Jacob paid tithe too - Genesis 28 Vs 22

Now unto Jacob's Son's (The Israelites)
There are 12 tribes in Israel,one of them is called 'The Levites.. God told them not to work, their job is to be working in the Tabernacle.. And the remaining 11 Tribes will pay tithe to Levites .. Numbers 18

If u read Numbers 18 Vs 24.. God said it's their inheritance...So, tithe is not for d poor.. It's meant for the Levites...If u now give ur tithe to poor people, that's 'Alms giving' And not tithe ..You only give to the poor and God will reward you - Proverbs 19 Vs 17

This tithe, The Israelites paid it every 3 years - Deuteronomy 14 Vs 28...
Why did they pay every 3 years?.. When d remaining 11 Tribes pay tithe,it will sustain the Levites for another 3 years

There is a part in Deuteronomy 14 Vs 26 that is talking about 'Strong Drink' .. God asked you to buy it If ur soul lusted after it, but God didn't ask u to drink it.He said thou shall eat before the Lord... God knew some Levites might need it,dats y he said u should buy it

Now these are the people that are permitted to drink alcohol..Those that are sick, about to perish or die... Proverbs 31 Vs 4-7
