Time2soar1:
Hallelujah! God has done it.
Got PPR today after almost 10 months

Timeline

First application refused January 29th 2021

Second application submitted May 22nd 2021
Eligibility started May 31st 2021
Ghost update June 3rd 2020
Medical expires August 2021
New medical updated to pass September 2021
Correspondence letter March 3rd 2022
PPR March 3rd 2022
Age over 50 years

First refusal reason was purpose of study and personal assets and finance. In my reapplication, for purpose of study I used sub categories in my statement of purpose such as introduction, why the program, why the school and a specific section on the purpose and benefit of the study. Though I stated all this in the first application I emphasis it more in the second application.

For personal asset and finance, I submitted bank statement and mutual fund investment letter like the first application but this time I liquidated part of my mutual fund investment into my bank account to make sure the money in my bank account is more than the total money I budget for the study for myself and my family then I sent MBS of the bank account and then a new investment letter with the outstanding fund in my mutual fund investment.
I also attached valuation report of my land.

Most importantly I prayed to God for the approval. I give God all the glory because after the first refusal I almost gave up because I though age is against me. More so, I have two Masters degree already and I am going for another Master program but I committed it into God hand and He came through for me.

While waiting I requested GCMS twice but nothing was in them, eligibility shows "review required"

I hope this encourage someone.
The lord has done it again…..Congratulations…. I will testify in Jesus Name

Good morning gurus in the house,
I am a bit confused again oh…: I need help/ advice. I have a MSc degree in Psychology(Clinical). But based on advice from my agent I applied to Fanshawe with my BSc degree and I got the admission.
Now that I have to apply for study permit, I am confused because I don’t know if I should let the VO know that I have MSc or I shouldn’t ( will it affect my application?).

I am worried about the study gap between 2015 and now. I worked in a bank briefly between 2018 and 2018 before I finally resigned for MSc ……

P.S I got my BSc in 2015, MSc in OCT 2021, I am currently doing my clinical internship (a prerequisite for NACP membership and Licensure).

1) If you are applying for Fanshawe, I am fully aware you have to make use of their agents to apply for admission but not a visa. Therefore you can either study the thread and get the relevant information you may need or you make use of an agent( I can do that for you if you want) or you can reach out to other knowledgable gurus on the thread. Please ensure you have FULL ACCESS TO YOUR VISA PORTAL AFTER YOU HAVE PAID FOR THE AGENT SERVICE.

2) it is important you draft an sop or loe yourself as it is your mouth piece to a Vida officer but if you wish to outsource that, I offer that service or you can meet any of the gurus here. But it is important you study the SOP abd ascertain if it carries all relevant information you need the visa officer to know that could improve your chances of an approval.

3) Same as 2 above

4) Have you paid any amount towards your tuition? If not, it will be to your advantage if you did but ensure your familiarize yourself with the school's refunf policy.

5)Having a previous refusal doesn't not limit your chances but it is important you declare these refusals on your immm forms.

6) This is optional as people prefer living off campus especially you get to socialise more abd get exposed. This comes in handy especially when job hunting.

7) What I use is my rosary but prayers is a VITAL final ingredient.
Hello I will like to send you a mail

Congrats dear,

Please did u have any information on pmt of ancillary fee at Fanshawe college. I want to know if it is a compulsory pmt for someone who has a friend or relative to stay with over there.

Thank you.
I don’t know what that is, I just paid the amount that was requested. Thank you

Hi, congrats on your admission.

1. You could still go with the agent, since you paid already. But please vet the details before submission. I am assuming that since the agent works with the school, he/she should have some knowledge.

2. I help with LOE writing and review. You can reach me on scholarmonde@gmail.com.

3. You don't need SOP for visa application. It's only LOE.

4. I can't say whether that is enough or not. Your POF should cover your tuition and a year living expense. If your program is more than a year, you will have to give the visa officer an idea of how the subsequent years will be funded. Gift deed is fine.

5. The history of refusal shouldn't be a problem. Just mention them in your application. It's very important you do.

6. School accommodations are often expensive. If you can afford it, fine. But you can get an accommodation close to the school at a cheaper rate.

7. The prayer warriors can comment on this, lol. May God guide you and make your application successful.
Thank you for responding I really appreciate this
For the SOP I assumed it’s the study plan and I don’t even know how to go about it.
My program is for 1 year it costs 17,900 CAD I have paid 9,092.08 CAD from it. Amen!!!!! Thank you for praying for me.

Good Morning,
Thank you guys for your prompt response on Form A May God continue to bless you guys with more knowledge. I used UBA and I was debited within 4 working days, Flywire responded the same day and I got school(Fanshawe) receipt the next day.

I have officially gotten to the stage of Visa application, resumption is in September 2022 by God’s grace. I need help
1. My school required that I apply for admission through an agent and the agent claimed that when I paid for their services I also paid for visa application services—— I have seen people with bad testimonies after using an agent… I will like to know what you guys think about this.

2. I don’t know how to write LOE, I need help with this , who can I reach out to?

3. I don’t know how to write SOP tailored for Visa application

4. My sponsor(my older brother who lives in the US) has about 9 million Naira in his Nigerian account, but 7 million has been in the account since 27th of Dec, will that be enough as POF, if I apply in March or April . Note: he is also planning to send me some money as gift of deeds to my personal account of about 4M so that I can also attach that as POF—— is this a good idea.

5. I also have a history of being refused US visa two times 2018 and 2019.

6. Is applying for accommodation in the school a good planhuh

7. I need prayers from all the prayer warriors here

Gurus in the house….. please I need all the assistance I can get.
Thank you again for your assistance in he past God bless you

It's a choice to start over or not, but I wouldn't advise that you open a new request. I'll rather suggest you fund the account adequately and follow up with a visit to the bank.

Please note that unless you have so much money in your account, you may not be able to move funds from your account until your account has been fully debited for the Form A transaction. The reason is because you may not really be able to pre-determine when the bank would want to debit your account and complete the transaction, and you wouldn't want your account to be met unfunded of course.
Thank you very much.
I have funded the account again…. Which rate(CAD) do you suggest I use to estimate the amount that is to be in my Acct? I am expected to pay 9,122.08 CAD
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by pean06: 6:40pm On Feb 21, 2022
Please what can I do….
Does this mean I will have to start again or I can just add more money to my accounthuh? I am just confused.
Gurus in the building, please advise me

E-FORM A

The E-FORM A is a new development from the Central Bank of Nigeria to replace the old paper based Form A that was previously in use (If you have made school fees payment through the Bank in the past, the Form A was one of the forms you filled and submitted alongside other documents).

The FORM A (either E-based or paper based) is a requisite document for making Foreign payments through the Nigerian Banking System. The form comes with a UNIQUE Reference number that is generated with your application.

So this new development means you do not have to visit the Bank physically to initiate your school fees or other invisible remittance payments(medical bills, PTA/BTA, Subscription payment, foreign consultancy payments e.t.c.) It’s like filling an online form.

STEPS
1. Visit the website tradesystem.gov.ng
2. On successful loading of the website click on Applicant
3. You will see a page to login in with your username and password. Before you can login, down the page, you will see an option for “Register now”. For first time users, you will have to register using your BVN (Biometric Verification Number).

P.S: Your BVN profile must carry an accessible email and phone number which will receive an One Time Password (OTP) to complete your registration. If the email or phone number on your BVN is not accessible, you’ll need to visit the Bank (not necessarily Bank branch) where you enrolled for your BVN to update your phone number and email. One of the document you’ll require may include a court affidavit.

4. You will be required to fill in different information to complete your application. If you’re making payment for schools fees, the following documents in soft copies are required to be uploaded on the portal;
1. Passport Biodata page
2. Undergraduate Certificate(If application is for M.Sc degree school fees payment)
3. Letter of offer of Admission
4. Payment Advise from the institution (stating the bank details of the institution and tuition amount).

5. There are 4 sections to be completed when filling this E-Form A.

Section 1: Applicant Information
Section 2: Trade Services
Section 3: Bank Details (Here you input the Bank details of the school you’re paying to, these details will be on the payment advise sent to you by the school)
Section 4: Attachments (Ensure to upload all the documents listed above, maximum file size per document is 2MB)
Section 5: Preview Form

Some answers to some information requested on the portal under the Trade Services Section of the Application.

a. Is Valid for Forex: Choose Yes
b. Trade Category: Educational Services (For those making school fees payment)
c. Transaction purpose: Postgraduate Studies
d. Tick educational fees

5. Select preferred financial Institution and branch for processing. It is advisable to choose a branch of the Bank closest to you, just in case you need to visit the Bank for follow up with copies of your documents just in case.

6. Preview form and submit.

This process is relatively new, so a lot of Banks are still trying to grasps it, so it’s advisable that once you’ve completed the application online, visit the bank branch that you chose to follow up and ensure that the branch has received and acted on your request.

Also not all bank branches have been profiled on the platform yet, so you may not see the branch closest to you, it’s also understandable.

Upon receipt of your application, the Bank will process based on availability of Forex (Foreign exchange). The Banks receive weekly, a certain amount of allocation of Forex from CBN. So requests are processed on first come first serve basis based on the available Forex. So it is advisable that you initiate your school fees payment at least two weeks before the deadline.

You will need generate fanshawe wire transfer details from the flywire. Take it to the bank and fill in the details in the form A. Please ensure to include the flywire ticket number in the form A.
Can I send a mail to you?
I have generated Fanshawe wire transfer detail on fly wire.
I am having a problem with filling form A in the bank, I was told to fill form A on CBN website and upload all documents required, I am worried that CBN will not know that they are to make payment through fly wire
