kamal1234:I heard ny neighbor's dog with rabies infection bit someone last night, I am certain you are the one affected, please check into a mental home before the thing becomes irreversible. Idiotic and stupid slowpoke. |
This is the commitment and promise I need from him. He will do as he promised because his words is as good as money in the bank. |
Today, more than 54 years after we got our independence and 16 years since our return to democracy, the walk to true change has started. We have toiled, sweated and worked hard for this victory. We refused to give up because the work of building the Nigeria of our dreams is not to be taken for granted. It is out of our love for this country and the belief in what it can be that we went across the length and breadth of Nigeria and sacrificed so much for this victory. I want to thank young Nigerians especially for this victory. You have been with us from the very beginning. Many of you left your jobs to work for the campaign, contributed your money and your time, volunteered in your areas and brought the innovation and energy that comes with youthfulness to bear on the outcome. This is your victory. You have chosen to vote for a Nigeria that sees you as not a Northerner or a Southerner, not as a Christian or a Muslim but as a Nigerian. You have chosen to vote for a departure from a nation that was decaying, that did not give you hope and pride. You have chosen to vote for change and we promise you that we will not be disappointed. We know that your hopes are high: a country that is safe and peaceful, a country that is without corruption, a country that produces jobs for you, a country that gives you the environment for your business to thrive. I promise you that the APC government led by me will deliver these to you. We will ensure that we meet and exceed your aspirations. This government is your government and every decision we shall take shall be to give you a positive future. We shall also run a country that will listen to you, engage with you and take corrections from you. This is because the task of building the Nigeria of our dreams cannot be done by us alone. We need you too. We need you to support us and we also need you to admonish us when we make missteps. This shall be a government for all Nigerians and we shall listen to everyone. We thank you once again for your support and we look forward to a great future together. God bless you and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. General Mohammadu Buhari. President-Elect Federal Republic of Nigeria |
Iolite:the money they stole from 4 banks can't be that small and they won't have shared the loot so fast. |
This is simply eye-service by Kashamu to Buhari " Baba please don't allow Obasanjo poison your mind about me to send me to USA to go collect my Good Citizen Award". |
CHAIRMAN, South West Organisation and Mobilisation Committee of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and senator-elect, Chief Buruji Kashamu, has congratulated the president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, on his victory at the poll. In a statement issued on Tuesday, Kashamu described Buhari’s victory as well-deserved and hard fought, adding that “majority of Nigerians have spoken and we must all respect their wish. “As a loyal party man, I campaigned for my party and candidate to the best of my ability. Now that the elections have been won and lost and Nigerians have spoken, we must respect the wish of the majority and move on with our lives, since Nigeria is greater than our personal interests and political affiliations.” Kashamu hailed President Goodluck Jonathan for not interfering with the electoral system and for conceding defeat, adding that “with his conduct and exemplary leadership, he has secured for himself a place in the annals of history as an elder statesman and a true democrat.” http://www.tribune.com.ng/news/news-headlines/item/33251-kashamu-congratulates-buhari |
They allowed PDP rigging machinery have a field day to do their thing believing the rigging will only be for the PRESIDENTIAL POLL since they are all helping a brother across the Delta. Now the breeze don blow, fowl yansh don dey show and truth coming out small small. APGA suffered same faith in Abia and Anambra and they caused themselves defeat in places they would have won effortlessly give the PDP one feet they will go 10miles. The moment INEC announced the reversal to manual accreditation, they went all out to steal as much ballot papers as possible and thumbprinted across the board for their party candidates. When a Stella Oduah and Buruji Kashamu will earn the accolade of DISTINGUISH SENATOR then it means the PDP has no place in the CHANGE MANTRA of the new regime coming in. |
The battle for the lone Enugu-East senatorial seat between former governor of the state and candidate of the People for Democratic Change (PDC), Chimaraoke Nnamani and Senator Gilbert Nnaji of the PDP assumed a frightening dimension Wednesday as supporters of the former wuo trouped out to demonstrate against INEC's declaration of Nnaji as the winner were roundly teargassed by soldiers and policemen, while some were reportedly arrested. The former governor who had equally led thousands of people on a protest match round the metropolis on Monday, declared another round of protest which he tagged 'Occupy Enugu', Wednesday leading out yet another overwhelming crowd of supporters to the headquarters of Enugu North council near the popular Ogbete market. They were however dispered by gun-wielding soldiers and policemen who gave them serious chase up to Obiagu round about. Several loads of teargas cannisters were fired at the rampaging crowd, leading to a near stampede at the market as traders scampered for safety. But, Senator Gilbert Nnaji who reacted to the mass protest said his victory over former governor of Enugu state, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani in the Enugu East senatorial contest was not in doubt. The lawmaker, who defeated Nnamani and two other candidates in the senatorial contest last Saturday, said there was no way the former governor could have won the election because while Nnamani concentrated on radio jingles, he, Nnaji was doing open and underground campaign. He said: “If Nnamani is claiming that he won the election, let him come and prove how he did it. You people can check the ballot boxes and see if there is any evidence of falsification. All he is doing is to try and misinform the public. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/soldiers-ex-gov-nnamanis-supporters-clash-over-enugu-senate-seat/205661/ |
Oga Police can't find the Bags of Cash stolen from the Banks or they are kept in Oga's Bedroom as Exhibit. |
The police in Benin have paraded a 35-year-old man, Etopa Sadiq, in connection with the violent bank robbery carried out on 26 March, 2015, at Owo, Ondo state. Edo State Commissioner of Police, Samuel Adegbuyi, who paraded the robbery suspects with 27 others before journalists in Benin on Wednesday, said the suspect was arrested at Ibilo, in Akoko-Edo local government area of the state after a gun battle between operatives of the Command and the suspected bank robbers. “On 26/03/2015, the command received information that some robbery gang had attacked some banks and police stations at Owo in Ondo state where unspecified amount of money, arms and ammunition were carted away by the hoodlums,” he said. Adegbuyi further explained that after the robbery operation, the hoodlums headed towards Ibilo in Edo State where police operatives of the command intercepted them in a gun battle which made some of them to flee and abandoned various arms and ammunition carted away from the attacked police stations in Owo. He announced that one suspect, Etopa Sadiq, was arrested and that efforts were on top gear to arrest the fleeing suspects. Items recovered from the fleeing robbery suspects include seven AK47 assault riffles, three Riot gunners, two SMG guns, two Lar riffles, 4 T06 riffles, one Scorpion rifle, one Berretta rifle, one Chief Revolver pistol, two pump action guns and one Strasser rifle. Also recovered were police uniforms, computer set, assorted rifle magazines and cartridges, Police Crash helmets, Decoder, International passport, Audi Station Wagon car and others. The arrested suspect, Etopa Sadiq, who suffered a fracture on his right arm from gunshot, however denied being an armed robber, but said he was a victim of stray bullet from the scene of the robbery. He said he was wrongly arrested at Ibilo on his way to Okene his hometown where he was going to seek herbal treatment for his gunshot injury. Among 27 other suspects paraded were armed robber, murder, kidnapping and illegal possession of firearms suspects, cultism, defilement, indecent assault and rape. http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2015/04/01/edo-police-parade-owo-bank-robbery-suspect/

new2020:Craziness is imbibed in your lineage if you can't compare the difference in the percentage of accredited voters and the total vote cast for PDP alone In the 2 regions. Look at enugu with APC having candidates in all electives post in the state and you think only 12k people voted APC compared to the 550k of the PDP. PDP had 1.4m in Rivers and amaechi a sitting governor could not get 100k votes was Kano likethat |
It is the rigged result that is confusing most people they assumed the 99% difference between GEJ and GMB is a reflection of the mindse of easterners. PDPs stealing of the vote cast for APC in the SS and SE did so much injustice to the unity and disversity of the people of Nigeria. They caused huge loss to the positioning of both regions in the heirarchy of leadership in Nigeria. Now the Leadership of the national assembly will be shared solely between the entire north and the south west solely. It's a hard lesson for people of the south east for allowing the massive rigging in their enclave because they thought they were helping their cousin from the delta. |
raumdeuter:PDP didn't give them even one REP. |
Texcoco:Yeah, you pulled so much weight the presidency was decided by your coalition of weight pullers. You won a REP seat in Lagos in an area populated by Igbos and dominated by OPC /aggrived/anti tinubu yorubas. With the persistent and permanent movement of the Presidency to Lagos and the huge dollarization of Lagos by jonaTAN I think he deserved a Senate seat for all his sleeplessness and wastefulness. Lagos is still and will always remain APC Nothing worth celebrating for the PDP in the SW aside Ekiti so what is the issue here. For APC to sweep ondo clean hmmm. Watch as Fayose is impeached and made accountable soon |
Raiders:Or George Akume. APC winning Benue is such a huge surprise to everyone within the party hierarchy. Thanks to Gemade and Akume. Watch the Police IG and the military behave properly on the 11th of April. They no born them well to do as they did last Saturday knowing the next commander in chief already have enough grudges against them. Watch AIT and NTA start withdrawing their praiseworshipping of the PDP and GEJ from today. |
eCollynzo:Hallucination is when you feel the massive rigging did for GEJ in the South South and South East matter to anyone. Despite the huge population of Hausas in Enugu PDP is telling us APC could not muster 10000 despite fielding candidates for every elective post in the state. You guys just taught the Northerners to always use up their number of registered voters during an election instead of accredited voters in 2019. Watch Kano pull 5million votes in 2019 with APC controlling the police and the military like the PDP used them this year . Its a vicious cycle and the pendulum have swing to the other side watch it remain there for a very long time. |
ugojamali:You're hallucinating if you think a first termer will be made Senate President. No body can benefit where they didn't sow. She can decamp all she want but she can't even be a principal officer in the senate not even a committee chair. |
ugojamali:Pray and fast she remain in the PDP when she get to the Senate. Many like her will defect once they are inaugurated. The core North and the SW will always remain APC for as long as Buhari, Tinubu, Fashola, Atiku, Kwankwaso and others remain within the Party. Nigeria just got itself a south african type ANC in APC. It will remain in power for a long time. The PDP will never remain same again. The campaign of calumny and mama piss insults will make it dead to an average northerner and Fayose's reign of terror in Ekiti will make the PDP less appealing to any Swesterner. The best the PDP can be is to remain a regional party in the South South and South East and continue deluding itself as a christian party since that is what matter most to them. The implosion it predicted for the APC just got blown in their faces. I'm sure Okuigbe doyin dint hear his marabou well when he announced the APC will die within a year, I guess the marabou said PDP because not even 1 Rep for the PDP in the core north means total annihilation. |
Raiders:You're quite right and really I can't but marvel at the way we have evolved. This election will go down in history as the turning point in Nigeria's reawakening and leap into being a real GIANT in Africa. The end to impunity and rot is here and I'm so glad we chose this path. |
Politics is all about the choice we make individually and collectively. The Igbos are seen as astute businessmen and women and really need a lot of tutoring in political sophistry and education. For Anambra Central people to choose a neophyte going to the senate for the first time to rep them in the Senate over a Two-term senator shows how naïve and politically unaware they are, even if Ngige's APC lose the General Election as thought by the Igbos, they would have benefitted with him being a Principal officer of the Senate even under a PDP government and probably be in contention for Senate Presidency if APC wins. The Senate Presidency by right should be zoned to the South since the Presidency is zoned to the North. Amaechi is fighting tooth and nail to get Magnus Abe into the Senate to fulfil that. It would have been between Ngige and Abe because the South west is holding the Vice presidential ticket. But the Igbos in Anambra central voted against their own best choice because he belonged to an Amala and a Boko Haram party. Whose lost now? APGA as a Party have outrightly and foolishly rendered itself impotent by the foolishness of campaigning for GEJ at every political rallies and all their candidates carrying the picture of GEJ in all their posters and singing his praise in every rally. You're inadventently telling your supporters especially unelightened ones both parties are the same which will cause electoral loss to one of the two parties but with the one holding the bigger ticket as the most likely to benefit. A lesson in history with the Alliance for Democracy adopting Obasanjo's PDP as their candidate led to the defeat of their 5 governors who were unfortunate to have the Presidential and Gubernatorial Elections holding same day, they all lost except Tinubu then who was tactical by not openly campaigning for Obasanjo in Lagos. Lagos had most void votes then for the presidential election because many still picked AD for president with Tinubu as Governor. That episode led to the end of AD in the South West and Tinubu became the colossus he became today. APGA shot itself in the foot because they were favoured to win all National Assembly Tickets in both Anambra and Abia States but their unwholesome alliance killed the dream and hurt the aspiration and expenses of their candidates. When Alex Otti openly hobnob with GEJ in Aba during groundbreaking event at Alaoji a week to to the general election, he send an endorsement announcement to his supporters that " the PDP and APGA are same" confusing his party's would be voters to vote the Umbrella in the Next election but reserve my own vote till April 11th. The open endorsememt of the PDP will make most APGA agents to close their eyes to all shenanigans of PDP thugs and fraudsters who will foolishly think they will only rig for Jonathan now but the big reward will be the gubernatorial when the PDP will support them too to perfect their own rigging. How gullible they were, the PDP just rode on APGA's back to make itself more relevant and on lifesupport till 2019. I listened to Dr. Ikudife during GMB's last visit to the South East where he read a great speech and reel out loads of Demands of Ndigbos. Audu Ogbeh who represented GMB promised to ensure the delivery of those mandates if the Igbos join up with the CHANGE APC was bringing. But what did the Igbos do? They gave 98% massively rigged votes to their COUSIN across Delta who they saw was not enjoying the support and endorsement of the two biggest voting blocs in the country the NW and the SW in their characteristics boastful and chestbeating belief they have the number to return GEJ all alone even without the south south vote self. With less than 3% vote for the APC in the South East, how do the Igbos want to push their own Agenda in the next Government headed by the Party they openly despised. No Zone is exclusive and strong enough to deliver the Presidency by itself, the Yorubas learnt that in 1999. I'm hurt that the likes of Ngige, Izunazo and others who were treated like outcast by their own would have been part of the National Assembly but then they will be well compensated but it is the lost of the Igbo nation and they just shut the door on their 2019 or 2023 Presidential dream because the APC will remain the dominant party in Nigeria for a very very long time because they are now condemned to deliver more now than ever. ...... pendy79. |
abokikhalifa:Leave them to be suffering and smiling. |
POPdecorator:The world expects Nigeria to rid itself of this clueless and inept corruption personifying government. |
taharqa:Are you just daft or just ignorantly stupid. If yahoo news page carries the article on their homepage and I clearly indicate it there as yahoo news and not yahoo are you so daft not to know the rationale behind the title. I should assume all articles on BBC or CNN news website or news must be written by their staff before they feature it. Some of you PDP supporters are just so badly ignorant stupid daft and unenlightened. Go get informed and stop exhibiting stupidity. |
franchizy:God punish all the teachers that destroyed your English this way. Better vote CHANGE so your children don't end up useless like what you turn out to be. |
JackBaueress:okay thanks, I'm not bothered again about it. I've served the ban and 5days after I still can't create new posts. I'm deactivating my account on Sunday after the DECLARATION of GMB so make them.dey do as they like. |
The CHANGE is just FEW HOURS AWAY. Where will the VOTE FOR JONATAN BE COMING FROM? I think GEJ should just save himself the DISGRACE OF LOSING WOEFULLY. With the DEFECTION OF THE DEPUTY GOVERNOR OF ONDO STATE, THE PDP CALCULATION IN BOTH ONDO AND EKITI HAVE SCATTERED INTO OBLIVION. I hope the SE and SS folks see the MASS MOVEMENT else THEY MAY LOSE THE SENATE PRESIDENCY. |
