The same Doyin became Martin Luther King in All Stars, turning her sights on the Mercy/Venita/Angel/Kimoprah axis while deeply projecting a need to be a member. In her frustration, she started calling them "Mean girls". In a foreign country Doyin might have become a serial killer.

This led her to what she felt was the next best thing - a sidekick to CeeC and a mentor over Baye. Good for self-esteem abi?

One strong Mercenary on twitter said he sometimes forgot Mercy was in the house. The unexpected eviction of Kidd kind of spoilt things too because the ship was gently building up by then. She realized herself after Kim Oprah told her things and the eviction of Whitemoney sent the message to her so clearly. She's still a finalists regardless, so I'm happy for her.

BTW, emotionally sentimental Nigerians didn't want her to repeat. Ceec's is being carried by her narrative and entertaining toxicity.

Nah, Mercy played the game as best as she could - with her reputation from Pepper Dem intact. The Kidd ship would have gone badly for her, Kidd wanted to nack her silly and Mercy was battling conji, Frodd rightly stopped her from doing what she would have regretted for years. The fact that Kidd didn't even bother mentioning her on stage when he was evicted but mentioned his main ship showed his priorities. At least he owned up to liking Erica.

Mercy would have still won,but no one saw Baye coming in good time. She was kinda distant in the house, and getting involved in the Soma/Angel/Doyin issue almost got her disrespected by Doyin who's frankly just a loudmouthed non-entity.

The Whitelambo ship was a miscalculation, Whitemoney isn't into romantic moments or naughtiness, so Mercy hoped to create drama by triggering him with kissing Pere constantly. When Whitemoney didn't fall for it, she slowed down.

The Percy thing couldn't have happened earlier, there was Pere's obsession with Alex and then Kimoprah. Pere thought he could chop Lambo quickly based on the flirting,but Lambo turned out to be a gamer.

Ironically, what would have triggered her would have been........the return of Tacha, but EndemolShine refused to pay her asking weekly fee which was probably in USD (they forgot she was in an international Reality TV show).

This Tacha would have been more refined, calculated, exposed, and intent on not repeating her mistakes in PD. She would have delivered drama,but it would be all acting, the girl has grown and is no longer reckless. Her bias for everything Ghanaian would have endeared her to Baye and Angel and she would have been a counter-force to Mercy and Venita with her unique brand of toxic behaviour.

Well, Mercy would leave tomorrow knowing one thing - her win in 2019 was no fluke. It's just that you can never fight a crowd alone and win, whether that crowd is right or wrong. And Nigerians can be a bizarrely determined crowd when they want to be.

Mercy's dress sense was what endeared me to her at first during Pepper Dem in 2019. She kept being called an mgbeke because of her Igbotic accent (yes, she struggles with English and I don't think that should be a deal breaker), but babe never for once appeared like those typical mgbeke that can't put an outfit together. She kept slaying. Even outside the house, none of the other girls can compete with her. Sometimes when I look like Tacha, I just know she's forcing the fashion thing.

Make we calm down dey call God, he's way beyond our sentiments. He's also not a partial entity. Kidd was right- Nigerians are too easily fooled. So it's the devil that's supporting the other 19 housemates abi?

I watched that particular incident. Infact it was from there Alex started joking about how Baye said she'll "win da maaney!" because SHE provoked Neo into an argument and then insulted Venita which blew up into an argument. People watching from their neighbors' windows were even hailing Baye for making Venita cry, whereas Venita was crying because she barely restrained herself from beating Baye to a pulp. That was the night Kidd closely observed Baye crying and then started clapping, saying "what a wonderful performance!".

The CeeC issue was clearly also her fault. Baye clearly started running amok after shots of alcohol and started attacking CeeC who of course has a sharper mouth. CeeC being an OG gamer saw it was getting messy and turned away, only to have her wig pulled and her neck choked by Baye who still went on to do same to Doyin and openly implied that she's trying to pull a Tacha script(this is probably when Tacha started supporting her). By week 2 she was a big enough irritant that almost everyone wanted her to leave. Like previous season, Princess complained that Baye's behaviour didn't add up because she was simply rude and provocative to everyone for NO reason.

It was Kidd and Angel that first clocked her.

Baye the next day started feigning ignorance of what she did. Everyone expected her to be disqualified and as with most anticipated disqualifications, arisers and defenders started to gather. Instead she was given strikes, and suddenly became the victim.

Egged on by Doyin, Baye simply kept up with insulting housemates until she badly insulted Pere who was trying to hear Kidd's side of the Moneypoint task disaster. It snowballed into Ike's extremely stupid and cruel act of damaging her stuff (triggered by her nasty insult of Seyi). Biggie highlighted the event as somehow being a plot between 4-5 grown men - and boom, the arisers army was born and Baye became an overnight cause. I still think Ike deserved disqualification (in typical stupidity worrying many Nigerians, another Ariser army started gathering for Ike as well!).

Nigerians LOVE underdog stories, and we also love trends. The smart housemates like Angel and Mercy knew something was wrong when Baye kept surviving week after week and Kidd, Seyi, Frodd,etc were leaving.

It's why i believe that while Baye will win, she's NOT a deserving winner in mindset, maturity,behaviour, and temperament. Neither was CeeC in 2018, and neither was Whitemoney this year. Mercy has played a clean game so far, but this show is about second chances and showing improvement, in the aspect and under different circumstances, the biggest improvements were undoubtedly found in CeeC and Adekunle.

These people came back better and more improved and are deserving winners, but we're dealing with Nigerians that voted Efe over Bisola and Tboss! That's how Buhari deceived millions of otherwise sensible people with a picture of drinking tea with sachet Milo and we've been in a black hole since!😒
