Nigeria,s problems are just too much, you just don't know where to start from as regards addressing them, but I fell if the centre should relinquish some of its powers and responsibilities, things might start to cool down, all states raise their funds and give percentages to the federal, allow states police themselves, and much more, and the centre will become less scrutinised and attractive. I find it hard to believe these militants are exclusively ijaw militants as the media claims, it's hard to go to another persons territory and do these things, unless you have a good number of indigenous people in your ranks, even here in delta, the Ijaw militants activities are restricted to their communities thought the pipelines run through several communities, arepo has always been a hot bed for bunkering activities not militancy or agitation.

Why not let the court decide the cases. U seem to be complaining about efcc notifying d public about the corruption cases. So would u prefer it if efcc picked up people randomly, arrested them, tried them and locked them up in prison without notifying the public?? Constitutionally, criminal cases must be made public, and for a reason. So that people dnt just start disappearing without any cause. So quit nagging about nothing. None of the people arrested so far have claimed innocence, instead they keep indicting themselves and calling each other names.

well, we do agree on courts being the proper place to address these cases, and I wish some of these cases will come to conclusion soon with the help of these evidence EFCC claim to have. With that said. good night.

no point arguing, the present Gov and the agencies under its control can go ahead and do anything they like, eventually power will change hand one day. And we will start all over again, and so will the cycle continue. Until we get it write. Corruption case are tried in courts with the laws of the land, and Evidence provided by both parties. Not with eye buldging headlines on news paper front page. Thanks and am out

I am from a minority group in the south-south, I supported APC during the federal elections, though in states I supported PDP because the APC candidate Was not good enough, I believe I have a fair sense of judgment and perception, and politics was not the influence in my last post. I only said what I thought is the best way to go about the corruption fight. Courts don't only try cases, Cases also try courts. and no defendant is guilty until proven otherwise regardless of public opinion or popularity, like I said the anti corruption war should be served today, the same way we want it will be serve tomorrow, else the integrity of the courts and agencies will be irreversibly damaged

don't mind them, if Buhari is serious about fighting corruption, he should get the law makers to rapidly update our constitutuion as regard to corruption cases, so that the system can be use to treat paul and Peter, not this arrest, detain, then go to the media to influence public judgment, when a judge in court asked for these evidence now, they will start to run to another court to get permit to detain further. News paper trail, wen them reach court now, dem no go fit provide evidence, almost two years, no single court conviction. Just to come and splash figure on front page. Useless one sided corruption fight that has got non of us anywhere.

The liberal left leaning politicians always under play public right wing sentiments, and it has cost them brexit, it almost cost them France, if not that all left parties had to form a last minute coalition to stop the right in the second rounds of elections.
