I joined this thread in June last year, and I have no regrets. This page has been a blessing for me. I've learned a lot here that has helped me succeed in my application. Self sponsor is a crazy route to follow and I have had my share of the breakfast recently. These VOs shine their eyes once they see selfsponsor nowadays. My advise, complete your full tuition fee and do a GIC of at least 10k CAD. Have solid home ties, letter of introduction, landed properties, tax clearance, pension reference and statement, employment letter, affidavit of return, etc. I believe your closing balance will be sufficient afterwards.

I'm really considering between using an agent and doing it myself, I have been reading and following up here and I barely see people use agent, please advise me, the agent is a popular one from nairaland but his fees are very high

1 Get cerave SA renewing cleanser use at night
2 Get cerave pm moisturizer use morning and night
3Get cerave hydrating facial cleansers use in the morning
4 Get an SPF 30 or above, I recommend (Rohto skin aqua SPF 50+ pa++++) for the SPF you have to reapply every 2hrs so when you're outside you'd need to reapply, if you can get an SPF sunstick for easy reapplication
5 try to understand your skin type (do a research)
6 stop popping your pimples
7 Go on Google and learn how to layer skincare for beginners
8 Do more and more on skincare products and how it could improve your skin
9 If you get confused stick to cerave products only till you learn how to care for your skin
10 for now your skin barrier is damaged and you need it to repair and heal before you go further
11 I'm not a doctor, I had terrible skin like yours before but I learnt to take care of my skin and created a perfect skin care routine for myself
12 Also benzoyl peroxide is very good too for acne as it kills bacteria causing acne you can start with 2.5% strength and grow gently to 10%
13 See a Skincare specialist not the ones that sells organic creams ooo
14 change your pillow case every two days and your bedsheets every week
15 use paper towel to tab your face do not wipe throw your face

Keep it up. We need to encourage kids to have pets. It helps them show responsibility and accountability. Overseas kids have all kinda pets including strange animals like spiders ,insects or even plants.
