For example, CR7 scored once in his first 21 champions league games with Sporting Lisbon/Manchester Utd as a winger/midfielder. Messi scored once in his first 9 games with Barca playing beside Ronaldinho, Xavi, and Iniesta; after training since 13 at La Masia.

Take 21 and 9 from their total number of games played and look how different the stats look.
