@mikeal2, re u judging iwobi by d position u see him play week in week out in arsenal, he is only playing there because of d presence of ozil, Wenger is trying to accommodate both of dem in his startin g line up and because of ozil experience and star status iwobi is shifted to d side. go and watch his games for arsenal in either d EFL cup and see where he plays. even Wenger has said it, he is not a true winger, so I see no reason why we should put him at d side for Nigeria where there is relatively no one better Dan him I. d no10 role. why am not too disturb is dat he will always drift inside d midfield and try to player killer passes to ihenacho or whoever plays 9. The most important tin is we must win today.

dis formation is a good formation dat plays to our strength but am not comfortable with echijile and iwobi on d flanks and I don't see why d young man is wasted there, we all know he is not a true winger. did man is a classic no 10, he is what we re looking for since d exit of okocha from dat position, and even for dis match in particular etebo would HV bn suited for dat role due to his strength and endless running up and down, he would help echijile deal with d rest of mahrez cos of his physique and stamina, unless etebo and iwobi will be interchanging positions which I hope to see, apart from dat d formation is d best we can offer at d moment, with d likes of ogu, musa, ighalo, and musa and even ideye. our bench is loaded with players with quality. goals shouldn't be a problem for dis team.

D super eagles really HV to bring in their A game if dey really want to win on Saturday, d Algerian team will not only depend on counter attacks to get their goals, our defence needs to be top notch on matchday, I decided to watch some of d highlights of d Algerian team enroute their qualification to Afcon 2017 and was amazed at d way dis guys blow away their opponents. dey re very deadly with d freekicks, and corners. in a match against Lesotho dey scored two free kicks with two different players. I know Nigeria is not Lesotho but we really need to avoid committing fouls DAT would lead to free kicks at d edge of our box or close to d goals. coach Rohr reality has a lot of work to do and let's not get carried away by d fact DAT they drew at home to Cameroun cos we re going to face a very solid team. wish d super eagles d best of luck.

@golfish80, I tink u just hit d nail on d head with ur analysis as far as African football is concerned we can't do away with players like onazi in our set up, we cannot HV just flair and guile alone we need steel too. imagine we HV a match in far away Kenya or any other places in Africa where d terrain is not favourable with d bad pitch and weather conditions. hw are we going to play d beautiful passes some of us are talking abt. we witnessed d match in Ndola where our boys managed to play on d bad pitch after 45 minutes d likes of iwobi, ihenacho got tired. it was players with steel like onazi DAT kept us alive in DAT match, with his endless running and strength, even wen esiti came in he brought d same power and steel into d midfield DAT helped us curtail d attacking forays of d Zambians.

as far as am concerned we HV reliable centre bks , d problem should be our left nd right bks, dos re areas we HV nt sorted out and am sure d Algerians knw dis. is left for rohr to decipher a solution

I don't tink moses simon will get d nod ahead of victor moses giving his uninspiring performance in Ndola, and d fact DAT moses is playing regularly and very well for chelsea . remember simon only started DAT match in Ndola because moses was unavailable. I bet u if moses or even success was available dey would HV gotten d nod ahead of him to strt . DAT is to tell u d amount of competition in d attack especially in d wings. and honestly it pleases me. gone are those days wen somebody DAT is off form would be starting matches ahead of more quality players due to biased team selections. that era is gone. @zuchyblink, don't be surprised if doesn't start in d attack, we HV only four slots there one is iwobi, d other iheanacho, d number 9 slot is definetly between ighal and ideye, d only slot left I think moses would take it due to his form for chelsea , so I see musa on d bench. dats my opinion though

I think it depends on what d coach wants, BT if. d decision is left for me I think I will pick ideye because right nw he is in form, and he is very mobile, d guy works for d team he drops deep in d midfield and help build up attacks and DAT is why he is very difficult for defenders to contain unlike ighalo DAT is off form and just hangs around d penalty box which mks it easy for defenders to pik him out. if ideye doesn't score he one way or d other contributes to a goal which was evident in d Zambia match where he set up ihenacho. All our focus is on our premiership gang let's not forget we HV a certain etebo I see DAT guy as our joker DAT day, he might not start d match but he will definitely come in in d second half and terrorise d Algerians with his direct style of play.

I really do not see why we all are arguing abt onazi, as for me d young man is a good player that is needed in this current super eagles setup, he might not be d best passer of d ball but his tenacity and ball winning is very good, if u doubt me watch d Zambian game again and check out d number of balls he won in d midfield, we need him in DAT midfield. everybody must not be a good passer after all we have mikel , iheanacho and iwobi, dis guys can win a game with one single killer pass. but we also needs somebody DAT wins d ball and hunt down opponents which is where onazi comes in, we should remember DAT this is Africa football and it is not every time we play pretty.
