EducationRe: ASUU STRIKE: What Have You Achieved So Far? by Pedrogold(m): 1:28pm On Dec 08, 2020
This year didn't waste after all

I perfected my FX trading skills with some advanced online course
I started my book club, picked up interest in French (finished Michele Thomas's beginners and advanced French courses).
Started saving with piggyvest and finally bought some stocks to test my skills.
I equally lectured waec and jamb students earlier this year and most of them did excellently well in my subject.

Last last sha, when school resumes, I won't be going back with that rubbish phone i was using before and I will use part of the money from my safe lock to buy clothes and shoes.
SportsRe: Why And When Did You Start Supporting Your Favorite Football Club? by Pedrogold(m): 8:00am On Jul 06, 2020
Manchester united. I guess mine came naturally, i didn't have a favorite player but I remember I had people who loved football around me. I was in jss1 then, I'd go to the viewing center with my brother and his friend (utd fans) and each time, they were always outnumbered, Chelsea and arsenal fans everywhere thrash talking them. I loved the fact that utd fans were more calm and reserved and mostly still end up winning. It was the beginning of my hatred for Chelsea, since almost all of them were loud and nosy, they'd sit to watch utd playing other teams and still outnumber utd fans.
RomanceRe: What I Found On My Sales Girl's Facebook Messages by Pedrogold(m): 9:21am On Jun 07, 2020
Sadly I didn't see this on time.
Gladly, you accepted it was wrong to peep into her privacy.

Now that you know her secret and how much of a danger she is putting herself into, you'll do no good laying her off, in fact you'll be setting her free to explore other areas, imagine she gets a job with another man who now takes advantage of her lifestyle and all that, you'll end up blaming yourself.

Here's what I think you should do.

1. Don't change your ways towards her
2. Sit her down for a talk, don't mention what you saw on her message. In fact don't tell her you saw anything, just tell her you have some negative feelings that she's in a mess and at risk
People respond more to fear of danger than pursuit of pleasure.
Tell her you had a dream about her (I know this is a lie, but it's necessary, you have already done wrong by invading her privacy) let her know you saw her giving herself up to death, (she's a misguided believer, trust me, she knows what she's doing but she's doing it because she can't help herself).
Put fear in her without letting her know you saw her chats, construct the dream talk so well that it relates to her story and make her feel fear, she'll confess herself or end up thinking about her life all over again.

Then you must have stimulated her recovery.

As for her pregnancy, let her decide what she wants to do with it if she tells you about it. She's quite young to be a single mother, but you never know.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Share Your Job Hunting Experience With Zero Balance by Pedrogold(m): 4:51pm On May 16, 2020
cheesy lmao.... This reminds me of my experience working as a labourer at 17 after I had just graduated from high school.
I was just too soft to do the job and everyone kept saying I should go home.
Babcock University high school construction site that year. Strong head no gre me, seeing my neighbor's two sons working and making money to buy gadgets which I couldn't get and hearing stories of how they got to talk to the female students and date some of them.

I also couldn't carry a bag of cement or raise the head pan of concrete alone, man Sha hustle am that day. They paid for 1,300 daily. Na so I collapse when I reach house, mama Com dey fear they ask who send me. The following day my friend came to call me for work, na from bed I shout "your papa". I jejely went to collect my money on Friday cus they paid on Fridays. This life hard Sha, and the stupid thing was, I still went back to do the work some months after till I got used to it.

It's been 3 years plus now Sha and I still look back at that moment and smile. I learnt how to hustle Sha and it's helping me stay serious and focused in school now.

In a saner society, you don't legalise guns use
In a saner society, you don't keep looters' funds in your country when you know that it is impossible for a man to have such, you join hands to kick against it
In a saner society, you don't enslave your fellow humans in the disguise of visa lottery etc
Also, you give ur children all round discipline and manners cos children's mind is where madness resides
Such a load of crap.. All what you listed above doesn't have any negative impact on the Citizens of the country itself. Nigeria isn't good enough by any standard. Mae you try rest for this argument!

True! That's so true, but it's easier in this case. Even if i don't talk to her about it, she'd tell from my actions and words towards her.

I'm hoping that the news of uniben not accepting commerce as a utme subject is not true. The brochure plainly stated the requirements as maths, econs and any social science subject. At least ssce has the combination of others like accounts, govt and biology. How do I even access this online jamb brochure?
