Pojomojo:
I came to Abuja in 2003. A banking job brought me here, three years after, we were told to resign in the bank.
I have never been a person who relies on just one means of earning money. While still in the bank l used to sell corporate wears to my colleagues and even staff of other banks around. l was so prosperous to that extent that whenever salary was paid, l saved more money to add to my salary.
When l left the bank job, l took to the business in full and for two years l lived on it. ln the course of my selling clothes, mercy of God located me. l met a customer who introduced me to his office where l was getting supply contracts, within three months l made the money l never made in ten years of labour altogether.
I bought a plot of land and built a four bedroom flat on it in three weeks.
Meanwhile, while working in the bank, l used to have a dream where I see myself teaching in class and l used to wonder if l was going to leave my bank for teaching.
After losing the banking job and got frustrated in the business of selling corporate wears due to bad debts, I ferverently prayed to God to make another way for me. l got a job with a construction company as an accountant, l declined taking the job because some of my family friends children used to come for lessons in my house when they saw how brilliant my children were.
One of the parents of the children encouraged me to start a school, which l started about nine years ago.
Today I thank God for the decision that I made
I'm encouraged by your story. God bless you.

This is simply defination of a bad country that doesnt have a good health care for her citizen

Nigeria is a cursed and backward nation
Is it the healthcare or the country that determines the number of babies that grows in the womb?? There are some things that we will never find out why it happen.

hajarahbadmus:
Hello mamas...we should learn to structure our children's day and not just leave them unorganised if not we will be the ones to suffer for it.
For instance my lo wakes up by 7am,brushes hus teeth, takes his first meal while I wait for him to poop before I take his bath.If he does before 9am,fine! if not,he takes his bath.while waiting,he goes outside to play and take vitamin e..and also exercise a bit..
I use that time to prepare breakfast.
From 9am to 11am, we do rhymes nd play with our toys..by then we are both exhausted. He takes his second meal and I put him to bed and lie beside him. It is a must to take a nap. I can't die!
Before 12 noon, he dozes of and I am free till 3pm..
Lunch is ready by then. We shower, change our diaper etc. By the time we are done, it's 4.30pm and it's time for outdoor play again.. he stays outside till 6pm, takes his 4th meal for the day, I put on d generator, he watches catoons while we wait for daddy to come back. We can also make dinner together..by the time daddy is back, dinner is ready, he eats with daddy, showers and I put him to sleep by 9pm or 9.30pm..
It's a routine..once I miss it he disturbs me and then I look at the time to know what he is supposed to b up to..
We have to teach our Los what we want then to get used to..
Why won't a child sleep in d afternoon? At what age? Please let's try to structure their time.. that's y there is a timetable used in schools to help the children transition from one task to another. Let's incorporate their methods..and let's try to tell them what we want them to do so they understand instead of fighting nd throwing tantrums..for example..its time for lunch..yaay!yummmy and when d child is through, the child gets a hi5, it's time to take a nap, take the child to d bed and lie down..u might even sleep off. But by the time u wake up, the child is deep asleep...consistency is key..
May God crown our efforts.
I hope this helps
Thanks for these, its great idea.

Hello nairalanders, pls, i just need you guyz to explain something to me.
I want the married people here(unmarried peoople included) to please tell me what it takes to be married. How to know that you are ready for marriage. And how marriage affects ones life (as a woman).
Thanx in advance.

My dear Sassy, I've been married for 6 yrs now and talking from experience, the best thing to ever do before marriage is to basically know yourself to an extent. Because during marriage, many things happen like parenting will definitely have a great change in your life cos you'll have to balance all these very well - being a good wife, your career, your children & also nt forgetting ur family and inlaw. So my dear, once again KNOW YOURSELF VERY WELL. No one will tell you the right time to get married expect you cos u are the one involved. I hope this helps and I wish u all d best.

Some years back, I was thinking I have had enough experience to start a school, but there was no money. I put out a proposal and 2 people bought into it, so the school started and we are doing just fine. I won't blow our trumpets here, but physical inspection is allowed. Now, I'm thinking of duplicating our success and making others to benefit. Do you think you may like this?
Please where is the location of the school?!

@ NORAD.. From my experience as a mother of 2 kids(4yrs old boy and 1.6mnts girl),whenever I find out that am pregnant, got my list from the hospital and I begin to get the items little by little,3 months interval. why? 1.it saves stress of carrying too many loads @ a time. 2. it aids proper spending. NORAD..I'll advise that you give your wife what you can afford now to buy few baby things(i.e clothes.....buy unisex wears cos most times the scan isnt always correct about baby sex......,socks,pyjamas,pin-up,caps,flannel,bibs, towel, metholathum, e.t.c) but make sure that the hospital items(i.e dele cotton wool, cord clamp, surgical gloves, catheter size 16,razor blades, florence nightingale, mucous extractor,e.t.c) are complete to avoid embrassment. I wish your wife safe delivery.

Hello (knowledge masters...as I love to call us) teachers...try and make this christmas a memorable one for your pupils. Kids appreciate things a lot no matter how small it is and they'll never forget it. It could a colourful handmade xmas card, a cup or a eating bowl with external flowery design...anything that comes to your beautiful mind. Kids love to know that their teacher care about them. MERRY CHRISTMAS IN ADVANCE!
