@ idowu and cocoa, lol. thanks my aunt always says the devil is a bast.ard. i do not know why but it cracks me up everytime she says it @all who asked for this TREATMENT: 1. quote for ketamine/RSD/CRPS in the U.S.A is stated in my post above and letter from the doctor in a post above too. $6,000 plus 2. Dr. Moin's quote for hip replacement if possible at UBTH or Dr. Moin's clinic is at least 400,000 naira, plus 2 weeks in private room is 100,000 naira. non private room is 60,000 naira 3. surgery for right femur if possible at UBTH or Dr. Moin's clinic is at least 170,000 naira cost for tests to be carried out UNKNOWN. costs for physiotherapy and rehabilitation UNKNOWN, but I will find out soonest I know it is a lot but I wish my family had hasten fund raising since the ketamine quote from the states since 2010 or NL had taken me seriously and helped with charity org, etc, when I first put up my story on NL in 2010 then maybe things wouldn't have gotten worse or more expensive. GOD KNOWS BEST If anyone can get a cheaper (but safe) quote/surgery, etc, kindly let me know. God bless you all |

yamakuza: i just tire, abeg make dem respond. re: CRPS/RSD treatment by Dr. Schwartzman is a little over $6,000. i do not know the exchange rate to naira but air tickets for 2, accommodation, physio/rehab not inclusive i have emailed my medical reports, x-rays, etc to info@zankli.com, zankli@hotmail.com in Abuja as suggested by some1 on nl, no reply yet. its weekend so i hope to hear from them as from tomorrow. still no response from SA hospitals (are they so busy, they do not care/bother or just lazy  )all German hospitals I have emailed stated that they do not have specialist or orthopedics for my case. shocking  I also emailed some hospitals in India [/b]about my rt broken femur and cost. still waiting for replies becos na weekend.if [b]UBTH or Dr. Moin agrees then I'll be admitted next week for a month or two (he said) for surgery and all necessary tests possible. *fingers crossed* THANKS ALL |

Yorisb: Thank you all so much and God bless you @yoribs and r231, letters like these normally expires in 3 months so you cannot present it at the embassy after 3 months of the dated letter/invitation. so i have from that date till the 30th of April to go to the embassy, if i cannot make it then i'm sure they will send me another one. if she had written 16th december [/b]which was the date she sent me the email and invitation then the [b]letter would be valid till 15th March. this was her 3rd letter because she had to make corrections pointed out by me. the 1st invitation she sent me was dated 7/12/11 please read reasons below. i have copied and pasted the email sent to me in which the above letter was attached and postdated From: Durmala, Lynn N <Lynn.Durmala@DrexelMed.edu> Subject: RE: medical invitation for U.S.A embassy/visa/fee To: perx Date: Friday, 16 December, 2011, 16:04 "There is nothing I, or Dr. Schwartzman, can do about the charges, which are set and managed by the University’s Physician Practice Group. You are not officially a patient until you are actually seen by Dr. Schwartzman. If you had already been examined and quoted a cost of treatment, we would honor those prices. However, the wait for an initial examination now extends into June of 2014. Many potential patients call and ask what treatment currently costs and then don’t decide to actually schedule an office visit until 5 years later. Obviously, we cannot have a “grandfather” policy for every person that inquires about future treatment. Ketamine is very common and inexpensive medication, that is a widely used anesthetic agent for both humans and in veterinary medicine. A new letter is attached. Wow all these because of me Is so overwhelmingMy eyes are teary I can hardly see. I have to keep it together (breathe in and out). Is this the same nairaland? WOW! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! [/b]it was a great pleasure meeting both of u. we ended up gisting so much, i forgot my pains and sorrows and we also forgot d time and Ify missed her flight and had to go back home late by road, sorry about that gal. thank u guys so much and thank God for journey mercies. [b]thanks for all you and the co-ordinators have done so far. I do hope and pray that I get out of this alive and healthy. the hospitals in South Africa are not responding or replying. I've emailed at least 10 hospitals twice but nothing the doctorswithoutborders email that was given to me on NL failed. message did not send. wrong email or so |

Idowu and r231, u guys are funny. i am straight oh, gay no be my thing at all at all I know u are joking sha. Idowu na real "Osanoooobuaaaa" (God). u dey learn bini/edo language? hugssssssssssssssss freecocoa, yw havent been here 4 a while because I have nite data plan abi na internet, sometimes I sleep off before 8pm and by the time I open my eyes, 6 am don sharp (9pm - 6am mtn) unless i set alarm. i even cut d alarm off if d sleep too sweet  it's also very discouraging becos its always on GPRS which is just too slow but better than nothing. it used to be fasttttt before so hopefully im head go correct soon Even if I don't come here, some nlanders communicates with me through email and phone. I am coping and hanging in there thank you all |
