Luc Eymael ex coach of Stanley Nwabali, who terminated his contract with Chippa United is backing Morocco to beat Nigeria in tomorrow's semifinal clash.
‘They will lose to Morocco’. “They (Nigeria) will lose to Morocco,” Eymael told Flashscore
“Before the AFCON, DR Congo beat them (Nigeria), and they will be playing against a very good Morocco side, who are playing their best football so far.
“Morocco will be playing at home, the crowd will be behind them, the players know they have to do it (qualify), so it will not be an easy game for Nigeria.
“The game will not have a huge scoreline, but both teams will score, and Morocco will definitely qualify for the final.”
freedomtours: Portugal Visa appointment date for study was not open, work and that of other categories was opened. Top secret I will share with you guys are 1 No that Portugal embassy is getting overwhelmed by the high number of applications they are receiving, so very soon they want to start cutting down number of visa approval, I have been privy to observe some certain changes at the embassy presently, documents submitted to them for verification take weeks now before they send to NUC. I was not suprise they did not open portal for student Visa appointment booking this October, it is obvious they might start tightening their immigration laws just as countries like Poland did in the area of Visa approval and Appointment. These are my takes, if you are waiting for visa appointment the best approach nowbis to reach out to your sch to help you schedule study visa appointment by reaching out to the embassy, many schs have helped their prospective student in that regards. As the process is getting tighten any one looking for admission shd try and get his or her documents authenticated and legalize before ending of November and then apply for admission because that's the best period to apply for admission, yes there are no submissions appointment, but you can get Expres appointment to submit and legalize your documents on time and stand a better chance of getting admission with first attempt because that's when sch in Portugal give the highest number of admission and this will help to save extra application fee for you and applying on time help you to sort out appointment issues on time, those that apply early last year can attest to those fact. Lastly during your admission application proccess focuse on schs that aids their students in securing visa appointment date at the embassy thats the dynamics now, this is very important.
What are the schools you can mention that aids their students?
Oghene86: Wike should try and pretend he is a lawyer, the constitution of the country supercede any agreement, he should stop all that nonsense he goes around shouting agreement is agreement, since you have the supporters in Rivers State, go to another party and front your candidate that is not a mistake to contest against Fubara and leave us in peace.
bolaayenimo: You lack common sense and reading comprehension. Did the article favour Wike in anyway? Mods should ban you for accusing them of corruption
ogugwa1992: North-Central APC Forum rejects calls for Wike's resignation, warns against derailing FCT development
The North-Central All Progressives Congress, APC, Forum has opposed calls for the resignation of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.
The Forum also kicked against calls on President Bola Tinubu to sack the minister.
National Secretary of the APC, Senator Ajibola Basiru, recently asked Wike to resign his appointment as minister and concentrate on his obsession with the politics of Rivers State.
Basiru made the statement after Wike warned him against dabbling in the political affairs of Rivers State, where the FCT minister is engaged in a political battle with Governor Sim Fubara.
Some Nigerians, who feel displeased with Wike's activities in Rivers State, have also urged President Tinubu to sack him as FCT minister, or redeploy him to another ministry. The Ijaw National Congress, INC, West African Chapter, had urged Tinubu to redeploy Wike to the Ministry of Niger Delta.
Reacting to the developments in a statement by its Chairman, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, on Monday, the North-Central APC Forum said Wike should be left alone to continue his work in the FCT, which it described as part of the North-Central.
The Forum noted that since Wike's became minister of the FCT, the pace of development in the territory has improved with the execution of key infrastructure projects under his watch.
According to the Forum, calls for Wike's resignation, or his removal, amount to attempt to derail the development of the FCT, and throw away the gains recorded in the territory by the Tinubu administration.
The APC Forum stressed that it has no interest in the political crisis in Rivers State, as, according to it, it's only concern was the development of the FCT and by extension, the North-Central. The group equally said it has no interest to join issues with the APC leaders who have called for Wike's resignation.
But it warned those behind the calls to desist, to avoid mass protests in the FCT.
Parts of the statement read, "The North-Central All Progressives Congress, APC, Forum rejects calls for the resignation of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike. The minister is performing well in the FCT under an APC administration and we frown at such calls, especially as it concerns the development of the FCT, which is part of the North-Central.
"Some people stayed eight years as FCT minister without anything to show for it but under two years Wike has turned the FCT around. Yet some people who we believe are serving their selfish interests are calling for his resignation. This is highly condemnable and we will not allow it, even if the calls are coming from leaders of the party.
"It is wrong for anybody who is considered as a party leader to be calling for Wike's resignation on the grounds that he is not a member of the APC.
"We don't want to join issues with the persons that are making these calls but we advise them to back off.
"Wike is somebody that has added value to this administration, especially when it comes to infrastructural development in the FCT. It is offensive and deeply worrisome to us that people who are supposed to be leaders of the party, particularly the national secretary and the national chairman, are antagonizing him by asking him to resign.
"We believe that those making this call, as well as others calling for Wike's sack, do not mean well for President Bola Tinubu's administration. They also do not want the development of this country.
"As for us in the North-Central APC Forum, what we are after is the development of our region, and we know that Mr President is only interested in the development of the country, to which Wike is contributing a lot."
The Forum disclosed that it had already extended appreciation to Wike his infrastructural projects in the FCT.
"Last year we sent a commendation letter to the FCT minister for his developmental strides in the FCT, which we believe has impacted the development of the North-Central.
"We are warning these businessmen politicians to desist from distracting the FCT minister by calling for his resignation. We are not concerned with the issues in Rivers State and we are warning that even if they are collecting money to take sides in what is going on in Rivers, they should not use that to distract the minister of the FCT."
The Forum stressed that Wike contributed more to the victory of the APC in the 2023 presidential election than most of the party's leaders.
"None of them calling for his resignation contributed as much as Wike to the coming of this administration, even though he is not a member of the party.
"The national chairman and the national secretary know that they did not contribute as much as Wike to the emergence of the President Bola Tinubu administration. So they should not be saying that he is not a member of the party."
The North-Central APC Forum urged Wike to ignore the calls, and continue his work in the FCT.
"We urge the minister to ignore these calls, no matter where they are coming from, and continue developing the FCT," the statement added.

thomas2024: How can virtually everything about his childhood to his teenhood to his adulthood be forged
This viral photograph that Tinubu used in one of his autobiography as a young man, is actually an old photo of the late father of Nigerian comedian and content creator Cute Abiola (real name Abdulgafar Ahmad Oluwatoyin).
Mr. Abdulgafar Ahmad Oluwatoyin took this photo in the 1970s in a wedding event. It gained renewed attention when Cute Abiola recreated the outfit for his own birthday photoshoot in April 2025. This was how Tinubu's photo theft syndrome was exposed again after being exposed by Donald Duke for stealing his childhood photo which Tinubu used in same autobiography and tagged the stolen photo as "young Tinubu".
Psalmistproject: I have a very reliable source in the Government's inner circle that has informed me that WIKE'S matter has already been concluded and the official notice of his sack may be coming within weeks.
The problem is that there's a great resentment towards Wike by both the ruling party, opposition parties and some very influencial figures.
Most of his allies in the inner circle have started turning on him as none of them wants him to drag them down with him.
Mr President is however more interested in being in complete control of Rivers State other than Wike and this is what fubara is offering.
My pity is to those in the state assembly. They don't want to find out the soup that have been prepared for them if they don't align with fubara. I'm hearing the president is considering a lot of options including declaring another state of emergency which could last longer than the first.
nairalandankrah: ABUJA – President Bola Tinubu faces a political time bomb as APC heavyweights demand the immediate sacking of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, warning it could cost the party Rivers State and doom 2027 re-election hopes.
APC National Secretary Ajibola Basiru leads the charge, roaring for Wike to "resign now" over his impeachment war against Governor Siminalayi Fubara, branding the minister a non-member saboteur eroding party unity. Meanwhile, Coalitions like APC Leaders Forum fired off letters to Tinubu, accusing Wike of anti-party chaos that mocks protocols favoring Fubara's incumbency.
Rivers' oil wealth and Wike's iron grip on voters make dismissal a high-stakes gamble— defections could flip the Niger Delta to PDP, shattering Tinubu's southern firewall. Governors backing Fubara celebrate his defection as a "coup," but sacking Wike risks backlash from his grassroots machine still pledging 2027 loyalty.. Overall, Tinubu stays mum, balancing private pressure on both sides while APC fractures continue to widen.

This is very deep. Words from a true Sage.
This picture will go round and far within the US and beyond.
Interestingly, this is exactly how the leaders of other nations see Trump and US. Many of them, especially US allies, are actually scared to tell him. They are currently undermining him but covertly
Iran is lucky to have this Sage. He just invoked a powerful spiritual declaration against Trump and it shall eventually come to pass.
Unlike other leaders of this age, history and generations yet to be born will credit the Iranians Sage as the only courageous leader of his time who declared the end of the US era. And it eventually came to pass.
If it was in the past, US would have rallied its allies to attack Iran like it did with Sadam Hussein, Muamar Ghadaffi etc but this time, even the US military adviced him not to attack Iran because it will boomerang and Iran will retaliate. That US military can be concerned about retaliation is a sign that in reality balance of power has shifted.
Just imagine if Iran had no power of deterrent with its huge land mass, population and highly trained fiercely patriotic leaders and citizens, they would have been turned into another Gaza genocide case today while the world moves on. Smh
adenigga: The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has insisted that political power is earned through strength and strategic action, warning that Obio/Akpor Local Government Area remains a decisive force in Rivers State politics.
You will be saved before Easter
Wike also dismissed calls for his removal, stressing that the power to sack him lies solely with the President.
Wike spoke on Sunday during a thank-you visit to Obio/Akpor, where he addressed party leaders, traditional rulers, women, and youths.
PUNCH Online reports that the minister has been touring the state’s 23 local government areas to appreciate residents for their support in the 2023 elections and to canvass continued backing for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 polls.
Addressing the gathering, Wike stressed that politics should be guided by interest, not sentiment.
“There is no sentiment, there is no emotion. Politics is an interest; the interest of your people. Power is not given; we struggle for it. After all, if Donald Trump did not have power, would he go to Venezuela to pick a president? He wouldn’t. Because he has power, that’s why he can act,” Wike said.
“So for the people of Obio/Akpor, we have the power to dictate who becomes governor. All these people commenting from the sidelines, ask them if their local government, which produced only 5,000 votes, can challenge one that produced 40 per cent of the votes? Let us see how it will work.
“We will use our strength to punish them. Nobody has become governor in this state without Obio/Akpor making the pronouncement. Nobody has become the senator of Rivers East without Obio/Akpor deciding. So, if you like abusing us, after abusing us, come and look for the votes—and we will punish you with the votes.”
The former Rivers State governor also dismissed calls for his removal from office, stressing that such decisions rest solely with the President.
“Don’t bother about people who say ‘sack him.’ If my appointor believes I cannot offer anything again, he has the right, not that you should tell him. I am proud that the people of Obio/Akpor, the people of Rivers State, and Nigerians know we have not disappointed them in the FCT,” he said.
Earlier, the Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Council, Gift Worlu, praised Wike’s political influence, describing him as a major asset to the council, the state, and the nation. He commended Wike’s performance across various offices, including chairman, chief of staff, governor, and minister, and stressed the council’s loyalty to his leadership.
“When it comes to who should be President of Nigeria in 2027, we know where to go. As for the governorship of Rivers State, we know where not to go. We will not go the way of ingratitude, disappointment, or disloyalty,” Worlu said.
Also speaking, the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Amaewhule, reaffirmed the legislature’s support for Wike and President Tinubu.
“On behalf of the RSHA, we assure you of our prayers and support as you continue to support Mr President. Don’t bother about detractors. The real people of Nigeria know your worth. They know you are helping the President deliver on the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Amaewhule said.
The visit comes against the backdrop of renewed political tension in Rivers State. On Thursday, the Rivers Assembly, led by Amaewhule, formally commenced impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu, over alleged gross misconduct.
The Majority Leader, Major Jack, presented a notice signed by 26 lawmakers citing alleged charges, including extra-budgetary spending of over N800 billion without legislative approval, withholding funds allocated to the Assembly Service Commission, demolition of the Assembly complex, and defiance of Supreme Court rulings on legislative autonomy. A separate notice was also read against the deputy governor for allegedly conniving in unconstitutional expenditures.
Amaewhule announced that the notices would be served within seven days, in line with the Constitution.
The development marks a renewed escalation in the protracted political crisis in Rivers State, stemming from the fallout between Governor Fubara and his predecessor, Wike. Previous impeachment attempts in 2023 and 2025 were halted by presidential interventions, and a state of emergency was declared by President Bola Tinubu.
BondRiv: They know Fubara is guilty, hence why they are running all over the place. The legitimacy of the lawmakers has been settled by the Supreme Court. Any useless judge that entertains such a matter should be punished by the NJC.
As for impeachment, no court can stop the legislature from performing this constitutional duty.
Fubara knows he has committed impeachable offences, hence his attempt to stall the process. This was why he bombed the Assembly building the last time with fellow terrorists like Edison Ehie.
The impeachment process must go on. Our laws must be obeyed. Fubara should resign or be impeached.
Fubara is a despot - The Supreme Court A joke taken too far - The Court of Appeal A tyrant - The Federal High Court
Lovelink1991: As the political crises in river state take another stage the governor of river state Sim Fubara has come out and issue a threat to the House of Assembly members who wants to impeached him even after the peace agreement they sign with the president.
