Not sure this is the right thread - forum member pls provide guidance

Worth having a bash at admin review. Try and keep your argument strong but short - just a page long counter statement will do (no further evidence docs). just make references to the docs submitted earlier.

Issue to tackle - "Applicant was considered unsettled" due to 1) lack of ties and 2) financial circumstance. Number 1) you can easily get away with but 2) is a little tricky because ECO got it right somehow. I would concentrate more on 2) and play the human right card very well. God bless

Hi There helpfull nairalanders,
I require some urgent info, I intend requesting a administrative reveiew on behalf of an Inlaw, i feel some confidence after digesting the ECOs guidance on general visitors(http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=3&ved=0CD4QFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk%2Fsitecontent%2Fdocuments%2Fpolicyandlaw%2Fmodernised%2Fvisiting%2Fgeneral-visitor.pdf%3Fview%3DBinary&ei=Pvg2Uq6qBsfStQaS6oCwDw&usg=AFQjCNF2Wi7xgDHKTkwlMKcQk_eaBCuusQ&bvm=bv.52164340,d.Yms) that i may be able to highlight some points that need to be readressed.
The original Form was submitted at the Visa centre in IKEJA, can anybody out there please supply me the email address to which this reveiew is to be sent. on the refusal papers there is no address sugested for sending in a reveiew i guess because the reveiew is supposed to be for the points based system. Also can any body give me the adress for where the reveiew can be submitted by hand. The 28 day dealine is this wednesday so i really require this info A.S.A.P. The review form suggests that the form can be sent by email, fax, post or handed in. Thank you in advance

Thank you for the advice, i am still considering the review option and have taken note of the points you have outlined. I do require advice on how to go about asking for a review as i would rather write or email direct which i believe some legal representatives do according to some earlier posts on the subject matter of appeals, rather than doing it with an online form. Is there anyone out there who could give guidance on how to ask for a review direct rather than using the form procedure. My Regards and thanks to you

The role of the ECO in cases of general/tourist visas is to prove with reasonable doubt that the applicant has reason to return to their country of origin. That could be why they mentioned about owning property and having children, these are often strong reasons that will give the ECO confidence that the applicant will return home. The income from her job should have also directly corresponded to the amount earned each month stipulated on the application form, they generally question the authenticity of your application if this is not the case. Also if you are coming as a tourist it is the expectation of the visa office that the applicant, unless a dependant, is solely responsible for their upkeep. They will therefore take their incomes/savings in to account. I could be wrong but unless you were making an application for her to come in to this country as your dependant your finances would not have been considered as part of the application. In a nut shell, in order to respond to the points raised in the refusal you would have to re-submit documents and therefore an administrative review would not be appropriate. You could submit a new application but I would advise that you refer to entry requirements for a tourist visa and only consider this if she has the income to support herself and also has strong ties to Nigeria that you can prove
Thank you for your response it is much appreciated , The aunt is not a dependent and she is not catered for under the terminology of family visitor, hence she had to make a general visitor application, however she was not coming as a tourist , so i am a bit confused as to why her income is to be taken into consideration if we in the U.K are the sponsors and that both us and the aunt have stated so, further more why is there a provision under paragraph 41(Vi) which clearly states ( or accommodated adequately by relatives or friends who can demonstrate they are able and intend to do so, and are legally present in the United Kingdom) again i feel that we have satisfied this condition. I still say the ECOs decision is not guided by the paragraph which has been quoted but is guided by a personal belief that the applicant is a Nigerian on low wages by UK standards , not married , no property so definitely will do a runner. I still feel that this is blatant discrimination. If you could point me to a section under the paragraph under which the application was judged to have failed which points to a person having to show a high financial standing then i would feel a little less frustrated. Maybe i have missed something somewhere and i will see if i can find a guide to how the ECOs come to their decision within the set down law on immigration. Thanks again for the contribution because it has enlightened me to the fact that tourists and general visitors may be bunched in the same catogory

@ Justwise and all helpful forum members.
I kindly require some advise, I have read many of the posts and advice given for different situations.
Keep up the Good work peeps.
Here is my scenario. I and my Wife invited my wife’s 1st cousin (English terminology) over for the summer holiday to come and relax for a month during her own work. My wife’s 1st cousin who she referred to as aunty (in our culture) was like my wifes surrogate mother when my wife grew up in Nigeria , My wife’s mother died very young so her cousin who is much older than her was like a mother. Any way getting to the point, as this aunty was so nice to my wife we decided why not give her a short break and bring some joy and invite her over for a few weeks. She works in Nigeria as a general clerk in a school with an income of just 19,000N per month, she also has a small shop selling beverages to supplement her income, she is in her late 40s, not married, no property, no kids but content with Life and not somebody with any desire what so ever to come to Europe to become an illegal overstayer. This aunty cannot afford to come to U.K and never had it in her mind to until we offered to give her an all expenses paid holiday , she should just bring her self. The auntys brother on hearing this news then offered to donate towards the flight money , even though we had intended to buy the return ticket we agreed that anything he could give would be appreciated. I am a British Born Nigerian with both British and Nigerian passports, my wife has unlimited leave to remain.
I submitted all the necessary documents as evidence, evidence of our residence, evidence of earnings which are above £40,000 per anum, and evidence of savings, together with an invitation letter stating we will be fully financially responsible for her journey and accommodation during her short visit. We had intended her to come during the long summer school term and for her to return in time for the schools resuming in Nigeria around September 20th.
The application for the Visa was done online and there is restrictions on the amount of info one can put, even though there is a part at the end for additional information.
I would also add that the application was not helped by the aunty putting money in her account against our advice prior to submitting the application. The aunty made us aware that she had N60,000 in savings, she made it known to us that she was owed N50,000 from different people and that she would collect it very soon, when she did she put it into her account, furthermore her brother gave her N100,000 towards the flight which she again put into her account against our advise. I learnt about the N50,000 whilst she was filling out the online form so advised that she should explain that an amount had come into her account recently as a result of money owed to her her in the additional information part of the online form.
Anyway the general visa application was refused as follows
You’re Application you have applied for an entry clearance to visit the United Kingdom for 4 weeks. I have considered your application under paragraph 41 of the United Kingdom immigration rules. You state that your brother and cousin will fund your proposed trip to the UK. However in assessing your application I must be satisfied with your personal financial and family circumstances. You have submitted your personal bank statements as evidence of finance. You state your monthly income to be Ngn 19.382.91(£79.11). The credits and balances in your account are not commensurate with your declared monthly income. On the evidence before me I am not satisfied that you will be maintained and accommodated in the UK without working or having recourse to public funds or are able to meet the cost of return or an onward journey as required by paragraph, 41 (Vi) and (Vii) of HC395
I note that you own no land, property, have minimal savings and assets in your own right and you have no dependant relatives. I am not satisfied that you are settled or established, or that you have shown sufficiently strong family, social or economic ties to Nigeria. I am not satisfied on the balance of probabilities that you intend to stay the period you have stated or given the circumstances outlined above will comply with conditions of visitor entry clearance. Therefore I am not satisfied that you are seeking a genuine visit or that you intend to leave the UK at the end or your visit. 41 (i) and (ii).
At first i found the refusal reasons very insulting and extremely discriminatory, after reading this forum i realise that it is the same reason given to most refusals. After fuming for a few weeks i am now wandering weather its worth requesting an administrative review as i still find the reasons for refusal quoted to be unacceptable. The refusal appears to be based on the assumption that if you are single, not married with no property from a country such as Nigeria then you are going to break the ukba rules. Is this not blatant discrimination? If the reasons were that they felt that we the sponsors could not afford to accommodate her and pay her costs then fair enough, but they have not stated this as a reason.
I would like to challenge the decisions as follows and would like some advice as to whether it’s worth pursuing.
The Eco says that even though her brother and we will sponsor her trip he needs to be satisfied with her personal financial and family circumstances, prior to this statement he quotes that the application would be considered under paragraph 41.
I have over read paragraph 41 and no where under this rule does it say that the ECO should make a judgement based on the financial position of a person, or on whether the person is married with kids. Not everybody on this earth is going to be married with kids so does this mean that for this reason you can be excluded from travelling to a country, is this not discriminative by the UKs own standards. Paragraphs Vi and Vii are quite clear and straight forward : (vi) and/or accommodated adequately by relatives or friends who can demonstrate they are able and intend to do so, and are legally present in the United Kingdom, or will be at the time of their visit; and (vii) can meet the cost of the return or onward journey.
We feel that we the sponsors have over meet this criterion and that her ability to finance the trip should not be considred as we are the sponsors and we did the inviting and we have made it clear that we will sponser her, this was clearly stated in the invite letter and on the application and acknowledged in the ECOs refusal letter.
The Eco goes further and comes to the conclusion that the aunty despite being born, raised and spending her whole life in Nigeria has not sufficient ties to Warrant her wanting to stay in Nigeria and makes an assumption that she will violate paragraph 41 (i) and (ii).
I would like to also challenge this wild assumption that this aunty will want to overstay in this UK. It’s not everybody that wants to come and suffer in the U.K. This assumption is based on no fact as this aunty has no history of visa applications. But based on a stereotype. We know that this aunty does not earn enough money to take a trip hence we are gifting her a trip of our own accord. Are we not allowed to gift trips or holidays to friends or relatives from Africa? Two things that i would like advice on, is it worth asking for an administrative review, If so i remember reading a post where by the applicants solicitor wrote directly to the consular requesting a review. Rather than downloading a review form is it possible that if i get written authority from the aunty to do so, could i make representation as the main sponsor and write direct to the consular requesting a review.
Can somebody please advise where i can find that particular post as well because the poster gave details of the address his solicitors wrote two, unfortunately i did not book mark this page and now cannot find it.
The summer holiday is almost over but Christmas is not far away so i would like a review to be carried out and intend to state that even though the time we wanted her to come which would be convenient for her would be during a time when schools break up for holiday as im sure the ECO will question period we would like her to come for.
I must also state that the aunty provided proof of where she works and official holiday summertime timetables detailing when the school breaks up for holiday ect.
Finally the aunty does actually own land and has receipts, however she does not have a property on the land. Section 41 of the immigration rules does not state that one must have land or property in order to be considered admission as a general visitor, I understand that in a review one cannot add more information, however I’m wandering if in case a review is advisable should i state this additional fact.
Thanks in advance for reading this long winded post and thanks in advance for any advice.

Man thats imagination, nuff respect to you , I would never have thought about using a boot lace to acheive two satellites at once, thats innovation,
Any way Ive been meaning to post my pics of some satellite installations that i carried out While I was i Nigeria and Ghana In February of this year and also more recently in september of this year, i just returned back to the UK last week after a fantastic month spent in Nigeria.
The first few pictures are of a 65cm nailing astra 2b /w4 that i put up near Badagary in february of this year.
I used a multi lnb bracket that i brought over from the UK, The bracket can hold up to 3 lnbs over a span of 14 degrees .
I took some samples down to good old alaba market and the interest was immense, but i found even the installers had difficulty setting it up, once you know how its easy.
I notice you use W4 as your prime and ofset astra B meaning your second lnb will be below the prime lnb,
Ive done the reverse by making Astra 2 my prime and ofsetting W4 hence my second lnb is above my prime,
on the 65cm set up I was able to tune in all of DSTv transponders except the french part, all of HITV transponders
all of Multi Tv and Infinity.
Second pictures are a 85cm that i installed two weeks ago in ibadon using the same method.
I installed another Dish at OkokoMaical Last week using a 90cm and this time I set W4 as my prime and ofset astra 2 B. I found that Infinity transponders suffered badly in the rain using this techniqe, the bracket did not cope well this way round
on all installations i used a two way diseq switch

Im currently in Nigeria for the ramadam period and Ive hooked up multiTV at the wifes house using a technomate 6800HD which i carried over from the UK when i was here in march of this year, I have now scanned in infinty tv but also getting no sound at all apart from on the kids channels, ive tried manuely inputting the audio pids as shown on lyngsat but still no joy, can any one point me in the right direction on how to get audio on these chjannels using a technomate 6800hd
in the last two weeks ive installed satellite for various freinds family in ibadon, Songo, VI, and agbado, i brought those strong 4669x receivers and got sound on all stations apart from the music one, reading this forum i understand why no sound on the strong receivers as they need a simple firmware upgrade, too late for me to go back to all the places ive installed satellit in to do the upgrade as i fly back to the uk next week, and besides i have not had any complaints, but this technomate is not giving me any sound at all,
currently in a cyber cafe and ive downloaded the latest firmware for the technomate, if this does not work then ill give up, wife will have to continue to enjoy multi tv

Any help aprectiated
peaceoutea

Greetings to all
Haven't been up on this forum for almost two years since my last trip to Nigeria and Ghana back in 2008, Very happy to see the forum is still going strong.
There seems to be a lot of changes in the satellite scene since my last trip to Nigeria/Ghana, there were quite a lot of free stations on 36E and i put up a number of dishes both in Nigeria and Ghana and will be doing the same again in the next few weeks.

I want to know what ever happended to Darsat I thought they had a free network broadcasting in mpeg 4 on 27.5w but can no longer see the listing on lyngsat, did the network crash.
i also see there is a network on Astra 2 called multi tv which seems to be free. it looks interesting obviously you need hd equipment but thinking i may possibly be able to tune this in on my lap time with my portable usb skystar2 DVB receiver, i also have a portable 38cm casgrain dish (Arcon Sweety Camping Dish) which fits in my suitcase and is the equivalent of a 65cm dish, could this dish catch multitv or would i need a 90cm dish
Can any one give me an idea of the price of a 90cm dish sold locally in N

Also i hear talk about the channel CRT do they show any live premiership games.

Would appreciate any replies to my many questions and thanks in advance

Can someone point me in the right direction
Ive been Reading these posts on unlocking modems and I'm a bit confused,
I'm in London but will be in Nigeria for 5 weeks from next week and want to be able to access the net on my lap top,
i guess unlocking the usb modem is like with the phones where by youcan put any Sim card in it, but my worry is what are the data charges or is this for free, are you guys surfing for free or do you somehow pay your service provider eg. (mtn) and how do the charges work out.
Also my mobile phone is wifi enabled and so is my lap top and my phone has a modem inside so can i not somehow surf the net with this combination by just using the Sim card in the phone. also which network has the fastest service.
can anyone indicate the sort of costs involved in surfing or how to possibly hack into a network
Thanks in advance for any replies

Greetings and Blessings,
Just back in the u.k after a fanatastic trip to Naija and Ghana, in ghana i installed a number of dishes and found out thst in Ghana it is much more expensive to receive HI tv and My Tv then it is in Naija, I found a my tv smart card in festac area for 2,000N and did not pick it up, i ended up paying 35New
Ghana CDs in oso, Accra which is twice the price, also i was seeing deals around lagos advertising hitv at 9900N with thre months subscription , where as in ghana they wanted 50Ghana CDs for 1 month, to top up my tv in Ghana also costs 30 ghana cds where as in naija its 2000N again ghana is twice the price, any one know why so expensive in ghana.
I installed two satellite positions for two people 4 dishes, one for 36west sesat for Hi tv or Gbs tv and one at 68.5west for mytv. i used technomate receivers and they worked fine with a mytv smart card, but found that no african transponders were within the technomate database so i had to manually add these in order to get a signal.
the software patch i used on the technomates opens up the south african channel E.Tv which is encrypted in nagra 2 on 68.5e, i am told that E shows premiereship, but i can not vareryfy this untill the new season starts and i get reports from ghana .
i did get a bit of trouble locating 68.5E but got there in there end, it seems to have a very low elevation about 16 degreesfacing downwards,
I plan to be back in naija maybe around september to set up a small operation showing premiereship games to the locals, something so that my junior cousins out there can have a small something to eat.

Greetings and Blessings to all, I must big up eveybody on this forum, it is so refreshing comming up here on the odd occasion when i get time and too witness people being so helpful towards each other, if this attitude could trancend the whole naija Nation accross the globe both at home and in the diasphra then we would be world beaters in anything we do. Any how i wont go down my pan africanist line as this is a satellite forum and satellite is what i intend to talk, first ill give you all a joke. I should at this moment i speak be in my favourite city amsterdam preparing to board a flight later on to hit Naija This evening for only the second time in my 40 young years. Instead im back in London cursing my bad luck rather than in a coffee shop in amsterdam chilling and looking forward to visiting Home sweet home. What happended?, well i commited a cardinal sin by anouncing that i would be going home and as such got inudated with parcels to take to Naija. You can immagine by the time i got to heathrow i had so much luggae that i was three time over the limit. By the time arguments had come and gone, the plane was on its way to amsterdam and me still at heathrow fumming. my Holiday cancelled, No refunds. i had lost my holiday taking me too amsterdam for a day and night then lagos then acrra then back to amsterdam for another chiled out day before back to London, Had the next four weeks so planned now its not so planned. All is not lost as at a cost ive manged to get a flight straight to Naija, ill have to give those coffe shops in amsterdam a miss this time round and it now means im on the tightest of budgets but still ill be in naija on monday, minus all that baggae which messed me up in the first place. In reflection i suppose its quite funny but the pocket is hurt badly, hope ive brought a smile to some of your faces.
Any how back to what we are here for and to discuss the wonderfull world of satellite TV

@ justx24, I read your post with much interest as you talk about the use of a satellite finder, something that i have surprisingly not heard much people on this forum talk about , it seems like you have come across sesatw4 at 36E, I was actually wandering weather a sat finder would work on satellite beams into africa and you have answered my question. I have a number of various kinds of those little finders and would be happy to bring a few with me on my visit next week if anybody would be interested .
The reason why i was not sure wether it would work or not is because i have a very sophisticated digital satellite finder/meter called a Lacuna Digital sattelite meter.
by attaching the meter in the way justx24 has described aprt from the meter does not have to connect to a receiver like other satellite finders do. This lucuna meter acts like a receiver and tv in that with out a tv and receiver you can align a dish.
I get a digital read out of exactly what satellite im pointing at, as well as a digital read out of the strengh both H/V and also the picture quality and a calibirator which you can control the lnbs scew with. It is the mother of all meters and finds satellites in minutes, it also tests your LNB and can fine tune . I had intended to bring this with me which would mean it would take less than 5 minutes to aling a dish, but to my dismay, the manufacturers informed me it is not designed to work on beams into Africa, contry to them advertising the meter as being able to pick up any satellite in the world, they should describe it as picking up all visible european satellite beams. I have since challenged thier claim and they promised to write me a bit of software that would enable me to pick up african satellite beams with the meter, every time i ring them they say they will email me the software, they will do this they will do that, they are now ducking my calls.
I will write to a well known satellite magazine to dispel their claims, that aside, it is a wonderfull piece of kit i must admit, but they should come clean, i actually brought this meter a few months back with instillation of satellite in Ghana in mind as i knew that i would be installing satellite in ghana this year, so thought this will limit the time my European climatised body would be in that West African heat. I can now sence the mosqutoes licking their lips knowing fresh blood is comming to spend hours alining four dishes without his super satellite finder.

@fadinus. The mytv card you have for sale, does it currently open up channels or is ist just a basic card where by i have to purchase credit, and you say the dstv used to work in your decoder a few months ago, does it mean it no longer works, what channewls will it open, how long will it work for and is not dstv a pay monthly service, just wandering how you can veiw channels with out subscribing to that network, and even by eurpean standards, that network seems damn expensive.

Finaly @ all on forum: Peace and Luv to all
maybe i can get to hook up with one two of you guys on my travels and see your satellite set ups, i will be passing through Abuja, Ibadon, Port Harcote and Lagos on my trip by Gods Grace that is before going on to Accra.

Blessing to all and hope your weekend brings all that is good and decent.

the skystar usb cost me £25 from Ebay around 6,500 naira i suppose.

Does anyone know where i can pick up a myTV and trend tv subscription card, and what is the expected price i should pay, how much veiwing does the card give and how much to top up the card using these scratch cards i have read about. according to lyngsat, it seems that my TV has a european beam on 68.5E, would like to test this card out when i return from my visit to the Motherland and see what i can do with it.

for dre 09
Your freind may have all those networks open , how, im very interested in knowing, what receiver is he using, everything to do with encryption is software, i can not see any way one can change frequiences to acheive this, now that sounds like an old wives tale, with some untruths, but anything that can be closed with software, can be opened with software.
My skystar 2 usb on my pc, can almost open most with the right software, and emus,.
Maybe not on this trip, but definatly on my next trip to naija, i go carry my skystar usb receiver and my lap top and my portable 57 cm satellite dish, hook it up round my fathers place in lagos and see what i can watch. and report back my findings

Ejike, Trust me as long as your window or glass is not lined with lead, it will perform through two sheets of glass, check out this link
http://www.roadpro.co.uk/retail/product_reviews_details.aspx?prod=MULTIMO+SATELLITE+DISH&id=476

also the acorn sweety dish has the same performance and can see through double glazzing, both dishes are prime focus dishes. and are both just under 40cm in size, I have now purchased a slightly larger Arcon sweety at 57cm, i am ecpecting this dish to give the performance of a 90cm dish.
these dishes are not cheap at all, but i brought mine from ebay over the last year, they are not widly known about, so there are never to many floating about, if you see one for cheap, make sure you get it

Peace and Blessings to all, i dont get much time to look on the forum due to work but just to answer enigmas question on why 3 dishes when i can use a moterised or 3 lnbs. I live in an apartment block with dish restrictins, after campaining for a few years to be able to put up a tordial wavefrontier so some can get sky and me other satellites, the housing authority decided to put up one sky dish for the 6 apartments for sky use astra2, so I was finished, no hope of hotbird or astra, so after searching the internet extensivly, i came accross a 40cm camping dish called an arcon sweety which can see through double glassing windows and gives the performance of a 60cm dish, my brother, i thought this was the solution, so i brought the dish which comes on a tripod, stuck it on my kitchen window sill inside looking through the window, but it didnot work as there is lead in the window, but once i opended the window, i got my astra 1, so i brought another dish, a 38cm maximo camping dish pointed to hot bird and amazingly can pick up virtual;ly every transponder, it acts more like a 80cm, dish. thats why 3 satellites. i now have even attached a swinging arm inside my kitchen window and can swing it in an out, when i want, i now have purchased a 57cm arcon sweety, which i will attach to a swing arm and motorise it, at some point when i return from naija i will up load some pictures.

As for my dear brother eniten who is having second thoughts about me as i said i need to get 7E locked. I suppose thats why on the forum rules it qoutes the use of proper english.
Sorry eniten, thats my East London slang for meaning i need to tune in to that satellite, hope this has cleared your doubt.
Yes it is technomate receivers that i have shiped over to ghana, Im now wandering weather the dishes i shipped will be of use as i think they are proberbly desinged for elevatins of 0-45 degrees if i can rember rightly, or maybe i can turn the bracket upside down and it will give me a higher elevation, as i think the elevations of dishes in west africa would proberbly be much higher as you are nearer that clark belt or am i talking rubish

I actually use a skystar2 usb dvb card on my computer for satellite and have just run an s video cable and audio cables to my TV.
The computer decrypts so much more.

Stay Blessed one and All

Thanks so much eniton for that information, its very helpfull, im now of the opinion i need to have four satellite positions hence i need to send another dish, I did not think that W3a had much to offer apart from a porn network broadcasting to west africa, but now you say FA cup, premiership as well, i think that bird has to get Locked down as well.
Thanks once again, Maximum respect
Peace, Love and Blessings to all

Greetings And Blessings to all, I have some questions to ask, im a satellite enthusiast in London and at the moment i have 3 dishes pointing to astra 1 + 2 and hotbird, i am able to view the whole German network Premiere, French TPS and Canal +, and polish Polsat, by simply loading software on to my receiver, i do not pay a penny and get the English, French,German, Spanish and dutch leagues all for free.
Now im comming to naija for only the 2nd time in my 40 years of excistance. One of those born raised and lost in the UK you all could say, But any way im cooming home to the mother land and i need to know about satellite in that part of the world because after my brief stay in naija, i will be travelling on to Ghana where i have promised to set up a satellite sytem for my cous who lives there and also a work collegue.
I have done some research on what is available and have concluded that in order to get the best of free to air tv i need to and have shipped over three 90cm dishes with the intention of pointing them to 68.5E intelsat7/10, 36E sesat and 22W, is it true that one can watch the premiership free to air in KU band from 22W ? if so what channel shows premiereship for free using a 90cm dish.
Also why does everyone talk about strong receivers on this and other forums based around satellite in West Africa, are these the only receivers that work with pay networks ?, does the receiver have to be married to the card and activated before you can veiw. I have shipped over multiencryption receivers which i loaded software on to handle virtually any card thrown at it, except MR Murdochs Videogaurd encryption (sky and GTV i beleive) amongst others.
Can somone give me a rundown of what is possible to view when it comes to veiwing pay services, I understand that MYtv and Trend TV run a pay as you go service, how does this work, how much does it cost and what channels are available?, also what about HITV how does that network work, is it a pay monthly service and do they show any free channels
Also do you really need a strong receiver or could my hacked multycrypt receiver do the job, my receivers can read connax, irdeto, secca, nagravision, biss and a few other encryption cards but im not so sure about the activation process by scratch cards to give you credit. how does this work. is the card activated from a central point or through the receiver.
Also has anybody been lucky enough to veiw pay channels without a card, also cannal horizons on 22W does anyone Know if this is encrypted in secca 1 or secca 2. If encrypted in secca 1 does anyone have a link to a website for the secca key codes for cannal Horizons
Moving away from pay services what can i expect to see fta with 90cm dishes pointed to the 3 satellites that i have mentioned
Thanks in advance for any replies
