THIS IS REALLY GETTING SCARY WITH WHAT US SAID AND NOW CHAD PRESIDENT, IT WILL BE VERY SAD TO FIND OUT THAT NIGERIAN PRESIDENT IS DEEPLY INVOLVED WITH BOKO HARAM. IT WILLBE SAD TO SEE GEJ GO DOWN AS A TERRORIST. FIRST IT WAS US AND GAS MASK NOW "After Chad engaged Boko Haram in Dikwa, Nigeria chased Chad out with the excuse that the Nigerian side planned to drop bombs on Boko Haram in Dikwa. Chad later claimed Boko Haram leader, “Abubakar Shekau” escaped at Dikwa with the Nigerian intervention" I PRAY FOR NIGERIA

Just like he is claiming glory for the rail system this was started by OBJ in 2006 Contract to rebuild Lagos to Kano railway line On 30 October 2006 President Olusegun Obasanjo signed a contract with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation [4] to modernise the Lagos to Kano railway line. This is the first phase of the proposed 3 phase line upgrade. The project has been split up into 5 sections namely Lagos-Ibadan (181 km), Ibadan-Ilorin (200 km), Ilorin-Minna (270 km), Minna–Abuja–Kaduna (360 km), and Kaduna-Kano (305 km). Construction started, but the project was suspended in 2008 following a dispute. A supplementary agreement was signed in September 2012 and may now restart.[5] Development of inland container depots On 8 June 2006 development of Inland Container Depots (ICD) was proposed for a number of sites.[6] China helps with revolutionary "fast" rail Announced 22 March 2006. In terms of a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Nigeria’s Federal Government on 16 March, the Guangdong Xinguang International Group is to construct a revolutionary “fast” rail (RFR) system from Lagos to the capital Abuja (where there is no existing railway) as well as light rail lines to the Murtala Mohammed International Airport from Lagos city and to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport from the Abuja city centre. According to the minister of commerce, $US2billion has been made available to start the projects, and the Chinese company will also invest in the three planned stages of the projected Abuja light rail system |
Tibins:Its part of OBJ's $18B Jona is commissioning now The Nigerian National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) was conceived in 2004[1] when Olusegun Obasanjo was the President of the Federal Government of Nigeria. It was formed to address the issues of insufficient electric power generation and excessive gas flaring from oil exploration in the Niger Delta region. Seven power plants were designed in gas-producing states as part of the project. Planned power plants included:[2] Ihovbor Power Station Benin, Edo State with the capacity of 4 x 112.5 MW (ISO 126 MW). Calabar Power Station, Cross River State with the capacity of 5 x 112.5112.5 MW (ISO 126 MW). Egbema Power Station, Imo State with the capacity of 3 x 112.5 MW (ISO 126 MW). Gbarain Power Station, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State with the capacity of 2 x 112.5 MW (ISO 126 MW). Sapele Power Station, Delta State with the capacity of 4 x 112.5 MW (ISO 126 MW). Omoku Power Station, Rivers State with the capacity of 2 x 112.5 MW (ISO 126 MW). Ikot Abasi Power Station, Akwa Ibom with the capacity of 2 x 112.5 MW (ISO 126 MW) (replaced later by Ibom Power Station). Together, the projects generated contracts worth $414,000,000 for the supply of turbines and electricity generation equipment to General Electric (GE).[3] The primary turbine is GE 9E gas turbine with a nominal ISO rating of 126MW. After adjusting for site conditions, the capacity was set to 112.5 MW. The plants are low efficiency simple cycle but have provision for future extension to combined cycle.[4] Administration changes in 2007 interrupted funding for more than two years.[5] The NIPP project includes 11 power plants and 4 FGN Power Stations: Alaoji Power Station, Abia State, combined cycle plant with the capacity of 4 x 112.5 MW (ISO 125 MW) and 2x steam 255 MW Omotosho II Power Station, Ondo State, with the capacity of 4 x 112.5 (ISO 125 MW) Olorunsogo II Power Station, Ogun State, combined cycle plant with the capacity of 4 x 125 MW and 2 x steam 125 MW Geregu II Power Station, Kogi State, with the capacity of 434 MW [6] Following the Afam V and Geregu I plants, Geregu II is now the third gas-turbine power plant to be constructed by Siemens in Nigeria as a turnkey project and completed on schedule. The scope of delivery supplied by Siemens for Geregu II included three SGT5-2000E gas turbines, three SGen5-100A generators, as well as all the electrical systems and the SPPA-T3000 control system. [7] The Ikot Abasi NIPP power plant has been replaced by Ibom Power, which is a 190 MW project of the Akwa Ibom State government. The revised project involves large scale transmission projects across all of Nigeria which are crucial to ensure power distribution from generation plants to final customers.[8] I worked for an IPP briefly in Lagos so I know what I am talking about |
Omooba77:All is well !!!!!!!!! But i guess most of us are at that point after 6 yrs of BS we cant take it no more Jona might not be as bad as pple paint him but definitely he is NOT GOOD AT HIS JOB OF RULING THE COUNTRY The most annoying part is patronizing everybody, imagine dude was on CNN saying the power situation is better they should ask people on the streets of lagos and abuja whereas most pple already tweeted that they will like to watch but there is no light Imagine sacking SLS because of the truth, Oduah was not probed. Why are they trying to make fools out of us they have 365 days X 4years to shine Nigerian voters have just one day to shine and thats to vote who they believe in and I know for most pple its not Jona |
taharqa:Olorunsogo 1 was commissioned in May 2007. the project which was awarded to a Chinese firm, SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation in 2002 It functioned for barely three years before six of the eight turbines went off due to lack of spare parts and operating manuals in English language. Back to Olorunsogo 2 it was close to completion because it was part of Obj's 3rd term last card game and thats why Mr Sambo said while Fielding questions from journalists after a working tour of the project, in Olorunsogo, Ogun state, Vice President Nnamadi Sambo said the government was committed to delivering stable electricity supply to Nigerians before the end of President Goodluck Jonathan's administration. "In another six months from now, the entire project would be completed and have 750MW added to the national grid," he told journalists. Just to get the record straight Sogo1 was commissioned in May 2007 Sogo2 the contract for the execution of the project was signed in 2007 by the federal government to boost power generation in the country. and as the time oga at the top Jona and Sambo got there the project was almost done Thats why Vice President Nnamadi Sambo said the government was committed to delivering stable electricity supply to Nigerians before the end of President Goodluck Jonathan's administration. "In another six months from now, the entire project would be completed and have 750MW added to the national grid," he told journalists. |
Omooba77:Sure we will get there but Its just really sad that they have to wait this long or trick the masses with a kangaroo project to impress that they have been working What happened to the promises of subsidy removal, the buses, promise to build refinery, take down the cabal(nobody is in jail yet o)............. |
Omooba77:OBj commissioned Phase 1 then and Phase 2 was close to completion but the last time i checked production dropped to 60MW against 300MW because only 2 of the 8 turbines are working and also gas supply to the turbine is a big issue |

Omooba77:Olorunsogo power plant to start operation in November By Elizabeth Archibong May 6, 2011 02:11AM Fielding questions from journalists after a working tour of the project, in Olorunsogo, Ogun state, Vice President Nnamadi Sambo said the government was committed to delivering stable electricity supply to Nigerians before the end of President Goodluck Jonathan's administration. Akon419:To give honor to whom honor is due then i will say give honor to Obj the project was close to completion because it was part of his 3rd term game plan in 2011 Sambo said the project will be completed in 6 months so how far 6 mnths since may 2011 . I am sure we still use planet earth calendar and not planet mercury calender |
Omooba77:Maybe you still don't understand, that the contract for the execution of the project was signed in 2007 by the federal government when Obasanjo started this to fuel his 3rd term agenda everybody was shouting that this is waste of money Now oga at the top is stepping out that he fulfilled his promise really Mind you i worked for IPP so i know what I am saying plus sambo said it will be completed in 6mnths that was in 2011 because its a project that was close to completion when they came in |
Omooba77:Nuhu Wya, minister of state power told our correspondent, during the inspection of the project, that the contract for the execution of the project was signed in 2007 by the federal government to boost power generation in the country. 2007 till now is what? |
Omooba77:So it took them 8 years to complete 750MW power plant, How long does it take to build a space ship? at what capacity is it operating? how much has the plant generated, They think they will just move around paint one old building commission it and all is well. All these na wash, commission 4 naval ship, commission 750 MW, tomorrow commission stadium , commission boko haram defeat I see two things its either they trying to diffuse stolen money which i like at least its not sitting in an account in Switzerland or trying to play damage control and thats too late |

Such things are reserved for progressive people to deliver to their people. That was why the gaze turned to the Congress for Progressive Change but the admixture of hate-politics coupled with the brute force of state coercion subverted the people's will! The effect, he said, "is that the exhaust heat that would otherwise be lost is recovered and used to generate additional electricity without bearing more gas". According to him, the process increases the efficiency from about 35 percent to 50 percent. Mr Wya added that three of the four gas turbines were already running, stating that the 750MW will "contribute additional 20 percent of the total power available to Nigeria.
