The Americans are not jokers who are only after money issues like us.
Their concerns are clear and until we address the security data sharing issues raised, we are going nowhere.
Going nowhere near their country especially with an incompetent, lifeless dullard as our leader looter.

Gd day everyone, pls I need advice from the bankers & other experienced people in the house. On the 23rd of November last year, my mum (a First bank customer), tried to withdraw 15k at an Access bank ATM, her account was debited but the machine didn't pay her. Two days later, she complained officially about the incident at her bank about the issue, and they promised it will be fixed. Despite several visits to the bank since then, her 15k has not been paid back up till now. Pls what can I do about the situation?

Surely this cant be a bank

Even see the design structure self

Nigerian banks need to be patient and make sure they are fit and proper in properly designing their banks against violent armed robbery.

Also when guarding a property such as a bank, not all the security outfits will wear uniform, there must be undercover officers in mufti even with shops near the bank premises for example.

Everyone is just lazy in nigeria and thus lives perish.

In the day and age, there should be a fast emergency button in all banks which the Manager of the bank can trigger to get emergency fast response in.

Trust me there are some things you can do that will even surprise the robbers self at the speed which you done it

Crime / Re: Anthony Oluseye Akinyemi Commits Suicide In US Immigration Detention Centre by PhantomProbe(m): 1:09pm On Dec 24, 2019
philip0906:

The argument of living fulfilling lives or not, is out of the context of our discourse. What we know for sure is thousands of immigrants who have overstayed their visas, are deported and do not commit suicide.

The crux of this argument has nothing to do with the guy but rather the senseless and foolish attempt to rope Nigeria into his ordeal which is what I am pointing out.

No one has blamed the GREAT America, land allegedly flowing with milk and honey for this guy's circumstance...He lived in America, overstayed his Visa, commited a crime in America, punished in America and kills himself in America...from the blues, Nigeria is dragged? That's idiocy and a feeble attempt at mischief!!
You are not thinking on your feet. I dont know if you are biased or something.
Crime / Re: Anthony Oluseye Akinyemi Commits Suicide In US Immigration Detention Centre by PhantomProbe(m): 1:00pm On Dec 24, 2019
philip0906:

So in this case who should care? Nigeria that has zero hands in his ordeal? Or America where he was convicted of been a paedophile and where the suicide was commited??
Well, people care, else it won't be reported. Plus, the post says it is being investigated. That's something!
Crime / Re: Anthony Oluseye Akinyemi Commits Suicide In US Immigration Detention Centre by PhantomProbe(m): 12:56pm On Dec 24, 2019
philip0906:

I asked a question...Is he the first Nigerian to be deported back to the country?

There are thousands of Nigerians who have been deported back to the country from the west and have not commited suicide, so we cannot use one paedophile as a yardstick to advance any arguement.

He is not the first nigerian to be deported. How many deportees have you tracked and researched to know how fulfilling their lives has been since getting deported? We live in a world where people have committed or attempted suicide for things as trivial as failing an exam or getting jilted. i noticed u have been emphasizing on the word "pedophile". He might be a pedophile, but that doesn't automatically squash all his rights as a human being, as per obtainable laws.
Crime / Re: Anthony Oluseye Akinyemi Commits Suicide In US Immigration Detention Centre by PhantomProbe(m): 12:44pm On Dec 24, 2019
philip0906:

Okay? So?

Is he the first Nigerian to be deported? The thousands of Nigerians who have been deported why didn't they kill themselves? Or were they deported to another Nigeria? Why should we care about a paedophile who kills himself for whatever reason?
In sane places, people care about people committing suicide, irrespective of whether they are criminals or not.
Crime / Re: Anthony Oluseye Akinyemi Commits Suicide In US Immigration Detention Centre by PhantomProbe(m): 12:40pm On Dec 24, 2019
philip0906:

What is the truth please?? A paedophile kills himself in America, why exactly should anyone care? What has Nigeria got to do with that?

Are you people even rational at all? The thousands of Nigerians coming into the country today at MMA from same America, are they not going to be ruled by Buhari?? Or what exactly is your point?
I am not talking about the man's criminal record or crime here. The writeup stated that this man was in removal proceedings (i think that means he's getting deported soon). The thousands of Nigerians coming into the country via MMA from America will go back to America after maybe the festive season. However, when a man is deported, he no go fit normally go back to America. And you should be rational enough to know that that is a lot to handle for many people, especially given the current state of things (and general outlook), economically and otherwise in nigeria. Maybe the guy no fit take am, datz y e possibly take him life.

He said the truth courageously. Sometimes, we must forget about political "correctness" and just say the bitter truth. Fear of coming back to Nigeria cannot be ruled out in this case.

Lucky you. It is worse in the University setting. For some persons these levies, no matter how ridiculous, are deducted directly from their salaries. Whether you agree or not. Whether you were in the meeting or not. How can a union even have access to your salary without your consent? From research, the lowest some persons in the Universities have been levied for the past few five months is 5000 Naira. These unions have been hijacked by thieves. Unfortunately the EFCC doesn't seem bothered about it.

Maybe nobody has called the attention of the anti-graft agencies to these things, or the anti-graft agencies are more interested in 'catching' yahoo boys. Lol

I mean prepare for a lot of trial and error of you are doing remote diagnosis. It will be a lot more time and money consuming than finding a good shop and taking it there. NLers should be able to recommend one close to you.
Very true. U are correct.

Start with the crankshaft position sensor and go from there. Simple diagnoses are hard enough sight unseen so in this case be prepared for a lot of trial and error.

Thanks, rad. But I no understand the second sentence well. Can u pls explain?

Every car has alot of rules

Engine oil is 5w30 recommended but you may not be able to revert to synthetic depending on maintenance of the former owner and if sludge is present in engine.

Your vehicle is 4speed auto so ATF is Nissan matic D, for the radiator any quality coolant would do.

As for the errors, a qualified technician knows what to do
Thanks a lot, nurey. I guess you use a Nissan too.

Swirl error is the reason why the vehicle won't rev pass 2500rpm

The CKP error is the reason why the car won't crank, that's a crankshaft position sensor.

The Engine itself has gone through alot of hullabaloo, it's time to give a qualified technician to check if he can rebuild because even after the errors have been fixed, I foresee an issue of loss or no compression.
The problem na is how to get a qualified technician in Warri. Plus, I hear Nissan has a lot of rules. Pls I need education on these. And again, pls what are the specifications of fluids (engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid, etc) to be used for the car? Sorry to bother you.

Help... 2004 Nissan pathfinder. Cranks slowly, but doesn't start. No spark too. Has about 119k miles.
My dad got car Nigerian-used. Initially, car jerks when accelerating. Also, won't rev past 2500 rpms. Had mechanic change the oil and air filter prior to embarking on trip from Lagos to Warri with the car.
Car suffered overheating along the way, to the point of stalling. Driver said his footwell was abnormally warm while coming with the vehicle, but he did not pay much attention to it. Car cranks, but refused to start again. Even when it managed to start next day, it'll die again. Scanned for codes, and got P0102, P1131 & P0113. Eventually, changed head gasket. And some hard stuffs like coal were also found blocking the exhaust system, and were removed too. Finally, he started the journey again after some days. But noticed that the car still overheats, so he stops at intervals to let her cool off. Now, he didn't have much time to charge battery and all, so he had to embark on this second lap trip with a low battery. Such that whenever he had to stop the vehicle, he would require to get another battery just to be able to start the car. Even heard at one stop, there was no battery available, so he had to start vehicle using a trailer (heavy duty) battery. Along the way, he decided to change and permanent the radiator fan. After which, according to him, overheating stopped Around Benin, he kinda fell violently into a pothole, and the car went off. And since then, it has refused to start again with whatever battery. Had to be towed from Benin to Warri.
Present state is, it cranks slowly but won't start. First of all, mech dat came to check her suggested the timing chain must have skipped. And then later, he found out that the spark plugs aren't getting voltage when he checked. So he advised we get anoda flywheel sensor. Brought like two, (although he wasn't sure if the ones he brought were still functional) but no positive result. Still slow cranks, and no start. Had it scanned for codes yesterday and it showed these: P1131 current SWIRL CONT SOL/V and P0335 1ST TRIP CKP SEN/CIRCUIT.
Please, take am easy with us, we have obviously abused this car. I fearWe need advice, what can we do to get this car running again?

Crank issues is obviously a crankshaft position sensor problem.
okay sir, we tried two already without success. Although the mechanic guys said the sensors are tokunbo and they aren't sure they are functional. so we need to try to get a verified working sensor to be sure. Any ideas how to get a good one? I am based in warri

We remembered just some few years ago, that candidtaes in other politcial parties were using Daddy's picture on their posters ...... even as far as other African countries, their politicians were using PMB's picture to campaign!

A good name is better than riches, so says the HOLY BOOK!

On the last election day ,
INTEGRITY and STOLEN MONEY stood side by side,
But MILLIONS of nigeria queue behind integrity.
And INTEGRITY won.

It will end in praise.
Nigeria will be great again in our lifetime.
It's okay to admire anyone u want to. But this expression feels excessively laced with hypocrisy and sycophancy. Something just doesn't feel right about this.
