This is Nigeria, not Kenya... May be the achievements of a local government here in Nigeria is different from what you sld get in comparison to Kenya... An achievement is still an achievement... Truth about all these is... Nigerians will never be satisfied with whom ever is in power... Before OBj came in, that was how y'all farted and shit happiness around... when he was in power y'all started farting and shitting faults and all... same with Gej... and twld be same with the next president who ever the bum that would be... Ewo ni temi... Lemme save my strength and push through the day...

OtunbaJega:
Who is GEJ?..A local government chairman in Nigeria?

Cos here in Kenya, these so called acheivements are that of a local government chairman ....
FashionRe: Which Hand Is Right To Wear Wristwatch? by percyoats(m): 10:52am On Dec 22, 2014
I wear it on any wrist... depending on how am spending my day... If am hanging out with friends, no work or just leisure, I feel it more fashionable for me to wear on my right wrist... Mostly though, its on my left wrist... I think this should be a matter of choice... However, to increase the durability of the watch and prevent scratching and all... a lesser used hand would be appropriate... which of cos also depends on whether ur a lefty or righty smiley
Forum GamesRe: Test Your IQ With This Brain Teaser by percyoats(m): 2:23pm On Dec 17, 2014
Nope... twice
1st measurement = 4 & 4
2nd measurement = 2 & 2

I do not need the weight to divide into groups.
neoapocalypse:
Wrong , you'll need to use the balance 3 times to arrive at your answer with this method. Try again
Forum GamesRe: Test Your IQ With This Brain Teaser by percyoats(m): 7:32pm On Dec 16, 2014
I already provided the answer to this riddle... like u said one question each... which means, u have two questions but can only use one on either. So logical u know who is who with ur first question from the 1st Sister and then u use ur 2nd to know where to go.from the 2nd sister

Namzy:
Been answering this question since my jss3 and you all failed it. The riddle says ask one question and you all are asking to find out the liar from the truthful twin. If you find out who is who congrats but you still have not gotten to where you are going and remember its one question which you have exhausted. Still waiting for the person to answer this riddle.
Hint ask them a question that will make them point in the same direction. Just Gave you expo.
Forum GamesRe: Test Your IQ With This Brain Teaser by percyoats(m): 7:22pm On Dec 16, 2014
The 1st thing I would do is to separate the balls in to three groups of 4, 4 & 1. Then I would commence the 1st measurement using the 1st two groups of 4 & 4 leaving 1. If the weight of the beam is balanced. then it means the ball left out is the one with the lighter weight. Then there would be no need to commence further measurement. If however upon the very first measurement, the beam is not at equilibrium then it implies that the ball of lighter weight is contained in one of the pans which can be easily deduced by the relative balance of the pans. the lighter pan would be above the heavier pan.

I would further my measurement using the balls contained in the pan that shows the lighter weight. Ii would divide the balls in this pan in two groups of 2 & 2. I would commence my evaluation, picking each ball one by one in to separate pans. 1st ball out of the 1st set in one pan, then 2nd ball in the other pan noting the balance of the pan as I put in the 3rd ball and 4th ball... this way, if the balance was seen same as the 1st 2 balls were each placed in separate weighing pans, we can affirm that the ball of lighter weight is in the remaining two balls to be placed. By placing these balls, one can easily deduced the ball of lighter weight. by seeing the pan that weighs less after placing the last two balls... noting which balls where placed last is also very important since the balls are identical

neoapocalypse:
Here is a riddle for the cerebral ones

You are given 9 identical balls of the same colour , same size and almost identical weights except of course one ball is slightly lighter than the remain 8 ( the remaining 8 have the same weight and everything ). You have to pick out the lighter ball with the use of a weighing balance ( see figure ) but the catch is you can only use the balance twice , how do you pick out the lighter ball ?
Note: You can not use perception to judge the weights as they are almost the same weight ( like 100g and 98g ) and you can only use the balance twice.

In order to confirm which sister is lying and since we do not know which of them is standing on what road, I would ask the 1st girl if the other girl is her sister... If she says yes then we know she is not the one that lies. Then I would move to the other girl and ask which road leads to never land... and of cos she would point to the road that leads to the village.

However, If the 1st girl lies and says " no" the other girl isn't her sister, then we would have confirmed she is the sister that lies and hence proceed to ask the other girl which road leads to never land/the village since at this point the answer has proven she isn't the one that lies... I would get the appropriate directions from her. #Gbam... Solved!

RomanceRe: Reasons Why Most Ladies Love Tall Guys by percyoats(m): 12:01pm On Dec 15, 2014
If the above benefits about being tall is only/mostly relevant to ladies... I'll pass... whether you short or tall, I am sure either has its advantages/Disadvantages... I don't think this is too much to go all bazack about... However... I am sure even if all the ladies in the world like tall guys as you have pointed out... Some will still marry shorties... Lols, Tall guys can't go around I guess... Then I don't think Op or we all really understand what being tall is... Not like a plantain tree... But at least knowing you ain't short... and you are some meters longer than a babe... Now thats that... Tall, short, whatever... Am sure my MD is short but he shanks loads of very tall hoes... so I don't really see how this matters... #AmOut!!! smiley

RomanceRe: Annoying Traits Peculiar To Naija Girls - concerned Nairalander by percyoats(m): 2:54pm On Dec 12, 2014
One of the best articles have read so far on this platform.

rigarmortis:
1. The real man pill
Some naija girls try to market and sell the “real man” to some poor unsuspecting dude, any dude that swallows this pill will immediately start acting like some robot, the “real man” is not supposed to do this and that, as prescribed by the particular naija girl you are dating.
Swallow this pill and you are doomed for life, suckered into the myth that all men are supposed to behave in some way, which is infact a bid to control you, you should be pitied more than juddas Iscariot.
The irony is that most of this girls have dated wimps in the past, broke up with them because he behaves like a puppet, meet you, fvkcs you to spite him and then tries AGAIN to turn you into the former BF by selling the pill to you.
Poor souls.
RED FLAG.....watch out for words like.....”your mates out there”....”real men are......” or trying to make you watch some romance movie or telemundo, then she ill hold up the characteristics of the main guy who is soooooo gentle, but beats his wife in real life and has had 40 divorces....watch at your own peril, if premership season is off, watch NBA, if its off season, plug your playstation, if none is available, give her the remote and take a nap.

2. The “need to be taken care of” mentality
You would usually hear a naija girl say stuff like...i need a guy who can take care of me....well, nothing is wrong with that, but they mean it in a lazy way, like they are some dumb invalid, they appear like a wimp doll whenever i hear that shiii and should be surprised when they are treated as such, what happened to striving to get yours, the days of..the wife sits at home is gone, its equal rights now...of cos there wil be occasions now and then when, but don’t act like you have won the lottery, retired, or hit a jackpot as soon as a guy asks for your name.

3. Potential boyfriend profiling
Naija girls profile you and size you up as soon as you say hello, you can see the cat like eyes darting around, all over you, searching for a clue.
Yeah, everybody wants the good life but then what happened to meeting a person first and knowing him then seeing if you like him or not.
When i meet such girls, i can sight them a mile away, but usually when i am drunk enough or just unfortunate to cross their path, immediately the sizing up begins, i feel like just cutting it short and walking away, but i am a gentleman, i just give an excuse about how my phone battery is flat, collect their number on a sheet of paper, then calmly proceed to dispose of the paper in the nearest dustbin, .
4. Some things are not sexually transmitted
Success, wealth, smartness.....what do they have in common.....they are not sexually transmitted, so next time you are in a car and feel like the world is your, when you get kicked out you will end up with nada, so get yours, the fact that you are fvkcing each other doesn’t mean shiiii.

5. The victim mentality
Guy meets girl, they start fxking, guy spends heaven and earth, girl meets sugar daddy, girl leaves guy........guy is hurt bad, everybody tells him he is a man, to move on.
Guy meets girl, guy empties his bank account, girl is happy, guy sees a girl with phatter ar53, guy dumps girl, girl screams blue murder, tries to make guy look bad in the eye of the public, that is so nija girl, its unfair and idiotic, get over it, apply makeup, hook another one, thats the spirit.

6. Extreme neediness
No need to explain, naija girls seem to need one thing or the other, some see it as a way of testing your love.

Quite insane

7. Shallow mind and ignorance.
She knows BB10, iphine, mercy Johnson, kim, k, ,,...thats the end, go deeper and you jam a brick wall, without a helmet you might get migraine for life, some of these girls are dumb as a doornail,, keep it up, keep steve jobs family rich and complain whne you are 50 and single.

I don't know what you was told when you obtained your Certificate from school... But I remember we was told strictly not to laminate our certificate.

teetom:
Hi fellow nairalanders. I want to know your view on
issue of laminating certificates, especially those that
have had the opportunity of travelling abroad. Some
say lamination of certificate is the best option to
preserve it because any slight alteration renders it
useless and valueless and you know it's not easy
to get another once it is altered.

While some say
many foreign establishments and even embassy
reject laminated certificate.

Please what are your
views on it?

BusinessRe: CBN To Introduce Lower Denominations On Atms by percyoats(m): 8:58am On Dec 03, 2014
I think this would also help address the issue of changes and all... Since most times the higher denominations are the most spent due to inadequate access to lower denominations.

BusinessRe: Hausa Ajami/Arabic Inscriptions Removed From New N100 Note by percyoats(m): 6:08pm On Nov 17, 2014
I do believe Hausa is a lang... Has its own word spellings... I support this move, however, if we still have Yoruba and Igbo inscriptions on these notes, It would also make sense to have words written in Hausa... But not Arabic!!!
maclatunji:
The essence of the currency is for people to use it, if you make it difficult for a good part of the people it is meant for to identify and use it, then you have only proven to be myopic.

I also find it funny that the opponents of the Arabic script are motivated by hate and to a lesser extent fear. Removing the scripts will not change their fear or reduce their hate. I find it amusing as a result.
