Lithium battery does not have settings for absorption and float, it just one setting, if it is pwm set both settings the same but most mppt has direct setting for lithium battery

Oga lithium battery has two charge settings, bulk which is CC-CV and float which comes up when your battery is fully charged. Leaving your lithium battery in a high state of charge always is detrimental to the health of your battery in the long run

They both uses "120A JBD bms" as he stated.

Absorb should be 13.8v while float should be 13.6v, you can contact their office, they should be able to set the inverter for you before shipping

since you are in Lagos, you should get it directly from there office so that the settings can be edited for you, you don't need the external display if you have the correct settings uploaded at the point of purchase

Boss, finally got Watts Meter, attached contain running watts readings from two devices.

Binatone Cool Guide display 156W, while Watts Meter display 79.5W both are the running watts.

Considering the Fridge is rated 0.9a with 220v - 240v, which device reading should be correct?

I will believe the cool guard to be on the safe side, why don't you plug in the meters differently to see if you get a different result

The toroidal transformers are said to also have lower conversion losses, hence more efficient too.
Because the standard transformer inverter is already consuming about 50W just to stay on, then goes ahead to add more overhead via loses during conversion.

the tbb has a hybrid version for around 105k, it is low voltage because the inbuilt controller is pwm. I have not used or operated the Felicity before

The Felicity 1.5Kva 12v sells for less than 125K from credible sources boss - this is a smart inverter with fully flexible voltage and LVD settings in the box.

It may be deliberate unfairness to compare 'company price' of one item with 'JUMIA price' of the other especially also comparing 1.2Kva TBB with 1.5Kva Felicity.

Anyways, whoever has need can pickup the inverters they find fits their needs best.

The 83k is also jumia price. I will still choose tbb over Felicity

I have been following this TBB matter with some interest.

I do not know what special benefits the TBB has but Felicity sell fully user programmable units all the way from 1.5Kva to 10kva. Below 5kva there are 12v and 24v models. The ability to program your inverter to your taste comes fully available out of the box.

Apart from very good after sales service, you can set flexible charge voltages (absorb and float) and even flexible LVD on these Felicity units making them suitable for lead acid and Lithium.

The above should satisfy entry level needs robustly - I do not know if there is any extra advantage to these dumber seeming TBBs? Could it be price perhaps?

Price for 1 as the Felicity 12v 1.5kva sells for around 170k on jumia while the tbb 1.2kva sells for just 83k. The inverter is fully compatible with either fld or sld batteries out of the box while you only need to go their office to edit the voltage if you are planning to incorporate lithium batteries. You can also buy the external display meter to edit for around 40k if you have the extra cash

It started in the year 2016 with 2x150AH 12V SMF LA Ba3s which were decommissioned in the year 2020 following decline in storage capacity. Currently running on 2x100AH 12V LIFEPO4 Ba3s courtesy @Juo,which started 2years ago and today celebrating 2years of use.I must say Lunar energy is sweet as I run all equipment completely offgrid.........

Chinese people and fake product, why sell a PWM controller disguised as MPTT.

You should get someone who knows about lithium to do these settings for you. Max charging voltage of a 24v lithium setup should be 27.6v at 3.45v per cell, while float can be at 27.2. Better yet get an mppt controller and reconfigure your panels in a 2s3p configuration

I have a 1200watt solar panel at 24v, 100A charge controller and a 5kw felicity lithium battery at 24v.

I installed these a couple days ago, although the sun inst stable my light has been on 24/7 since then with most applies working during the day.

The problem I have now is the battery won't charge above the solar panel voltage to attain full charge, the highest the battery ever charged is 27v, that's like 60 percent charge I think. I think the moment the panel voltage equals the battery voltage it stops charging.

What can I do about this.

What settings are your charge controller set to? Also in what configuration are your panels arranged to?

I chatted them on WhatsApp but they said "Cyber System Monitor" has some of the features I mentioned, while "Vison Lite Monitor System" can be used to program params.

So I deduced, perhaps it's both device that can give the needed features.

I asked myself if I must get those display meters/monitors to get what I want.

But on afterthought, I remembered (Luminous Optimus 1100VA 12V) can equally give the first, second, third features listed at a lesser price if you combined the price of tbb + display meter/monitors.

Then I was asking myself if tbb route is worth it just for the sake of the fridge.

I read some reviews online where user complained that "Luminous Optimus 1100VA 12V" is a bit noisy during usage, coupled with the fact that it's rated 924W so still don't know if it would carry the fridge posted earlier as that's the only appliance that I am considering.

Although "Elepaq Sv2200 1.2kva" could not carry the fridge but I know elepac overrate they Gen capacity reasons best known to them.

Please when you were using the tbb 1.2kv, did you get those device(s) alongside?

No, I didn't get those devices, I went directly to their office, told them what I wanted and they programed the inverter appropriately

You can trigger equalization voltage yourself by raising the battery voltage to between 15.5v and 16v for about 3hrs maybe monthly depending on usage. It is not a must for it to be stated there

small tbb inverters do not have any display on them, but they sell external display meter through which you can edit the settings and look at the inverter information. Read it can be integrated online through raspberry pi.

Mine is 220 - 240v, 0.9A & Maximum Wattage of Lamp 2W as attached here.

the running wattage of my fridge is around 150w while the surge is 520w which is almost X4 of the running wattage.
According to the picture you posted, the running wattage of your fridge should be around 195w with the surge going up to around 800w which any decent 1.2kva inverter should chest comfortably. That is the reason I suggested the Tbb as I am sure it will serve you.
