Has anyone observed that the House of Reps seems to be more concerned and serious about favoring the common man in this dispensation than the Senate? Remember the new tax law where the executive proposed a 7.5% extra increment? The House of Representatives was the one that turned it down and even insisted on some other amendments to it that made it a little more citizens-friendly. And now again. But for the senate, anything they send to the senate, I's will have it. I Dont know whether its bc of Akpabio who thinks of nothing else than hmmmm, dont let me say it. Shame!.

I think the reps works more and feeds the senate with Thier outcome, they are many and can do a lot.

Why was Obi considered 3rd? Meaning he suggested them in the order of Thier competency and resourcefulness. And this is very correct to be honest.

The above means no one would ever know Obi today assuming okonjo iweala or Soludo was a card carrying member of PDP at the time.

Why I love this government is they always ahead of the situation. If Buhari government did not underate Endsars protests, he would have arrested the situation before getting escalated across the country. Renumeration depends on your experience and not BSC/HND, mostly it's what the quality of experience is. But in government establishment renumeration is fixed wether experience or not. Nothing to drag about remuneration if you have nothing to offer, but most companies have standards.

What inspired the bill? I mean, which crisis led to the proposal of the bill? They leave the problems in the country and make noise over trivial matters.

In my opinion, the bill is illogical.

I am not discriminating against anybody. I understand that a HND holder might be more intelligent and more skilled than a BSc. holder. But HND and BSc. cannot be the same as long as they are not obtained from the same institution. The point is that whoever wants BSc. should go to a university and whoever wants HND should go to a polytechnic. Why will someone who settled for police job fight to be seen and addressed as a soldier after joining the police?

If you could not go to a university because of some challenges that were beyond your control, it is understandable. But don't unleash your frustration on BSc. holders. If you manage to graduate from a university with BSc., do not mock or intimidate HND holders. But it is illogical to rate BSc. and HND equal.

If they want HND and BSC to be equal, the requirements for HND should be exactly the same as the requirements for BSc.

HND and BSC has different designs of purpose but same years of study.

The requirements are same but the difference is always the technical or technological final output.

Entrance requirements are both credits including maths and English, jamb is required for both and years are both five with BSC of 6 months IT while HND had 12 months IT compulsory in both. Even some BSC are just 4 years while some are 8 years.

I think the complains with HND is pegging them at level 14 max in the ministry. Which seems not to be fair. It's not applicable in private companies, infact private preferred HND guys to any level because of Thier practical and results input.

fubara in the state as governor with emergency in place can not resolve the problem. more so, the president can never ever suspend him without checking for the legality during consultation. he had meetings with national assembly before they finally concluded, the point is , the emergency is because the governor is the main issue.

now the supreme court frozen state account, how do you want workers to get money to run government? lawmakers blocked the gate from governor to do the right thing and present budget, lawmaker commenced impeachment process, militant threatened to shutdown oil installations if governor is removed and even blew 2 already, so if you are the president will you allowed oil production to come down to zero before you take actions? let the administrator see if he can resolved the problems in 6months.
