Sorry you don't know how DPR works. For the engineers, be ready to be posted to Warrior, Port Harcourt or Lagos. Some of u guys in downstream will be posted to terminal operations which means u will be working 1 week offshore and 1 week time off all to yourself but if u are posted to terminal operations in PH, u will be working 2 weeks offshore and 2 weeks time off. If you are posted to upstream u will still be working offshore with time off but not on permanent basis like terminal operations because u will still be reporting to office. The good thing abt terminal operations is that u can stay anywhere since you are not office staff, u can stay in Abuja and be working in Warri.

It is pertinent to note that during the process, the applicants were interviewed based on the fact that, they applied as graduate trainees (G.T) or as experienced hire. (G.H).
3. CRITERIA/PROCEDURE FOR GRADING:

He can never be considered for EH, since he applied for GT position from day 1. His experience matters nothing to them even though he was asked about that. He won’t get extra points for his experience level. His performance is all that matters and course of study relating to the position applied for. He shouldn’t have provided his work experience on his profile because it wasn’t necessary as a GT applicant.

Prior to the intervew start date, the interviewers were trained for the assessment of candidates. They were told what to look out for and how it will be graded on the computer system and not a subjective judgement.

It’s obvious you don’t know the man you are dealing with here. I want you to do me a favour, if you know any management staff in the HQ, ask what Mr. Tata did in the month of January, 2018 that Made the other DDs shocked and speechless. Mr. Tata is fearless, bold and a man of integrity that was why he was get 300+ merit on the list. Mind you, Mr Tata and the king are from the same village. You have no idea how close they are.

Time will tell.

70% and above in the interview will get you the job, provided the other factors I mentioned in my previous posts are Satisfactory. Best of Luck!

You think that they want to recruit mediocres. I am sorry to tell that it is a really big advantage to have another certification or degree. It shows how adventurous you are.

If u ever tendered ur Masters qualification as a GT, keep praying harder cos that is only a bonus 4 EHs and not GTs. Remember they have the same salary scale 4 all GTs with Bachelor's Degree and don't want you to start aggitating 4 promotion (Boss) barely after 2 yrs of ur resumption; when there may actually be no room just above; which is why they never allowed GTs upload anything beyond first degree even during the profile update call. But during the interview, they 'll persuade u to think of it as a plus, so u can say the truth.

In my honest opinion, DPR already know the candidates who are more likely to get the job based on test performance before interview.

It is not the job of the chairman of FCC to issue COC. There is a committee incharge of that affair headed by a commissioner of state. However, the list gets to the chairman first before being sent to the committee for approval. Just like in DPR recruitment , the HR department has bigger influence during recruitment than the office of the chairman.
