Tony Spike: Gosh, too much of badly-written English on this thread. This is more worrisome than the topic of this thread.

The truth is that high school students all over the world are becoming lazier by the year. This syndrome isn't limited to Nigeria alone, the social distractions (and temptations) are too numerous to ignore. Evidently, I believe bulk of the blame should be apportioned to the candidates, many of whom are obscurely unperturbed about their future. Instead of them to study hard, they would rather search endlessly for shortcuts to success. Well, as a matter-of-fact, I attempted JAMB exams thrice myself in time past, so failing JAMB exams shouldn't be the end of the world.

The Asian countries are setting the pace in academic excellence. Japan, India, China, South Korea are churning out young kids who are doing wonders in science and tech, arts, social sciences etc because of their ATTITUDE to education.

Donsly1: COngrats on u're admission. am just curious, wat made u settle for IELT over TOEFL. just want to know. u're the first person av seen talk about IELT, I'll like to know how it all went. I wish u all the best in your scholarship endeavors. Best of Luck Man

Thanks man..IELTS seems more appealing to me than Toefl. It boils down to my preference since both exams are of equal standing any where in the world. Just pray d̶̲̥̅̊aτ̲̅ my scholarship application is granted. Are you based in 9ja or UK? I wouldn't mind if u tell me more.

The last time I visited Ayobo was in 2006 and I have and will never set my foot there again. Its like hell for the residents especially when it rains. Shame on Fashola, Bisi Yusuf et al.

I just got a conditional offer from the same school, and I have downloaded their scholarship form. I'm required to write english exam though, cos they need the score and the reslut and then a 400-word essay. I hope I get lucky for the scholarship.
