaders. They have zero experience in managing political parties. It is too glaring. Recall how Buhari removed Adams Oshiomole and got all party members to remove all cases in court. A year before major elections, a year where party candidates are being chosen, less than three months to choosing candidates, you cannot be dealing with several court cases.

ATIKU, BRING EVERYONE TO A ROUND TABLE AND DEAL WITH THIS MATTER AND PREPARE TO COMPETE IN 2027! There is no garantee that court cases would end in your favour. If ADC falls apart, everyone would know that you failed to solve the problem.

While it is convenient to blame external factors, what exactly are you doing to do your own house cleaning?
Even if the case later end in his favour and they went on with the convention before the conclusion of the case it'll still bite back on them because any leadership produced in this April convention will be in disobedience of court order. The best thing is out-of-court peacemaking.

The legal processes aside, the root of this problem is a deputy chairman who was part of negotiation for former ADC leadership to step down for an interim leadership has all of a sudden changed like chameleon.

Who conspired to motivate the former deputy chairman to make an unnecessary U-turn. It is people who are scared of strong opposition party.

The fact is that if former President Jonathan's government was scared like the current government, it would have instigated inside confusion in then fledgling APC through legal processes. But he didn't and former President Buhari had given Jonathan credit for this on several occasions.

Nigerian stability is bigger than the ambition of an individual.

Meanwhile, I expect ADC to start releasing minutes of build up meetings to the stepping down of former EXCO. They should source all vital videos and pictures that show the former deputy chairman as being part of that process.
The most important way forward are as follows;
1. Engage the rest aggrieved faction on dialogue to resolve and withdraw his case in the FHC and immediately go into a new convention to cement their leadership.
2. To postpone the convention and pursue a speedy conclusion of the case in FHC before moving on with the convention.
This is because whether the court later finds that Nafiu was actually part of the process that produced Mark-led leadership and duly resigned his position, the court will nullify anything coming from them in the name of disobeying court order to have conducted the convention.

Good
The essence of all these illegal actions by Inec and APC is to scare people away and prevent congress/convention of the ADC.
Inec should be reminded they don't determine party leadership they only have to supervise party activities
Their absence with due notification doesn't make the convention illegal!
What if INEC fails to show up as they stated during de-recognition of Mark's leadership? Hope you won't wish death to any judge that nullifies what ever that comes out from them?

It doesn't make INEC a Judge and Jury.

In 2007, INEC and its legal team made a decision like this following an Appeal Court Judgement. The Supreme Court sitting in a panel of 7 shut it down immediately. See Atiku Vs INEC.

Just recently, INEC also made a decision in Natasha Akpoti Vs INEC , when she ran for Governor under SDP, the Appeal Court also shut it down.

INEC totally misinterpreted and misrepresented the Appeal Court Judgement. Again, what was before the Appeal Court.

Nafiu complained that he is the Ag National Chairman.
At the time he filed the suit in Sept 4, INEC had not recognised David Mark.
Note this.
Yes, anyone can misinterpret judgement but do you think that the judgement gave a go-ahead order to Mark's leadership and how?

I like the fact that you Tinubu supporters will expose and embrass yourselves

1. Was it EL rufai & Amaechi that caused PDP crisis
2. Was it EL rufai, Amaechi & Atiku that caused Labour party crisis
3. Was it EL rufai, Amaechi & Atiku that caused NNPP crisis

Lets not forget, All this names Amaechi, atiku, Peter obi, Kwankwaso and Rufai are alway Experienced aspirant that have pass through Inec more than one time ... Suddenly they can get how to run a party again, and it is happening under Tinubu of Lagos 🤣

MY sista if it walks like a dog, bark like a dog and wiggle tail like a dog ...it is a DOG undecided
Those you mentioned have in one time or the other tried to cause crises in their former parties but were muscled out of the party because they don't have any legal backups. So don't pretend as if you don't know.

Even as a Father you might feel your children care about there mom and dont really send you sef cheesy thats family talk more of stranger come together

NO be say APC is perfect or are fully harmonize But they have one supreme leader that as capacity to " OSTRACIZE" judas on spot.
You can't harmonise everyone in your family but not in every family. But this happens to them in every party they find themselves. Something is wrong with their approach somewhere. Leadership of a group is an art and we have seen the difference between Buhari and Tinubu. Buhari's APC was engrossed with crises to the extent of losing all elected positions in Zamfara and failure to field candidates in Rivers and he was unable to resolve it despite being the president but we all saw how Tinubu handled the perceived crises to surfaced in APC without it go outside the house. That shows you how inability to harmonising a group is a defect and Atiku and co are the sufferers of it.

Every potential opposition party that can give Tinubu a run for his money ...All are going through the same Crisis, All of them have same cases in court and All of them have inconclusive court cases via stalling in common

ALL the formidable party that appeared 2023 to challenge Tinubu ... Not one is free of leadership crisis today ... PDP, LP, & NNPP only APC is standing that one shitty coincidence

What validated this theory, when spotlight shifted to SDP last year becos of EL rufai immediately leadership crisis rock that party but as soon as El rufai & obi left for ADC ...today SDP is perfect no more fight ..coincidence abi
That means there's something they're not getting right in their journey to a new party anytime. They should harmonise everyone in any place they find themselves. With that no one will drag the party with them.

what do you mean by hijacked, ADC was owned & registered duely by Raph Nwosu ... who is officially nd willing on sight with dem Atiku OBi in ADC ..
RALP NWosu was the last chairman recognised by inec before ..the entry of David mark and he was present at the coronation .. what do you mean hijack

The man is not hiding, neither as he played Denial or non recognition of David mark fraction in his own party.. Infact at the ADC press conference yesterday he spoke himself no duress

ADC has 6 deputy chairman from regions, RAPH attested they all resigned including Nafiu gombe with a Inec copy shared ... why have inec not refuted the oluwole document yet smiley

If you must use the word " Hijack" you must be able to proof Nafiu have more authentic ownership of ADC than RAPH Nwosu .. Why is Tinubu lord n supreme over APC ..equal right dey in your APC
First of all I'm not an APC member. Nafiu stated that his signature was forged to support the claim of his resignation. By right, when national chairman resigns deputy from his zone automatically becomes the chairman and that's his[Nafiu] claim. Let Atiku and co go and prove to the court that Nafiu resigned, then they'll have the party. If Atiku and his co-travellers have sense, they would've called those guys for negotiation and settlement but he thinks that everything is about power and money.

LP, NNPP have all being handcuffed ... Some stewpid said shebi we have over 20 registered parties

In 2023 of All the parties on the ballot paper Just FOUR carried presidential results, others are just endorsement group and benchwarmers, give dem money dey endorse you

Uncle they tried to open A D A, they disembarked, they must have seen sumtin
Are they the only party that have seen crises? I can remember APC crisis when Oshiomole was removed, Obaseki and other prominent members left. Did APC pointed fingers at opposition or anyone? You don't hijack an existing party with members still active in it and expect them to keep quiet. They didn't even care to call them for a roundtable settlement.

Good ! I will say nothing, cos they know NDC is going Nowhere

What they are targeting is some formidable names ... as long as those names move to into any party Tinubu will look for aggrevied member of that party, give dem crazy money just to start leadership crisis

When Rufai & Amaechi moved to SDP, suddenly that party had fraction crisis ...the moment they left, the crisis died a natural death.

ADC wont have had this crisis if Nwankwaso did not join them @least ... TINUBU understands the strength of coalition and he doesnt like living anything to luck or fate.

You mentioned NDC and DLA, they are fine now cos those party don't carry names that give APC nightmares... Koko is that " There is no reason to stop NDC or DLA, they are not a threat in anyway

Check numbers of new party inec registered this season compare to other years ... something is up
You move to a new party and hijacked it without a mutual agreement with the old members and you think they should fold their hands and watch you? Have you heard of where Atiku and co called the aggrieved faction for a settlement? Those guys are clueless and think that their money can do all things for them. Agreed that and have peace.

The path of registering a New party Is entirely up to INEC to decide, to accept or reject ... These is Tinubu dispensation you cant trust inec not to find some fault not to take a New party
It is just like jamb, they can fail you as many times as they want nd get away with it even in court.

BEfore El rufai & co. settled for ADC they tried to register ADA i think, but they saw thing that made dem disembark on that

We know All arms of govt is captured by Tinubu, at the judiciary meeting On your mandate we shall stand was the opening hymns, there is no seperation of power anymore so how do one trust INEC to register a new formidable party without adding a coma

Why did Wike gate crash the existing PDP party that made him from LGA chairman huh

2023: PDP and politics of healing Wike’s self-inflicted injury

Then, the race began in earnest for three years now, reaching a frenzy with the works of the two PDP committees on zoning. The first was the Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi committee on the zoning of the PDP party offices. The Ugwuanyi committee quickly told the world the committee’s assignment did not cover zoning the office of the president. Though this was true, the question is: why didn’t the Ugwuanyi committee zone the PDP chairmanship to the North without aligning it to the divide that would produce the PDP presidential flag-bearer? The second committee headed by Gov Samuel Ortom of Benue state was specifically on the zoning of the presidential ticket and, with the votes of the representatives of all the 17 Southern states without any exception, the Committee unanimously recommended throwing open the PDP presidential ticket, which the PDP NEC simply upheld.

One thing irrefutably stands out – Wike shot himself in the leg. Here was a man who had an overarching influence on both committees but could not insist that the ticket be zoned South. Many had wondered why? The reason is also relatively in plain sight: the Southeast factor. As the clamour for zoning of the presidential ticket of the PDP to South reached its crescendo, many had pointed out the fact that though the PDP Constitution had prescribed zoning of the office of the president to be between North and South since the South-west and South-south had taken their turns in producing the president and the vice in this current dispensation in the persons of Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, zoning this time around, should not just be to the South but the Southeast.

Atiku Abubakar went a step further by offering to step down from the race if it would be agreed that the touted zoning to the South would mean micro-zoning to the Southeast. Wike and the rest could not take the Atiku challenge maybe because Atiku would likely back Peter Obi, who was his vice-presidential running mate in 2019 and an ally. The prospects of Peter Obi picking the ticket if PDP zoned South was so real compelling Wike to go for an open contest, believing he could pick it up ahead of Atiku, Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed, given his large war chest.

Solowande:
Denying bail to a figure like Mallam El-Rufai would not be just a legal matter, it would quickly become a high-stakes political issue with ripple effects across party unity, regional dynamics, judicial credibility, and national stability.
El-Rufai is a prominent and influential Northern figure with strong networks across northern Nigeria. Denying him bail could
deepen factional divides within the Northern bloc. It'll trigger elite infighting, especially among northern political blocs. Which might lead to loss of cohesion ahead of 2027 general election or major policy negotiations.
El-Rufai has considerable influence in northern Nigeria. Denial of bail may provoke backlash from northern political elites and voters.
It could strain the APC’s regional support base, especially if perceived as targeting northern leadership unfairly.
Major opposition parties like the ADC, could capitalize on the situation by portraying the APC led govt as killer of opposition voices and authoritarian. Which may strengthening their narrative ahead of 2027
The North don't forget. They will surely respond at the appropriate time .
Rubbish angry
So he should be granted bail by the presidency not the court so that it'll help them secure more northern votes? Some of boast before that El-Rufai is untouchable but are now wailing.

Of course he has. Just as he promised to do when he and Makinde met with Tinubu at the presidential villa. He did that with the full support and cover of Tinubu while serving as a minister under his cabinet. No previous democratic government went all out to destroy all opposition parties like we are currently witnessing. It will be to Tinubu's own benefit that opposition parties survive because his government will have no legitimacy locally and internationally if he succeeds in his inordinate ambition to be on the only candidate on the ballot. But I guess he doesn't care. Only someone with an unblemished reputation would.
