Christmas period and New year are just a week and two weeks away respectively. Some people are begin to panic on how they are going to maximize the money they have during this period. Some wanted to travel to the East, while some to another country to meet their loved ones.

These are some few tips that can help you in order to maximize your money during this #festival period.

1. Always plan your journey ahead, failure to plan then you are planning to fail. If you know you are going to travel begin preparation as from today to pack all the necesary things you are going to need while you are away such as laptops, charger.

2. Book a ticket online, it will be very stressful at the car park especially 2days or 3days to Christmas, in order to not waste your precious time, make sure you buy your ticket online. On www.moov.com.ng/travels you can reserve a seat online for free.
Just type moov.com.ng/travels in your address bar, then fill the form.

3. Make a budget of how much you are going to need at the place you are traveling to, always have an additional extra change in case there is additional things that needs to be done.

4. Make sure you go with your #ATM card in case you exhaust the money on you, you can easily find the nearest ATM center to withdraw money. But if you are going to a village, please go with enough money in order to be on the safer side.

Check moov.com.ng for latest and up-to-date fares today.

Programming / Monitor Your Assets With Web Applications by peterdap: 8:24pm On Dec 03, 2017
Safeguarding company assets has been a major challenge to corporate organizations in Nigeria. When viewed against the huge capital investments in stationary and major mobile assets, energy and power sources it becomes exceedingly complex and challenging.

To many focused organizations, fundamental to the safeguarding of critical assets is an effective corporate security management system, be it internal or out-sourced

However, determining what “safeguarding” means to company executives and directors represent only the first steps toward establishing effective enterprise-wide risk management. To progress further towards successful risk management companies must integrate into their procedures the many facets of risk and opportunity analysis and complications in information flow and decision-making.

Two of the very critical areas of concerns to many organizations today are

ASSET MONITORING, especially, dealing with fleet Management challenges
FIXED ASSET MONITORING

Executives are worried about the drain on their resources which result from poor or total lack of effective systems of monitoring and control of the asset, such as vehicles, vessels, Generators etc.

Thankfully a Nigerian firm has taken up the challenge of helping organizations manage their critical assets and ensure optimum performance of the users, especially, fleet drivers and supervisors, fixed assets attendants and technicians, etc.

Gambus is a leading provider of end-to-end solutions for remote assets performance monitoring that enables significant operational cost reduction; better customer service and safety operation, which has resulted in broadening its service range.

Gambus can, “track and manage the performance of both mobile and stationary assets, leaving you to enjoy total visibility of your assets (vehicles, vessels Generators etc.)”.

In managing your fleet, “you will enjoy reduced travel time, mileage and vehicle running costs. This will translate to increased productivity, efficiency in your business and visible cost savings.”

Some organizations our correspondent spoke to agreed that with GAMBUS kind of asset tracking and management, their assets are never out of sight or mind again.
A number of reports are generated periodically to ensure the total management of the assets. These include:

Documentation Management
Maintenance Scheduling
Driver Behaviour Management: Driver
Performance Monitoring
Fuel Monitoring
Geo-Fencing- Restriction of vehicle to a particular geographical location
Driver Identification System
Route Mapping

Starting out is daunting and muscle breaking! I know because I have being there. Nobody today can tell or confuse me that building a viable business in #Nigeria is not aching; I know that because since 2014 that I floated my first visionary business called #Agromarketplace Nigeria Limited which birthed her online ecommerce, www.agromerchant.com, which is built to supply fresh foodstuffs and agro produce to customers doorstep, I know the real reason why my family told me to settle for a monthly job. Probably because as an employee, you got nothing to worry or bother yourself about especially when you are not an intrapreneur or you know that even if you are not productive or contributing any tangible value to your organization, you will still be paid your monthly salary. Maybe my families are right about my career choice because floating a structured business in Nigeria is equal to pain and rejection from even friends you trust.

Alas, you couldn't also mock me because in the stress, I enjoy freedom and my independence.

I started business because in few years time, I want to tell young friends, adults and Africa government that this is the way to go.

Fast forward to today, recession is the best time for me. Thou I am not yet a millionaire but in two years I have transacted business worth millions, continue to employ and pay employees, I have never stop travelling. It is daunting but the most interesting and exciting part of my life so far. Who says it is easy to be a success before.

If success is easy at my age, people won't be asking me that am I sure I built this business or I am managing it for somebody. What a way to go? Thank God for the initiative He gives me to building these brands. Nigeria is bad but company are springing up daily that we couldn't meet their orders because our farmers are only doing subsistence farming.

Let me shock you agriculture is the most lucrative business in Nigeria today. Take that from me! #Agribusiness has gone beyond farming. If you understand the value chain and #export opportunities of Agriculture, you are in real wealth.

Today, I will stop here and by God grace, I will continue my #career building up story tomorrow. My aim in 2017 is to inspire many more people to success by floating their own business from scratch with no fund but just idea and inspiration. If you are self-inspired, no obstacle can stop U, take this from me.

Come January 7, 2017, in AKURE, join me and other great starters( not motivational speakers) that have proven their worth today to show you proven ways to kick-start your ideas and passion.

Don't lazy and waste away, make 2017 counts as I will be leading you to create your wealth path in 2017. The men who built America don't have two brains(medulla oblongata). They strived till they started thriving and today America exhumes greatness.

OK! Olalekan Bankole Emmanuel is an agropreneur and social entrepreneur who is thirsty for a better solution to change Nigeria. He is a PhD student in one of foremost Nigeria University. I am still on the lookout for a job; Lecturing job thou! which I believe will help me disrupt the old way of teaching students and carve an innovative way of impacting students which is the only way Nigeria will advance.
