‘To me, if I have a chance, maybe in the future,’ Promes said in quotes reported by Goal.

The Dutchman has netted eight goals in 12 Eredivisie games already this season and will be hoping to fire Ajax to more glory come the end of the campaign.

The 27-year-old, who moved back to Holland in the summer from Sevilla, is under contract with the Eredivisie giants until 2024.

Things have even gotten to the point that the couple have removed the televisions from their children’s rooms and even took away daughter North’s, six, make-up.

The 39-year-old reality star was asked if she supports her the rapper’s new spiritual life journey as she replied: ‘I do think that, you know, he is my husband.

Kim explained: ‘We got rid of TVs in the kids’ rooms and removed makeup from North’s room – and he’s been very… had this, you know, epiphany of being this – not that he wasn’t an amazing dad – but being a little bit more strict as a dad and being very forceful on the imagery that’s in our household and what they see.

Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for signing the Deep Offshore Act in London.

Tinubu also commended the president’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari for traveling to London to present the bill to Buhari for assent.

PEARL TV reported that Kyari presented the amended Deep Offshore Act to Buhari in London on Monday. Kyari.

However, Tinubu said the signing of the bill was a pointer to the fact that Buhari was determined to reform the country’s economy.

A statement he signed titled “The Coming Prosperity,” reads: “WITH the action by the National Assembly to improve the outdated Deep Offshore Act through legislative amendment, Nigeria has turned an important corner. As stated in his insightful, forward-looking commentary published in ThisDay…Presidential Chief of Staff Abba Kyari rightfully asserted the financial provisions of the old law had outlived their stated purpose. Continuation with this outmoded financial regime enriched the oil companies while depriving Nigeria of a fair bargain.

“Billions of dollars that should have landed in our national coffers to fund public infrastructure and essential social services instead found residence in the balance sheets of the oil firms.

“This was no attempt to deprive the oil majors. We want the firms to make a just profit for their efforts; however, they have been receiving a surplus at the expense of our minimal developmental needs. This is not as things should be.

“The companies are Nigeria’s long-term business partners and we have no interest in denigrating them; all we seek is a fair, equitable relationship. The new amendments provide this.

“The amendments demonstrate the important progress to be made when the National Assembly and the Presidency work in harmony for the collective good. Efforts by past governments to amend the law got bogged in failure due to the intervention of special interests.

“This time, finally, the national interests were considered weightier than the special interests of a few. President Buhari and the National Assembly leadership should be commended for this singular achievement.

“Chief of Staff Kyari titled his commentary “Toward a New Deal for Nigeria.” This is appropriate and more than symbolic. The title recalls a challenging time in the history of the United States. That nation was in the throes of economic contraction.

“The people would vote to remove the austere, insensitive party that had governed the nation for over a decade simply by catering to the wealthy. The people voted for a compassionate, progressive government headed by a committed principled leader to steer the nation out of danger. No two historical situations are identical. Along with his ministers and other officials, the EAC will offer the president their best professional advice on how to improve all aspects of the economy and government’s role in it.

“The amended Deep Offshore Act is not an isolated, solitary act. It is a harbinger.Just as the amended Act brings to the oil sector overdue reform that will benefit national development, the Buhari administration will take a critical look at all major segments of the economy.

“It will do so with an eye to reforming what needs to be reformed and improving what needs to be improved. Just as the oil sector has been made better, all other sectors of the economy will be strengthened.

“The end result will be an economy transformed into one that provides hope, opportunity and meaningful livelihoods for all.

“Indeed, we move toward a New Deal for Nigeria.”

Paul Okoye has shared an inspiring tale of how he saved a young Nigerian man from police brutality months ago, only to see him on TV last night playing against Barcelona in the champions league.



Paul Okoye took to Instagram to advise young Nigerians to use their phones in recording police officers whenever they are being harassed so that they can defend themselves.



He then went on to narrate how he came across a young man with dreads being harassed by police officers who were accusing him of being a fraudster (Yahoo boy) because of his appearance.



Paul said the man told the officers that he’s a footballer but they didn’t believe him and told him that all Yahoo boys claim to be footballers or musicians.



Paul said the officers became uncomfortable when he started filming them so they let the young man go.



Last night, November 5, Paul was pleasantly surprised when he was watching a football match on TV and saw the same man he saved months ago on his screen. Turns out the man is a professional footballer named Olayinka Peter Oladeji.

You are a criminal!” I told the police to stop calling him a criminal , the young man said he’s not a criminal, that he’s a footballer, and the police man said that what all you criminals and yahoo boys say… if it’s not footballer, it’s musician and all so I got pissed, brought out my phone and started making a video, the police were uncomfortable, that’s was how they decided to let him go … later that night this young man sent me a Dm and thanked me … but then his Instagram page was verified…. to cut the long story short….. yesterday I saw this same young man playing against Barcelona in champions league Barcelona vs slavia Prague azin ehh!!, I was like this guy looks familiar, had to type his name on I.g @olayinka_peter …. STARS AREN’T CONVINCED

Emery is facing big challenges in trying to reverse his team’s worrying form. Convincing the squad of his methods remains the biggest obstacle.

His players are following instructions but whether they believe in what they are being told is another matter.

Players are struggling to see an authentic identity to how Emery wants them to play. At the start of his reign, the team adopted a high press, but the head coach appears to have ditched that tactic.

Equally, the team showed real intent to play out from the back at the start of the season but that ploy looks to have been sidelined too.

THE OZIL CONUNDRUM

Emery’s treatment of Ozil this season has been privately questioned by his team-mates. The German World Cup winner was left out of the squad for six games in a row before making his return in the Carabao Cup defeat at Liverpool. He also started Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Wolves, but his recent exclusion has left a number of players bemused.

There is a feeling the attacker has much to offer in certain games, particularly at the Emirates Stadium when they struggle to unlock teams who sit back.

The manager can be quite insular at London Colney. In fairness, when your predecessor is Arsene Wenger you’re fighting a losing battle in the popularity stakes. He doesn’t shut himself away and holds regular one-on-one meetings and is considered amiable enough — but does not possess Wenger’s wit and charm.

He can be guilty of keeping himself to himself though — perhaps not the best way to build a rapport with your squad. He is, however, tight with his trusted inner circle: Juan Carlos Carcedo, Pablo Villanueva and Victor Manas.

Steve Bould, meanwhile, left his position as first-team coach in the summer to take up a position at the club’s academy and Sportsmail understands he was happy to do so as he felt underused in the first-team set-up.

Steve Morrow has been axed following a planned restructuring of the club’s academy recruitment department. The former Gunners defender has been told he is no longer needed. Sportsmail understands as many as eight members of staff have left — or are set to leave — the Emirates Stadium. Among those are believed to be former Chelsea forward Dave Lee, Kevin Beadell and Dan Rice, who all held recruitment positions at the club.

FANS OUT FOR A FIGHT

Once the supporters start to turn you’re fighting a losing battle. Emery appears to be reaching the point of no return with a section of supporters. The boos that have echoed round the Emirates regularly this season have not gone unnoticed by the club’s hierarchy.

The board want to give Emery the opportunity to transform the club’s fortunes, but how long can they ignore calls for Emery to be sacked? Ultimately, that’s what did for Wenger. Towards the end of the Frenchman’s reign, supporters voted with their feet by boycotting games. Emery looks to be treading the same path. Obviously a few consecutive wins would satisfy disgruntled fans in the short term, but do Arsenal really want a man in charge who is constantly fire-fighting?

LOSING AUTHORITY

The furore over the captaincy took Emery by surprise. The role isn’t as revered on the continent as it is here. His decision to let the players elect their own captain underlined his view. So calls for Granit Xhaka to be stripped of the armband over his tirade at fans after being substituted against Crystal Palace last month caught Emery on the hop. Emery said Xhaka was ‘wrong’ to react, but if he truly believes that, why does the midfielder remain captain?

Indeed, the Spaniard even canvassed opinion from his players over whether Xhaka should continue as captain. Where’s the authority in that? Likewise, his decision to recall Ozil placed question marks over his level of control. If Emery saw fit to leave him out for six games he obviously doesn’t fancy Ozil. In that case, have the conviction to stand by your decision. It all points towards a lack of leadership. Make no mistake, the players have clocked on.

In July, the condo was listed at $15.45 million, before it was reduced to it’s current price of over $14 million.

Now only time will tell how much longer the home remains on the market.

But the reality star has revealed she ‘fell off’ the wagon and has gained 18 pounds in the past year.

In a confessional Instagram Stories post from the gym on Saturday, she told fans: ‘It’s my eating. I work out but it’s like, my eating.’

The 39-year-old said as she pointed the camera at her trainer Melissa Alcantara: ‘Ok, so we’re doing a night workout before my dinner, which I never do, with this one, but I figured we have to get into it at some point.

‘And yeah, I mean, sometimes you fall off and sometimes you really gotta get it together and this is one of my fallen off times where I am, I think, 18 pounds up from what I was about a year ago, a year and a half ago.’

Kim said that she’s working toward her ‘goal weight’ by her 40th birthday, which is next October 21.

She added: ‘To feel good, I just want to get it like, a really good goal weight and so that means working out at all costs…But Melissa and I have a major goal for by the time I’m 40.’

In a major seizure, police in Goa, western India on Tuesday, October 29th arrested a Nigerian man identified as Ifeanyi Pascal Obi, a.k.a Alex and confiscated drugs worth about Rs 3 crore(about $400,000) from him.



The burst was a massive one considering that the value of the seized drugs was the same as the entire seizures in 2018. The seizure was made following a raid at a hotel in the beach village of Candolim by the Calangute Police Station following a tip off.



Police inspector Nolasco Raposo, in-charge of the Calangute police station said that 34-year-old Nigerian was arrested for possession of the drugs.



“We have seized around 1 kg of Cocaine, around 2 kg MDMA(ecstasy drug), around 760 grams of Amphetamine tablets, around 106 grams charas, 1.2 kg ganja and cash amount of Rs 2 lakh, Raposo told reporters in Colangute.



Obi was arrested earlier in 2011 and booked for overstaying and again in 2012 for the possession of cocaine. The trials are pending in both cases.

“This raid is one of the single biggest seizures by the Goa Police in recent times. We cannot yet comment on his position in the drug network hierarchy as investigations are under process,” North Goa Superintendent of Police Utkrisht Prasoon said.



The police are also looking into the possible negligence by the landlord who rented out the premises to him. The accused Obi has been booked under relevant sections of the Narcotics, Drugs and Psycotropic Substances act.

Nollywood actress, Bose Oladimeji has disclosed that she is quitting her marriage of two years because of the domestic abuse she claims she has been subjected to.

According to Bose, her husband beats and rapes her each time he comes home drunk. She told Vanguard that the domestic violence she has been subjected to is not only violent but now life-threatening.

“Yes I’m ready to go, in fact, I’m not with him right now. I just have to run for my life, my life is very precious to me. I can’t just allow someone to kill me like that and I want to address some ladies out there that they should not love a guy because of what he gives them.

They should be sure the love is genuine and not be fooled by money and comfort. I’m leaving right now, I need to run away for my life. I need to save myself. My life will be in danger if I continue to stay with him, so I’m leaving right now,” she said.

“Whenever he’s drunk he’s out of his senses and starts misbehaving, beating me. He acts very crazy. .

“Any weapon he sees around he uses it on me but when he is sober he starts to regret whatever he has done. What I’m saying is that in the process of beating me what if I collapse and die or get injured, what will people say?” Bose added.

Frank Lampard admitted he turned down interest in the summer for centre-back Kurt Zouma, knowing that he would play an important first-team role this season.

Zouma, who was on-loan at Everton last season, has forged a partnership with Fikayo Tomori and the pair have flourished together during Chelsea’s seven-match win streak in all competitions.

The Blues are looking to make it eight from eight this evening against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup, and manager Lampard praised Zouma’s form following a shaky opening-weekend performance against the Red Devils in August.

Zouma could start his sixth game on the trot if he plays tonight at Stamford Bridge, and Lampard acknowledged that the 25-year-old has taken his opportunity following Andreas Christensen’s injury.

‘It has been nice to get some stability, albeit because of injuries, between him and Fikayo in the last games,’ Lampard stated.

‘It has been good to get them playing together, to see the little bond they are getting on and off the pitch.

‘It is a nice little story and it must continue, I suppose.’
