If you know you did the exam independently yet you scored below 200, this is one thing you must know that might be the reason.

The first question in each of the four subjects is always about the subject.
For example, if you offer English, Maths, Econs and Govt.
The first question in your English will be WHICH QUESTION PAPER TYPE OF USE OF ENGLISH IS GIVEN TO YOU?
If the paper type at the top right corner of the English question paper is Question paper type:B and the options given are;

A. TYPE D
B. TYPE I
C. TYPE B
D. TYPE U

If you unfortunately choose option B which is TYPE I, that means you have chosen the wrong answer and it will negatively affect every other answer you choose even though they are correct because you have ignorantly change your paper type.
The correct answer is option C.

Also if in Mathematics, If the paper type at the top right corner of the Mathematics question paper is Question paper type D and the options given are;

Many candidates changed their paper type not knowing that Jamb had a very dangerous plan against them. I am not boasting, I can beat my chest to tell whoever that cares to listen that I stopped the menial job I was doing in January and on February 1st I began a rigorous study towards the exam on my own at home.
I covered the jamb syllabus in 4 months. One week to the exam, I was thoroughly convinced within me that I was ready for the exam. In the exam venue EXPO were flying from left to right then I was tempted to ask for it but I came to my senses and I asked myself the following questions;
If you accept this EXPO, why then did you stop the job you were doing?
Why did you study so hard for good 4 months?
Who were you deceiving?
Immediately these questions came it to my head, I ignored the temptation, my confidence developed I went into the hall and attended to all my questions INDEPENDENTLY.
I scored 225, I was actually expecting something higher than this, all the same glory be to God.[/b]

My friend i introduced to my utme class a month b4 jamb didn't take it serious, he uses bold5, he pings in class All d time, we quarrell cos of it, he never studied but he passed!!, dat's unfair, i wonder how to break this news to ol my guys, this year jamb was not free and fair. I met a lady in center dat was crying after d jamb, she said she didn't shade not even one on d last subject she was about writing, i checked her result, she was scored on dat subject even above others. If jamb used a different tactics in marking this year jamb, why do they keep silent. Those dat do runs have been in d business for years, why should this year be different?
I got 174, but ol i know is dat I didn't fail this jamb, jamb failed me..... I accept my fate but never d fact dat I failed am not bothered if i failed Jamb, am only bothered on wat to start doing till next year if something is not done- i still get faith, Mon Dieu est vivant!!!

Based on what i have seen in my own case and that of other colleagues whom i know where not involved in any form of Malpractice;i believe that for reasons best known to them(I don't want to speculate),JAMB is undermining the already declining the reading culture among the Youth by giving them the Impression that it doesn't matter what they write;some retard at JAMB office will simply click RANDOM on their results and give them just anything.

if u shade a type, u will be marked with dat type or do you think jamb knows d type u were given- am not defending malpractice, am trying to be clear if dat would be d cause of my failure cos wen our qweshon papers were brought to d hall, my paper wasn't there, the officials had to give me my subjects combination but might not be my type, if they stored the type they gave each students, why didn't they click there computer to know d type they stored for me and give it to me to stop me from goin through wat am goin tru now?? Jamb where did I go wrong

My brother is always reading @ every available time and space (jamb past questions and answer is always in his car), he checked his result and he had a 253. My sure cousin tried also has he claimed there is a study group they formed on BBM and also on whatsapp, always with his phone,reading textbooks with his BB at hand to respond to every message that dropped in. He checked his result and there is it, 167. Thou some will cheat and pass very well too oooooo. So blame the candidates that failed for not preparing well enough to pass jamb and since they know they didn't prepare, they didn't cheat as well.

The truth is that high school students all over the world are becoming lazier by the year. This syndrome isn't limited to Nigeria alone, the social distractions (and temptations) are too numerous to ignore. Evidently, I believe bulk of the blame should be apportioned to the candidates, many of whom are obscurely unperturbed about their future. Instead of them to study hard, they would rather search endlessly for shortcuts to success. Well, as a matter-of-fact, I attempted JAMB exams thrice myself in time past, so failing JAMB exams shouldn't be the end of the world.

The Asian countries are setting the pace in academic excellence. Japan, India, China, South Korea are churning out young kids who are doing wonders in science and tech, arts, social sciences etc because of their ATTITUDE to education.

if I was d one dat graduated 10good years ago and read like dat, may those years never be good if I get anything below 280. If ur bros knows wat he read, he should score above dat 253. For d fact he scored dat doesn't mean dat is his score, if I were him, i should Feel cheated. Jamb did something, am not mad at them but they should come tell me wat they did. I paid for this. 7k jamb class, 3k trans, 4.7k jamb reg +others= almost 15k and they are giving me 174, impossible!
