Bankyshinani: Good afternoon everyone, please I need solution to this my little problem..I have 6 450w solar panels on my roof which consist of 3 halfcut and 3 straight panels. The highest I have got during the peak hours is 1.5kw buh I think I should be getting more.. I guess the straight cut solar panels are the ones restricting the performance of the halfcut ones buh I may be wrong?.... Please, gurus in the house kindly help out? looks like you are restricted by the default charge current of the inverter, try increasing the charge current and see if there will be an increase in power generation, also try putting on some power hungry appliances during peak sun hours to see if there is improvement in power generation |

Topper33: Hello My people
Please I discovered that my Inverter (itel hybrid 3.6kva) no longer charges from the grid. When ever I turn on the breaker, I get error 3 and the inverter stops. From the manual, it states the error is Bus Voltage Low
This occurs only when I turn on the grid breaker while attempting to charge. Charging from the panel is working fine
Please can this be fixed or where can I take it to for repairs... Would appreciate feedback based on your experience.... Thanks I don't think there is anything wrong with your inverter, what is your mains voltage? If your inverter is in ups mode, it will trip off if the voltage goes below 180v |

When I try connect to solar it not bring light at all.
How do I reupve it please. Does the charger change from green to red when you plug it in to the mains? |

codemaster2much: Hi everyone,I need help reviving a HenryLFE 12V 150Ah battery drained to 10.24V. The BMS is locked and the Bluetooth signal has disappeared (it won't show up on any phone/app).What we've tried:14.6V 20A LiFePO4 Charger: Won’t start; doesn't "see" the battery.Parallel Jump: Tried jumping with another battery, but the BMS won't wake up or allow the charger to take over. Help the parallel jump may not work because of the inrush current, you need a "dumb" charger to wake it or use your solar panel early in the morning before the sun intensity is high. You can also use a 15v TV or laptop adapter to wake it |

fhranchez: Hi all goodday, I have a battery pack that depleted to 0% and now the BMS won't wake. I tried using a spare lead acid battery to wake it but it won't charge afterwards. Now it can't even wake the BMS any longer.
I've tried a lot of things and the BMS isn't coming on. The only thing I'm yet to try is the standalone 12v lithium charger.
I'm thinking of opening the battery and charging the battery by bypassing the BMS.
Name of BMS: JK BMS
Any solution is welcomed please I'm tired already is the BMS Bluetooth enabled? |

Whytehandy: Good evening
Pls can you give a review and user experience of this Oraimo induction cooker?
I also want to get an induction cooker but just a little confused on which product to go for.
I will appreciate your response So far so good, the cooker has been serving me very well. The control is analogue not digital with different energy levels. I mainly use the 1.1kw and 1.3kw option for cooking and frying which are super fast. The cooker goes off and on when you select a lower wattage than 1kw. I also use a qasa rice cooker for rice and beans |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Penuelseun(m): 9:30am On May 03 |
Unfaized: After usage for a while I think it's important to put this out there; Induction cooker is great, but not a replacement for gas or infrared. From personal experience, the only major advantages are energy saving and almost zero heat in your kitchen.
The heat (Citing Dayo), is not evenly distributed compared to gas or infrared. It's more focused centrally which is not ideal for some cooking. I understand this is as a result of coil size.
Pot contact surface area to coil size ratio matters for heat distribution and effective cooking, which means different pot sizes will not cook the same.
Stir frying is almost impossible because a shift in contact will result in inefficient cooking.
I have a lot to say but I no get strength. Bottom line is these our portable induction stoves are not superior to the alternatives. Besides energy saving, don't expect magic. mine is the oraimo induction cooker, the coil size is fairly large |

EMuyi1: My senior colleagues in the house.
I bought Cworth 1.3kw 12v 100amp Lifepo4 Battery, it doesn't charge more than 13.2v and on the charge ctrller it's showing 101AH, and it drains so fast in less than 2hrs when full with a load of only 45w rechargeable fan.
What could be the problem.
Many thanks for the response I'd get. looks like it is not getting a full charge, what are you using to charge it, solar or grid, if solar how many watts panels? List of your setup |

Technology Market › Re: Diy Lithium Ion Like-minds by Penuelseun(m): 9:59pm On Apr 26 |
cutefy: Quick question.
Do you have to balance the cells first before assembling them together? If yes, how did u balance them?
If there's no need to balance them, does it mean, you can just join the cells together without balancing them while expecting the BMS to do the balancing?
Lastly, does the BMS features active balancing?
Sorry for the plenty questions you can balance them yourself or wait for the BMS to balance them which may take a long time like a week, your BMS balance speed also depends on the inbuilt balance current. To balance them yourself, you connect all the cells in parallel and charge them together to 3.65v, or take a faster route, you setup the cells normally, charge them until one of the cells get to around 3.55v, then start charging the cells individually until they all get to around 3.62v, but this second method requires constant monitoring |

Dabss: You guys are over estimating his power needs please. There is no way he will be charging 100 phones at a time. Even if he is charging at full capacity the phones won't all start charging at the same time so some will already be full. A 2.5kva inverter is more than enough and I think his best option will be a mobile power station that can support at least 2000W solar input. Baba, phone charging is no small business o especially if you are in a busy or student area, I have a client who started with about 20 phones using a 3000w satchet psw inverter with 24v 100ah battery and 2pcs 455w solar panels and 60a powmr charge controller, he used it for less than 2 months before needing an upgrade as the inverter cannot keep up with his load. Now he has changed the inverter to 4.2kw with 2 extra 455w solar panels, but the power still goes off in the evening during periods of low sunshine as his load is now nearing 2kw |

WhiteAngels001: First of all, I appreciate your contributions on this platform honestly, I'm very confident that with people like you actively educating poorly informed ignoramuses like us on this subject matter of solar energy, we are bound to make a better buying decision.
Secondly, just like you rightly pointed, I don't have 100 phones to charge daily, however, I intend to set up a phone charging set up at very busy and central point where people come to charge for a fee, so I estimate that I might likely get I'll to 100 people coming to charge, but that may not necessarily be realistic, however, it's better to be over prepared than otherwise hence my statement.
Lastly, I have a couple of vendors trying so hard to sell me the cola solar 2000 as the best solution for carrying a 200l deep freezer and a phone/power bank charging station but having read many of the takes here, I felt very indifferent about the suggestion hence my question.
I apologize for asking the same questions that have probably been treated here when I wasn't active here, I just don't want to make any bad buying decisions. Kindly pardon my excesses. Get a 4.2kw inverter with at least 5kwh battery and around 6pcs 600w solar panels if you really mean business as you will be pulling upward of 1kw on a good day, also to cover future expansion, don't let someone that has no practical experience and only depends on chatgpt to mislead you. There are no shortcuts in solar, you get what you pay for |
