I use all of the 3.

They are all lithium ion cells, either cylindrical or pouch, they all come with a nominal voltage of 3.7v. li-ion cells don't come in only metal shells, for example inbuilt phone batteries.

swollen batteries are mainly caused by letting the battery sit in a low voltage condition for a while, will advise that you dispose of them as they are no longer useful or redeemable

So guys I’m torn between buying 15kw from felicity or for local coupling.

Do know felicity will offer at least 2-5yrs warranty on theirs and the coupled one well I’ll have to be forcing the person to help me should incase issues arises with the battery.

Someone posted here that felicity does not offer actual power of what Dey claim to be the power

But I asked a frnd and he told me yes it’s true for his 10kw bt his 15kw offers actual value for it.

Question now is . Is he right about that and those that claim to say felicity doesn’t offer it’s actual power have any tested the 15kw own.

Want to give a good advice to my uncle with respect to what will work for him best.

Thanks a lot man. Will find time to go and raise complaint at the shop where I bought it since they gave me 1 year warranty. That blinking light is the only thing stressing me out.

I believe that blinking light comes on when the battery is in absorb mode because the same thing happens in my tbh inverter. If I may ask, what is the capacity of your battery and for how long does the blinking light stay on?

ok, if you are the diy type, you can open it up, most likely the big capacitor in it has failed, but if it is the type that uses an adapter, you can check with another adapter of the same voltage and current rating if that is the culprit

Get a multimeter and measure the voltage of the solar panel at the input terminal, a picture of the terminal will also be ok

What are the solar panels connected to? There are many ways to cut down your electricity bills which running selected loads on solar through a timer is one of. Using energy saving appliances and cutting down on the use of unnecessary electronics is another option

if you are running on a lean budget, then powering the ac should be out of the equation or else you will be looking at spending up to 3m just for inverter and batteries alone

A 3kVA 24Vdc Hybrid inverter and
280Ah 24Vdc diy Lithium bank will do the trick.
Total cost less than N1m.

let's say your load is 300w, to power such for 24hrs is 7200wh, you will need 400ah battery at 24v, you can make do with with a 200ah 24v lifepo4 battery with around 2kw in solar panels which will cost way more than your budget

You can only get a system to power DC bulbs with phone charging with your budget, especially now that prices of things are increasing daily.

I would have expected like 40w or so for 2 multipluses in parallel - perhaps these Multiplus IIs are more efficient - it has been a long time I measured such parameters.

I am sure team 'all transformer based inverters are energy hogs with high idle consumption' will be going red right now.

if you are still insisting on 24v, I think you will be better off using 2 80a mppt charge controllers, one CC will be great if you are going for 48v system

Bros when you select lithium battery mode on charge controller it's automatically selects absorption and float take it or leave it am not here to argue.

So me editing my absorb and float setting on my inverter or charge controller don't know that abi. What now happens when the charge controller does not have lithium profile? Try to read up on the absorption and float settings of the inverters and batteries you install.
