i went out to find out if election is actually holding in bonny and to my surprise, it is holding but with the rain and PDP not taking part, the turn out is poor.

after due analysis, i realized that 60% of laboratory scientists in Nigeria are not holders of BMLS but from other allied courses and yet they have done fine. I can tell you authoritatively that Nigeria society of Microbiology have approached the National Assembly in this regard and NSBMB are equally drafting a similar memo to the National Assembly as we debate this. Our problem in Nigeria is rather than fighting on how to improve a sector, we are busy discussing who is a scientists or not. As a scientist that specialized in chemical Pathology, my quest should be how to improve the field and help my patients and not discussing who is this and that. I wrote a memo recently in this regard to the council as i see no rationale in preventing a medical microbiologist or biochemist from practicing if the council should revisit the associate programme. it will go a long way to eradicate quarks from the system. what the other departments should do is to align with the two bodies i mentioned to push for accreditation or better put push for the Establishment of a similar body if they work together. i don't see any way i or the council will be affected if they are allowed to join. it will even help strengthen the profession as MDCN are beginning to show some compassion on them by employing them into their clinics without being inspected by the council.

OTHER PASSENGERS LEFT BUT HE STAYED BACK TO HELP HIS DAD. AT THE END, HE MISSED THE INTERVIEW. WE OUGHT TO LEARN FROM HIS MISTAKE.

what good news do u all want to hear about nigeria when there is none. If he predicts 24hr of electricity at the end of the day, u all will still call him names. i stay at bonny island, river state and am to go to enugu. I had of the intake through this forum. I quickly called my bros who knew an sss officer to confirm it. The next day, he called me that it is true and that i should ensure i submit mine before 10 am.the next day as early as 5am, i went to enter boat going to ph ist before taking another one to enugu. Thank God i reached enugu by 2 pm due to bad road at aba and okigwe. I finally submitted it and was told to home that they call me. I returned back to bonny the next day by 2pm only to get a text by 5.30pm inviting me for oral screening the next day by 10am. At this point, my bp started to rise. The test and oral interview was even worse. Aba and okigwe road added more pain to me. I won't mention money here but the joy is that am almost there.

now that the time is closing up, can we all narrate how we were able to make it to this stage. As for me, i almost died of high bp while waiting for the test invite as i was a bit far from my state.

i was informed by a close friend of mine that his dad has been posted to lagos in preparation to receive the new trainees and so on but he advised that i should pray for God's mercy as per the lists. There are a lot of vested interest but fairness was applied.

we should expect their text any moment fm now till few days after sallah but is going to be an urgent one. 1 or 2 days interval to report. So pls let pray more.

the report said suspended for 36 months from practice. It has become a norm in nigeria that once u speak out against wrong doing, they will come after u. When will learn to comment and reason thd right way.

how will u feel if someone like u should ask ur ripe daughter or sister to wait 4 even 2 yrs. U are stil in schl, finish and get work b4 asking a lady to wait.
