A video is currently making the rounds of this poor lady being molested and abused by these guys who were obviously intoxicated in the name of dancing as revelers cheered them on. The event is house party held in someone's compound as shown in the video.

The saddest part is when you realize that the lady was smiling most of the time as she allowed these idiots to degrade her and humiliate her like this in the name of entertainment.She however eventually started struggling for safety when it looked like the abuse could lead to death. Some people online said, that the reason she was smiling most of the time was because she was drugged.


Other ladies watched in amusement while the men hit her against a wooden table, jumped on her, threw her on the floor, toiched sensitive parts of her body and even threw her in a pool. It's one of the most extreme and bizzare videos one will ever see and it's currently trending on Facebook. From the music being played and the voice of the guy, it appears they are South African.

The lady also looked far more decently dressed than other ladies at the party. Here are shocking screen-shots from the video..

A decomposing body has been shockingly discovered inside the public drainage along Marian Boulevard, after the Jonathan Goodluck Bypass, Calabar. According to Odok Duke, who shared these photos, he had to call in the police after discovering the corpse which had been mummified by the weather...

On 17/12/2016, I discovered a decomposing body inside the public drainage along Marian Boulevard, after the Jonathan Goodluck Bypass, Calabar. The location is (after the overhead bridge) the point by the stream, where the Police has a permanent checkpoint.

The weather had mummified the body and the greenery had also assisted odoriferously. So, the eight Policemen carried on, totally oblivious of a victim of murder, eternally entombed in the gutter nearby.

I called their attention to the corpse and also put a call across to Mr JoeMary Ekeng Ita of CUDA. He initially expressed mixed feelings about the removal of the body and the fact that he did not have a functional vehicle and being a weekend, he was cash-trapped and unable to hire a vehicle for the assignment. He suggested that I should call the Commissioner for Environment, but his phone was unavailable.

The Policemen and I remained there, while I made alternative plans to remove the body. But to our pleasant surprise, a gentleman called John,who is the head of the Health Unit of CUDA, came over to meet us and examine the situation - obviously on the directive of JoeMary.

John and JoeMary, took over our sentry duties, earlier that we had expected. As I departed from Ikot Effanga, my conviction that there were still dedicated public officials abound - was further consolidated.

My heart goes out to the dead man: he may have been a father, uncle, brother, guardian or nephew to some people, somewhere when he was alive. How he died may never be known and his killers may never be found. His hopes and dreams, will never be realised. But, he craves for and deserves a dignified repose, methinks. The gutter,definitely, could not have been the final resting place that our society would in or humanity accept or wish for him.

To the likes of JoeMary and John (of CUDA) and the rest of us who still believe that the system can be tweaked to be better - more grease and Godspeed. Patience and perseverance are what I wish for us. Selah.

Two market women have died and 17 injured in a collapsed wall of Urua (market) Ederebo in Ikot Akpatek in Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, hometown of the state governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel.

An eyewitness, Mr. Edet Jack, said on Monday that the injured victims of the collapsed market wall were moved to Immanuel General Hospital, Eket for medical attention, while the two women that died had been removed from the area.

He added that some victims who were thought to have also died in the incident, were revived on arrival at the hospital.

Our correspondent learnt that some sections of the 60 years old market was renovated three years ago by government.

The Commsissioner for Works, Mr. Ephraim Inyangeyen, who led an emergency rescue team to the scene of the incident denied that no life was lost during the incident, he therefore charged people to stop spreading sensational news reports that are not verifiable.

Although the casualties and injured were immediately removed by Inyangeyen, an eyewitness strongly opposed denial by the commissioner that no life was lost in the incident.

“I do not understand what government hopes to gain by playing down or denying figures of victims of disaster in the state. Last week, the government was busy lying to defend a church whose building collapsed and killed over 100 people due to very glaring technical error.

“Today again, the government team arrived as soon as the incident occured, and instead of going to Immanuel General Hospital to ascertain if the weak facility can handle the situation, the commissioner turned himself into a journalist to throw intimidating questions at the timid villagers to cover up the situation,” the eyewitness said.

Reacting to the incident, the Police Public Relations in the state, Cordelia Nwawe, confirmed that only two women died following an old market wall that fell directly on them.

“Only two women died, there is an an old wall that fell directly on them so they died, normal market business is ongoing,” she said.

Meanwhile, worried by the alarming rate of collapsed structures in the country, the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners, has called on the state government to ensure the domestication of the 1992 Urban and Regional Planning Law.

Acting Chairman, Dr. Beulah Ofem, in a press conference in Uyo on Monday, stated that such law, when domesticated would go a long way to aid effective management of physical development of the state.
