2012 NNPC recruitment started with Jonathan's administrator where due process was followed in advertising the job positions for six weeks and qualified applicants responded to the job positions.

However, the applicants waited till December, 2014 before they were being shortlisted for aptitude test. As result, people travelled from different parts of the world and across the country to respond to the call by NNPC Group.

In February, 2015 before the general election, Phillips Consulting Limited sent text messages to successful candidates for the final interview. As such, NNPC sent a letter to Phillipa Consulting Limited to put the recruitment on hold which they did immediately.

As a result of the delay and the successful applicants were kept in limbo without any feedback from NNPC Group not Phillips Consulting Limited. Some creative applicants had to create twitter account in order to follow up with NNPC Group or Phillips Consulting Limited to ascertain what is delaying the recruitment process which was remaining the final interview.

After different tweet using the twitter handle @nnpcrecruitment, Phillips Consulting Limited responded that they were asked to do a job and they did it. As a result, we should ask NNPC Group about any question Concerning the recruitment.

The applicants have been asking NNPC Group questions about the recruitment but they have never responded for once about what happened to it or why it is being stalled.


They have made attempts to send correspondences to Dr Baru-GMD NNPC, Dr Ibe Kachikwu APC Nigeria and PMB all to know avail.

On behalf of the 2012 NNPC Group applicants, we appeal to Nigerian Senate and the National Assembly to look into why the recruitment has been stalled and why there has not been any proper feedback by this new management of NNPC Group and the present government to the applicants.

Senate should also probe 2012 NNPC recruitment that have been hijacked by cabals since then.

what is the new NNPC Management thinking about. For me I think it is a total irresponsibility or they are looking for fishy things to do. We dont really understand this government.

It is very pathetic about the irresponsibility of this NNPC Group management team. How can you keep candidates in limbo without getting back to them. NNPC should review the recruitment process and communicate accordingly if they would continue with it or not.

A lot of people here that passed the first stage are not interested in knowing their fate as per whether NNPC would continue or not. It cant take us anything to walk to the towers and ask questions about the recruitment since neither Phillips Consulting or NNPC has responded to us.

I would implore us again to gather and do a peaceful demonstration on this to ascertain our fate and as a result everybody can hold on or move on.

However, it is very pathetic from the side of NNPC to keep people for this long and even a feedback didnt come from them. It truly shows that kind of system that we have and on the side of its management, it shows irresponsibility. As a big company, you are meant to terminate a contract or progress with it but this one, nothing is being done.

We all clamored for CHANGE and here is it.

The kind of government we run in this country is appaulling but God will see us through

Where re we on this recruitment. Is it going to be like DPR that those in Buhari's government have hijacked or Has it been hijacked already.

Is this the change we sought for or we are seeing a different thing under Buhari's watch.

Please which company in the world can keep people for so long like this without getting back to them telling them about the status of the recruitment- whether it has been cancelled or for them to still wait till things normalise.

Are the candidates not part of NNPC Group stakeholders.

Tell me in Nigeria who can speak for these candidates that suffered and did the job test in 2014. some people traveled from diffrent parts of the world to Nigeria to come and write but after the first feedback nothing again since 2015 till now.

Are the poor youths of Nigeria not entitled to work in NNPC Group without knowing anyone.

Why is NNPC Group telling us that they are not recruiting, have they concluded the one that was on-hold.

Please let us answer all these questions above and find out if this NNPC Management are responsible people or not.

Cant they terminate the contract they dont want to proceed with.

This is the surest way that we can use to make this thing happen. Since my life time, I have never seen a company that kept candidates for so long like this without reaching out to them whether they would continue with the recruitment or not. Immigration Guys did it and their voices were heard. Probably those charged with governance don't even know that this is what candidates(people) have been passing through. We don't have anything to lose even if it is cancelled. I implore everyone especially those in Abj to agree on a date and come out in masses if not, all these our efforts would be swept under the carpet of APC doesn't want juicy jobs to go to the poor masses except their children -tge likes of Ibe Kachikwu and Co. Please let's have sizeable volunteers. We have nothing to lose and as such it is just for us to hear from them about the position that they have taken about this unending recruitment.

This is the opportunity we have to make our voices heard and there is no harm in trying. It is better for us all to confirm our position about it rather than keeping quiet

Because it is the responsibility of NNPC to tell us whether they would continue with the recruitment or not.
Any assumption will make here is void.

It is not a must that they should continue with the recruitment and as such they should tell us their decision about it rather than keeping us in the dark.

We can converge at NNPC Towers if we agree and we would hear them. This is my take on it
