People are making mistakes, what caused the condolence visit, those that died did not sick, he went to resolve crises which is political in nature at village and local government level resulting in non tolerance and leading to taking laws to Thier hands against each other. This is happening at every local level expecially on boundaries adjustment, farmlands etc. not only Benue.

It's only Obi people that wears Blacks and take condolences as major festival, even they do print T- shirts. Nothing special about cloth to wear for condolence. Moreso, the president was not there as personal person but as the president for both the bereaved and others. Obi comments is simply because he can no longer go to Benue with his black uniform to pay condolences as usual
