Good morning to you all,hope u all had a gr8 night......Am afraid this story is going to take a pause for now. The reason is for sometime now i have been having issues with my phone keypad hence the short and delay in update but now the problem has really gone beyond my control.
Am really sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.

chistar01: Nice story, loved that 'touch your toe' scene, reminded me of high school, #teamFEDGO #Pro unitate (I still don't get the meaning).

Okay enough whining, down to criticism *knots tie and straighten face*
Firstly, you need to work on your update length, they are annoyingly short.
Secondly, suspense isn't gotten when you keep your audience in the dark 4 too long, if you say you wanna keep your readers wondering what would happen next 4 too long, they tend to loose interest.
Thirdly, work on your punctuation, I haven't seen one apostrophe(' or " ) and yet your characters are speaking, in other words, use apostrophe when quoting what a character said.
Fourthly, try and update more often, it helps a lot.
Fifthly, don't bother about the comments, just keep on updating, at a point even the ghost readers won't be able to hold back their comments anymore.
And lastly, I know typos are almost inevitable when a story isn't proofread but try and minimize dem.

Mrs akpan was a well built woman with the body shape of a real African woman,she had a great test for fashion,her eloquent dressing alone intimidate most female teachers.

I want to educate you on the importance of language in the human life,the role of language can not be over emphasize,we use it to- - - - - - - - - - - - -Mrs akpan went on and on giving her long boring lecture after what seems like ages she finally round up her speech by asking us to all stand up ands sing a song.

we all sang the song clapping our hands like kindergatten.
The song help to ease the tension in the hall.

We were later introduce to the various house masters and mistress of the various hosues and other seniour staff of the school.

Sunday was one of my favourite days in school,because on sunday no body you up by 5.am for morning cleaning so you can sleep till 8.am without anybody body harassing you infact on sundays morning duty is not compulsory or so i thought because i have skip my sunday morning duty on several occation without being purnished.

Guy wake up go baf.
We go late for chapel i said, waking Victor who was snoring from his sleep.

Late for wetin?
Ur uncle! today no be sunday?

Victor said standing up from his bed.
We both had our bath and wore our chapel wear which was white packet shirt and white trouser infact we both look like the angels i use to see in nollywood movies.

We both hurried to the the schoool chapel with our bibles in our hands like good children that we were.

adisa204: I remember those days when my seniors would call us to the COURTYARD and start demanding for 'C'M.S',(cornflakes milk and sugar) then we would start singing the he is a great provider,he is a great provider,he will surely provide cornflakes,provide milo.

Good old days.

The hall was already filled with student,so we quietly sat down on an empty seat at the back

No student is allowed is allowed to vesite the staff houses or corpers lodge,no student should be found in the hostel during school hours,games ,during meals or any other school activities. Bullying is not allowed in this college,anyone found in any act of bullying would be expelled from the school.

The principal went on and on reading the school rules and regulations from the college handbook. Rules we were already familier with.

The cheerful faces of must of the student had suddenly turned into a frown.it was obvious i wasn't the only person in that hall feeling hungry.

Gling! Gling! Gling!
The bell for lunch was rang all the students stood up and we were running to the dining hall with Abel talking the lead role.

When Mr Robert the terror of the boys,blocking the exit of the hall asked us to go back.

Mr Robert was a hulk of a man his chest alone would give the famous wrestler and actor the Rock a run for his life.

He was the security man incharge of the boys hostel he was popularly known as Roboto intact a stroke of cane from roboto can make someone cripple.

So as soon as Roboto said go back.
We all returned to our seat and sat down like good children.

But my heart, my mind and my soul were all in the dining hall.

adisa204: @kingphillip wo ehh,if you refuse to give him at that point its rather none of you get to eat the food cause he would make sure he pours it away,and after that you would be on his TRAPING list,meaning anything you would do in the school would be faulted by TRIGGER thats how bad it was then.

So as una small so una don start doge skul activities abi? Make una knw worry by the time i finish wit una today una no go dorge skul functions again. Seniour trigger said.

victor manage to reply trigger while i was shaking like a fish out of water.
A slap from trigger can render someone deaf and blind at the same time.

Two of u lie down flat trigger blurted out,removing his skin belt from his waist i dont know if it was a custom for all the senious to have atleast one skin belt.

Trigger abeg we no go do am again.
But all our plea fell of deaf ears,infact it seems the more we beg trigger the more mortivated he was to flog us.

So we both accepted our fate and lie down.

He gave us four strokes of hist belt on our buttocks
he was about to give us more when he suddenly saw the cup of our corn-flakes beside my bunk.

Wetin dey dat cup for their?
He said pointing to the cup of carbin-flakes.

Na carbin flakes.
We both answered
he walk and pick up the cup.

Oya before i close and open my eyes i no want see una for dis hostel.

We both ran like mad men out of the hostel to avoid stories that touch the heart...

After the inspection,we were asked to move to the school assembly hall popularly known as Davis hall,the hall i heard was named after Mr p.h Davis the first principal of F,G.C sokoto.

Victor and i refuse going for the orientation so we both hide inside one of the bath rooms.
When the whole hostel was quiet we came out of the bath room to make ''solo'' because we were really hungry.

Solo is not the short form of pronouncing the name of the famous king Solomon in the bible who had seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines as it's mostly called by most Nigerians.

The '' Solo'' am talking about is the name given any food made or eaten in the hostel be it carbin,idomie, Gee talking about garri,rice whatever the food is once it's eaten in the hostel it's referred to as Solo.
I don't know where or how the name originated from i meet it that way, and that's how i left it.

Victor and i made a very powerful carbin flakes which was also one of my favourite '' solo'' in the hostel.

We didn't bothered hiding before eating, because it was a Saturday morning most of the seniours had gone home for weekends,others are in town doing what i don't know,some were in the classes reading for their final exams i.e the serious once. And while some were at Sodom and Gomorah with their girl friends.

The sodom and Gomorah am talking about is not that city in the bible that God destroyed due to the sins of the people but saved Lot and his household.

Sodom and gomorah in was the name given to a popular hang out zone in school, guys normally meet with their girl friends for chart,kissing, smooshing and all other kind of unholy act. Especially on Saturday night the place is mostly empty during the day.

So victor and i thought we were saved,because even the few SS3 in the hostel belived we have all gone for the orientation.

I was about talking the first spoon of the carbin flakes when i heard

lol well alot of spoilt kid came to the boarding house with thier sturborness but trust me they never left the same way because after receaving one slap from trigger ur life will never remain the same. Before now i been dey tink say i sturborn oo but as i go boarding house i come no say inside sturborness,another sturborness dey infactwhere my own stop na dia another person own start.
