Dear Nairalanders....Please help.

I did an investment of N700k over a period from 2013-2014 with Mutual Benefit Life Assurance. I did not continue premium payment due to challenges. Yesterday i went to call for my funds and i was told to my chagrin that i would be charged N192.5k(27.5%) as pre-termination charges. This is being taken from my principal investment;no interest would be paid because the tenor (of five years is still in the future).

For three years, NO INTEREST and my principal is being charged?!! This is Neo Robbery. The Insurance surely did not leave this money in a bank vault, but invested my money in profitable ventures. Why would I not be entitled to Interest; why must my hard earned Principal be charged.

This is a classical case of a Corporate Body stealing from unsuspecting citizens. No where in the Insurance Policy is the pre-termination rate stated.

I need Nigerians to know this is happening. I am yet to be paid and upon receipt of my discharge form, I intend to seek redress in court. This is WICKEDNESS to say the least. Caveat Emptor!!!!!

Hello NL's, pls wat can be done about my 16year old last born brother who is suppose to be studying Computer Science in Crescent University but in recent times has made up his mind not to go to school again just because of religion?He is fast becoming a fanatic n doesnt listen to anyone and my parents are worried bitterly as they believe that even if he wants to pursue religion on a full scale,he should at least complete his education first as he is too young and the fanatics are reli eating up his mind, he doesnt do anytn regular again i.e watch tv,want to read his books,dress up,mix with fellow mates even siblings etc, just islamic books n articles and programmes only!!!My parents have been speakin to people and they think he should be monitored very very closely.Any suggestions or comments pls
P.S - We are from an average muslim family and he is extremely brilliant

Av been on low cut for a while now tho i kinda look like a boi wt it cos of my face structure but its cool .Anyway i dredlocked it recently, truth is low cut depends on u n ow comfortable u can feel carryin it alongside ur personality, tho sumtimes u ll feel funny wt it wen u wear som clothes and u ll get bored wt it as well, those times u cld spot on a wig!!no harm tryin new things, cheers

Well my so called boyfriend is the one stuck.we have been on and off for a while now cos hes been in d UK for about four years and after a while i just got tired of d whole thing n d way it was going.We still talked n chatted all d while when am not mad at him tho,but wit the assumption dat d relationship was over.Now am in d Uk to do my masters and i av told him to stay away if he doesnt have anytin to offer but he says he is still crazy about me and am d best thing dat has ever happened to him but my biased mind isnt making things easy for him cos i am not reli ready to give him a chance cos hes in a relationship.Anyway,i av told him to go sort himself out and until then should stay away, honestly he hasnt been too good to me n has made me so very miserable a number of times but the thing is i have neva stopped loving him,
