We spent 2 nights here, and it was actually a very nice time, the people were warm and friendly(others holidays makers), starting up conversations was very easy. The beach water recceds at night and comes back gradually during the day, we tried taking a walking along the beach line but the massia security people refused us going beyond the boundaries of the resort(safety first). So we stayed back and just enjoyed the scene. We tried walking further into the beach but gave up when some locals seemed a little too excited at our presence, plus they caught a fish in the water n we wondered what else could be lurking in the water, plus there were lots of corals and shells and stones on the ground, so that made walking a little bit uneasy.

By morning it all looked a lot better the beach was beautiful the setting was actually very nice, seems like only non africans know how to appreciate the beauty of africa as the resort was filled with white people. We even had liver to wear our bikini's which we had pack along.

This scene made up for the shock we recieved the previous night.

We got visa on entry, and it cost 50usd.

The trip was awesome, we flew in from lagos via kenya to Dar es salam, we had arranged for a taxi to take us to our beach resort, in Dar es salam. We stayed at a beach resort in Dar es salam, Mikardi beach resort. If you are looking for 5 star hotel treament look else where though, it had this very rustic look n feel, very traditional, no hot water, mosquito nets, ankara curtains, we were a bit taken aback when we arrived. We were expecting some nice hotel with white sheets and a nice warm shower after a long journey. N this is what we saw at about 1:30am.

I SMH for you. Are these the criteria for the man you want to have sex with or the man who want to marry eventually?
So, any slowpoke who happens to be 6ft, well built and light in complexion has automatically becomes your dream man?
Sorry to say, but it is either you are deluded or you must be high on some adulterated psycho-medication.

really?? i don't remember proposing marriage to anyone oh. I SMH for u too, who jumps to silly conclusions, is the world in scarce supply of 6ft men?

Romance / Re: Meeting A Nairalander And Falling In LOVE by peren: 10:59am On Jul 25, 2014
alextayo: I met one sweet pretty lady here last year. We were actually planning to settle down when irreconcilable differences about religious belief reared its ugly head. I am a conservative Catholic (and can NEVER change for any denomination) while she is Pentecostal. She wants me to meet her pastor for courtship approval which i dont really subscribe to but intend to do since a lady has right over wedding plans. Then then took things further by declaring that

1) she wont attend my church after wedding because she is also an active member in her Pentecostal church

2) I will leave my Catholic faith and join her church because she wants her husband to support her future calling. (future calling my ass)

3)lastly she wants the kids to also attend her church.

How can I, a staunch catholic, Choirmaster and Organist be going west and my family will be going east on sunday to worship God...the family that prays together stays together.....that the end of our story

guy am a single catholic girl, and i also do not want to change my faith for, do u want to meet me?? grin grin grin grin grin

I don't think you did justice to this your topic. you mentioned only edo state, do you think that everyone has the time to go through every single post? I think you should have mentioned your top ten then let the comments start coming.

BarrisNixon: Wow... I have seen a lot of comments that has not been so nice but its all good. The actually purpose of this thread is to showcase different ideas of honeymoon destinations in Nigeria. Your personal opinion is allowed so please feel free to drop your suggestions.
Obudu mountain resort and yankari game reserve seem to be topping the list right now but I know there are other very good places in Nigeria so please feel free to state them here so people can decide to check them out.

venorite: From wht I get from your write up, firstly ure chosey and that's a big problem.you don't have such luxury again.being a baby mama is not as easy as you may think it is.there's nothing better than a child that has both parents,God made it that way for a reason.I have a friend that is married to someone she never like,I mean she never had an atom of likeness but now she can die for her hubby.believe me,ure lucky to have people still showing interest in you @ your age cos men of nowadys seem to prefer younger ladies.my advise is,pick a guy with best quality from the guys that are approaching you, give it your all and I can bet you,you will never regret it.every woman needs a man irrespective of what they might want to think.that is why you see genevive even with a grown up kid stilll lurking around dbanj.get a man and make 2014 your year

I guess you are right, i am lucky and i should make a pick. thanks

IamTitanium: If you wanna be his baby mama and he also wants you to be his baby mama, it means he's not all that into you, in other words, he doesn't Love you! If he Loves you, then he'll not mind marrying you.

Now you said some other guys that u don't really like are interested in you. I'll suggest u pick one of them, the one u can tolerate, and if he really love u Lyk u said.......he wnt mind marrying u.

Most times, women dnt always Love their husbands before marrying them, just be sure that the guy Loves u. Its only a matter of time befor u start Loving him too.. My pastor's wife is an example.

I think you made it clear!

Uyi Iredia:

Hmmn. So far you can take care of the child and you are sure you want to have the arrangement_fine. But have you considered adoption, in order to be a 'baby mama' without further contradicting your religion ?

I think people normally adopt children when they can't have children naturally. But you are right if i want a child that badly may be i should consider adoption.

anselm791: I'm sorry for my crazy assumptions, actually I do watch MTV and homosexuality which is now a culture by the way was made cool by the media and same thing is happening with babymamas, in fact there's a reality tv 'me and my baby mamas' now showing on MTV. I still think its a bad idea though, that fella you like needs to grow up cause maturity comes with responsiblities and being commited to them. Now I'm not sure what your problem is, and yes you do have one, find it and fix it, please don't play that "someone will love me for me" card, you don't have the luxury of time.

oh i get it now! People do love me as i am, but then i need to love them back, that would motivate me to want to fix me.

Danhumprey: Why on Earth will you wanna be a baby mama? Gaddemit! You are signing up for slavery. Use your head for once! You don't just miraculously have feelings for the opposite sex. You develop it,nurture and grow with it and see where it lead. Don't be desperate,at the same time, don't be picky. I won't advise you to be a baby mama.

Thanks.
Romance / Re: Is There Anything Wrong With Being A Baby Mama? by peren: 2:29pm On Jan 02, 2014
mayapop: Why would you wanna be a baby mama to a guy you're not really sure if he wants to marry you? Remember he said, "let's see where it goes" um think about it, you don't wanna do something you'd regret in a way undecided when he's ready to put a ring on it, then you can be more than a baby mama, that's way more better.

But i also want to have a child.
Romance / Re: Is There Anything Wrong With Being A Baby Mama? by peren: 12:09pm On Jan 02, 2014
anselm791: First of all, you two are way too old to be watching MTV. That poo like homosexuality is for the white folks, we don't get it and we won't accept it.
Secondly, for someone with commitment issues, I think wanting a kid is the biggest joke of the year, its like me hating heights and still wanting to be a pilot.
Finally, I'm not sure what you really want in a man, but I know we are what we attract, so work on yourself.

Am not sure what the connection with being a baby mama and homosexuality is, am simply saying have a child out of wedlock. And i do not watch MTV. Am not sure I agree, with "we are what we attract", but maybe i do need work too, or someone who would accept me for me!
