Sometimes I wonder why they call it Black Friday when the sky is bright and the weather is fair, anyways I rest my case there. What is 4K TV? According to TrustedReviews, "4K, also known as Ultra HD, refers to a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. That’s four times the 1,920 x 1,080 pixels found in your full HD TV. We’re looking at about 8.3 million pixels. Cramming so many pixels into a TV means a higher pixel density, and you should have a clearer, better defined picture. It’s not about sharpness, it’s about letting you see more detail and texture." Most people wait patiently for Black Friday just to buy a new TV. Every year (including the one we are in), you will discover a lot of amazing 4K TV deals which are worth considering but hey! Don’t rush it till you get my full gist. Be that as it may, it’s sad to say but some of the deals don’t worth your cool cash. Now that I have clearly mentioned that, here are a couple of secrets kept from you that you ought to know before buying a 4K TV on Black Friday this year. Generally, due to prices of the TV’s being slashed or becoming affordable so to speak, don’t be surprised to see many people going to buy a 4K TV which they don’t really need. A Few thousands of Naira can replace your old 1080p TV either from Jumia or Konga. Watch out for the following when buying a new 4K HDTV on Black Friday #1. The Number Of HDMI Ports Is Limited To One Or Two Everybody is on the rush to get something on Black Friday TV promo which becomes a problem because the essential features are always neglected in their checklist. Normally, 4K TV comes with up to three or four HDMI ports but you may end up buying a TV with one or two ports. Just because it’s Black Friday and items go on low prices, manufacturers may remove some of the needed features. These ports are useful when interfacing them with cable box, gaming systems, projector, Apple TV, Roku, NVIDIA Shield and lots more. #2. Check The Refresh Rate Specs Whether It’s High Or Low Low refresh rates say 60Hz will likely be available on 4K TV sales on Black Friday so that people can afford them. It’s advisable to shop for TV’s with higher refresh rates of up to 120 Hz or better, 240 Hz. If you love HD gaming or action movies, make a wise 4K TV choice for a better experience. #3. Look For High Dynamic Range (HDR) If you love your movies to look like how the producers envisioned, go for HDR-capable 4K TVs. All those eye catching, crisp and bright colors you see in movies are powered by High Dynamic Range (HDR). For those who plan of having a 4K TV for the next couple of years to come, make sure HDR is on board. The truth is most Black Friday 4K TVs may end not having HDR support due to its low price. Would you consider buying a 4K TV? What specifications will you be looking out for? Over to you. lalasticlala, Mynd44, Seun, Obinoscopy, Fynestboi, honsule, puskin, dragnet SOURCE: http://www.techisbae.com/2017/11/black-friday-4k-tvs-best-kept-secrets-you-should-know.html

Windows Mixed Reality is a platform developed by Microsoft, although it was formerly known as Windows Holographic. Microsoft’s Windows Mixed Reality tends to be confusing when comparing it with Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) because people don’t see the difference but just a mixed up of terms. Anyways, Windows Mixed Reality officially comes with the Windows 10 Fall Creators update. This makes Mixed Reality a part of Windows 10 henceforth. The best part is that Microsoft launched an app to help check if your PC supports Windows Mixed Reality. Microsoft calls the app Windows Mixed Reality PC Check and it’s available in Windows store. Once you download and install the Windows Mixed Reality PC check app, you can go ahead and run it. Click the ‘I Agree’ button and viola! A screen will be shown to you listing PC hardware components which are supported by Windows Mixed Reality. It is worth knowing that Windows Mixed Reality is divided into two platforms. The first is "Windows Mixed Reality" and the other "Windows Mixed Reality Ultra." They differ by the kind of hardware which is supported. Windows Mixed Reality supports nothing less than an Intel Core i5-7200U, HDMI 1.4 or DisplayPort 1.2, and Intel HD Graphics 620 or greater or Nvidia MX150 discrete GPU or Nvidia 965M discrete GPU. Windows Mixed Reality Ultra requires Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or better; HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2; NVidia GTX 960/1050 or AMD RX 460/560 or greater. Windows Mixed Reality & Windows Mixed Reality Ultra also has similar hardware configuration requirements. They are 8GB of DDR3 memory (RAM), 10GB internal storage, USB 3.0 Type-A or Type-C, and Bluetooth 4.0. What do you think about Windows Mixed Reality? Have you used the app on your PC? over to you. lalasticlala, Mynd44, dragnet SOURCE: http://www.techisbae.com/2017/10/the-best-app-to-check-pc-compatibility-windows-mixed-reality-requirements.html

OK. i see because i find it weird when companies especially the ones in tech industry don't know how to count (*literally ). Lets see if Apple will release iPhone 9 or they will move on to iPhone 11.MrBrownJay1: |
If you were to be the number 9, you wouldn’t be happy with Microsoft and Apple for jumping you to the number 10. Today, we have Windows 10 and iPhone X (The X is a Roman numeral for 10). Aren’t you eager to know why this two big technology companies choose to neglect 9 in their product launch, after all, their previous line of products (Windows OS and iPhone) were launched having numbers that occurred in series to note the succession. Microsoft have Windows 7, 8, Jumped 9, and landed in 10. Apple have iPhone 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Jumped 9, and also landed in X (which means 10). The question now becomes: What is wrong with the number 9? We know that most of this brands ship their products to different parts of the world, this places have their beliefs which can affect how they see or welcome a particular thing. For example, it is believed that the number 9 means completeness and eternity in Chinese numerology but that wouldn’t be same for other nations and languages. Why is the tech industry afraid of 9 or are they considering acceptance and sales of their products in other regions? They are in a more better position to tell us. Moving to Samsung Galaxy S9, there have been a lot of rumors about this flagship device which is expected to launch earlier in 2018. A lot of concepts and ideas of how Galaxy S9 will look like are being brought up daily by users who can’t wait to see this high end device released into the smartphone market. Although, the issue of whether Samsung will jump the number 9 hasn't been considered, only time will tell if they follow Microsoft and Apple in their miscounting act. I also had my own expectations of Samsung Galaxy S9 which wasn’t bad to start with, but the final design is in the hands of Samsung. It is expected that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset, and may stick to 4GB RAM rather than switching to 6GB RAM which other phones nowadays are doing. Having said the few things I have in my mind, remember, 9Mobile is the mobile network provider that took over from Etisalat in Nigeria. Hope the number 9 in their name won’t affect their business. For some of us, the number 9 is just 9 and nothing more. Life would be easier if we keep things simple and interpret them the way they are. What do you think about the number 9? Let us know in the comments below. mynd44 lalasticlala SOURCE: http://www.techisbae.com/2017/09/samsung-galaxy-s9-launch-what-is-wrong-with-the-number-nine.html

Ok. Noted. Next time i will Highlight the good benefits of social media. menxer: |
Few ideas came to my mind today and i decided to write about social media giants and brain hacking, wow what a topic. We can all play on the same level ground if we all truly know what brain hacking means. What is Brain Hacking? Brain hacking can be defined as an invented design technique/dark pattern (in form of computer programming) embedded on smartphones, mobile apps, social media platforms, etc which have the ability to hijack people’s mind by keeping them addicted, glued and hooked to their devices. My definition might not be top-notch but please bear with me. You just can’t stop checking to see if you have new notifications, your eyes are always fixed to the device screen. You are walking on the street and at the same time chatting with a friend or watching a video – just put the device away for God’s sake and be human for once. Here are five ways social media have been brain hacking humans. #1. It’s so easy to sign up BUT they won’t let you off the hook so easily Why is it so easy to open a social media account? Facebook, Twitter etc. have you ever tried to delete your Facebook Account? Was it easy? Ok, I know you will never want to delete your social media accounts knowing fully well you have worked so hard to make new friends, gain thousands of likes on that stunning picture or written a life changing posts people can’t do without etc. #2. You don’t pay money to use the basic functionalities BUT sure you are going to pay with your time and that’s money You might argue it BUT you just don’t know that you are paying with your time, and there is a saying “Time is money”. Come to think of it, those five minutes you just spent scrolling through people’s pictures on your feed could have made you richer if you invested it in something worthwhile. Permit me to borrow words from Tristan Harris, former Google product manager, in an interview with CBS News which aired on April 9, 2017. He said “Technology is not neutral. They want you to use it in particular ways and for long periods of time. Because that’s how they make their money.” #3. They keep track of every moment of your activities on their sites and apps Social media platforms will go any length to keep track of users’ activities on their sites and apps. They would collect information about people and how they relate with others, their demographics, habits, news feeds, notifications, and posts. They use this information to sell products and develop techniques to keep users hooked to their devices. #4. Videos are generally set to Autoplay whether you feel like watching it or not The annoying thing about videos which are set to autoplay is people don’t want it but hey! You spend too much time on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat that’s why you will keep seeing them. The motive behind why social media giants will force autoplay videos on you when scrolling past your feed is because of the money they will make and your undivided attention as you may spend more hours on their platform than expected. #5. There is always a reward system around the corner just to trick users into spending more time Social media rewards may not come as physical cash but there is always a system that will push users to keep visiting and spending more time on their sites and apps. These rewards come in form of celebrating users who spent more time online in a month, most active user in a section, most rated user and so many other dark patterns invented to steal people's time and minds. What do you think about brain hacking? over to you. mynd44 lalasticlala SOURCE: http://www.techisbae.com/2017/08/5-ways-social-media-giants-are-brain-hacking-humans.html

The Nokia 8, being a killer flagship, is truly a unique and stunning android smartphone which is being pioneered by HMD Global, the organization that made it possible for Nokia to still be in the lips of people today. Nevertheless, there are areas they kind of missed it (i.e. features neglected) due to one or two reasons, TechIsBae team will explore and reveal them to you. Here they are: #1. Wireless Charging A lot of smartphone users may be disappointed when they find out that Nokia 8 lacks wireless charging feature. Although, wireless charging is still new and hasn’t gain so much acceptance or usage by phone manufacturers, there exist fans who expects flagship phones to be shipped with one. The advantage of wireless charging is that when placed on a wireless charging pad, it charges quicker and easier. Anyways, Nokia 8 missed it by leaving out this feature but we hope they do better next time. #2. IP68 for dust and water-resistance As prices of smartphones continue to increase daily, there is a need for protection, that’s where 1P68 dustproof and waterproof certification comes into play. Nokia 8 is only IP54 certified which means it can only handle light splashes of water. #3. Stereo speakers Nokia 8 is not the first android smartphone to avoid putting stereo speakers in their flagship. Galaxy S8 didn’t have one and it is becoming a standard for most flagship phones. Notably, Nokia 8 features a 3.5mm headphone jack and OZO Audio but it could have made a big difference if they incorporated stereo speakers. What do you think about the missing features in Nokia 8? Over to you. lalasticlala, Mynd44, Seun, Obinoscopy, Fynestboi, honsule, puskin, dragnet READ MORE: http://www.techisbae.com/2017/08/top-3-features-missing-in-nokia-8.html

This article gives you a summary of 8 important things to consider before buying a fitness tracker. I hope you find them helpful. #1. The Brand Don’t just go out there and buy any fitness tracker that you see. Give it a careful thought, know what you really want and get the best. Although it may seem confusing if you truly don’t have any fitness brand in mind but be rest assured that you won’t regret using prominent brands such as Fitbit, Garmin, Apple, Samsung, Misfit etc. #2. Built-In Heart Rate Sensor If you need a fitness tracker that has the ability to give you accurate details of your daily workouts and amount of calories burned during exercises, then it is worth your money to buy a fitness tracker that features a built-in heart rate sensor. #3. Tracking Features Whether you are an individual who love jogging, running, swimming, cycling, losing weight, mountain climbing, walking on treadmill or just want something to wear in your hands while hiking, it is good you consider your most prioritized feature in a fitness tracker. Naturally, swimmers will go for a water-resistant/waterproof tracking wearable and runners may hop-in for a tracker that shows them distance covered and lap times. A Built-in GPS tracker will also be helpful to runners in order to give them accurate results. Hikers can buy a tracker with basic features that shows distance walked. Cyclers will end up deciding whether they want a distance tracker, calorie tracker or brands that support bike-mounted sensors. #4. Battery Life Each fitness tracker comes with varying battery life. Maybe, you intend wearing it for a whole day, then you need a tracker with good battery life. Don’t forget how discomforting it will be to always take it off your wrist to recharge; within every few hours of low battery. Go for trackers that need to be recharged at least every five days or have dry cell battery that last up to six months. This article is going to be brief and straightforward. I have always had this question on my mind “Is it illegal to access the dark web from Nigeria?” Anyways, for those of you wondering what the dark web is all about, it is a part of the web which houses thousands of hidden websites that can only be accessed using special browsers. People who visit the dark web mostly use Tor browser to remain anonymous and untraceable. The dark web is the home of illicit drug trades, ammunitions, fake passports & driving licenses, child pornography, murder videos, human trafficking, hiring of hitmen and anything that cannot be brought to light. You don’t just wake up and order pizza from the dark web. It is funny but true that most people surf the dark web just to satisfy their curiosity which may lead them into trouble. Now, back to the big question of the day: Is it illegal to surf the dark web from Nigeria? Have your say and let’s learn from you. It shouldn’t be surprising to you if I told you that everything in your home may be connected to the internet sooner than you expected, from your refrigerator to your microwave oven, your door lock, and perhaps your bathroom. Anyways, just know that few of your gadgets may already be connected. If you truly want to prevent your smart home devices from becoming your worst nightmare, follow these tips. #1. Don’t leave your default settings as programmed by the manufacturers; change it and thank me later Gadgets which are internet-connected is regularly shipped with default passwords, and sadly users always fail to change them, leading to those gadgets effortlessly exploited by hackers. A lot of DDoS attack carried out on devices is as a result of default passwords which were left unchanged by users. Always change your default password. #2. Always stay up-to-date by installing the most recent software Many smart home device manufacturers would beat their chest (literally!) and tell you that their products are faultless, don’t be quickly moved as most internet-connected gadgets which are considered to be simple have been frequently discovered to have loopholes which are exploitable. Update your smart home devices regularly. #3. Make sure you turn off/disable unwanted features A lot of smart home devices comes with features that you may rarely use, this includes in-built camera, microphone which may become object of target for hackers to use in taking control over your device. The best thing to do is disable unwanted features. #4. Stick to few connectivity options Various smart home gadgets have connectivity options which differ from one another, for example, Bluetooth, Ethernet and Wi-Fi. To keep your devices from harm’s way, stick to few connectivity options and disable the ones you are not making use of. Also, you can settle for wired connection over a Wi-Fi, since it is harder for hackers to break in when it is in place. Are there ways you protected your Internet of Things (IoT) gadgets from hackers we didn’t mention? Lets us know in the comments below. Please Mods help me move it to the appropriate section. Ever been asked to pay a bribe or bribed someone before? Here is a platform to assist you in reporting such cases. I was reading a post today and I came across the domain name 'Reportyourself.org'. I learnt the website has been created with Nigerians in mind, to help every voice eager to see an end to bribery in the country to be heard. Anyways, the thoughts that first came to me was ‘How can individuals report themselves, that’s indirectly implicating oneself to whatever they wanted to report considering how such cases have been handled in the past’, but when i read further, i realized this newly launched platform was created to serve a purpose alongside protecting people from whatever has been reported. “This site is only a place to gather reports about instances of bribery and is not at all connected with law enforcement. There will not be any legal ramifications for officers who have been reported on this site as it is only a platform for collecting stories about instances of corruption in Nigeria”, Oluseun Onigbinde, lead partner, BudgIT, said. It is good to know that the U.S. Consulate in Lagos, Religious Leaders Anti-Corruption Committee (RLAC), the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) and the Social and Economic Rights Action Center (SERAC) supports the development of this platform. Our last words at TechIsBae is say no to bribery, use BudgIT newly launched platform 'Reportyourself.org' to let the world hear you. Welcome to Techisbae. Attention: this article is not going to be the usual type you read elsewhere. Here we go. Smartphones having dual cameras may not be for you if: #1. YOU JUST WANT IT BECAUSE YOU HEARD “TWO IS BETTER THAN ONE” A lot of phone review blogs and website have conveyed the message “Two is better than one” when talking about recent smartphones with dual cameras such as iPhone 7+, Huawei P10 etc. All I can I say is ‘Two is better than one if they are both good’. Don’t be in a hurry to buy a phone having dual cameras because you saw a random blog post advising you to do so and remember, not all review is honest. If you are not looking forward to achieve something good with a dual camera phone, just stick to single camera smartphone and save yourself the extra money that you will spend buying it. #2. YOU CARE LESS ABOUT BOKEH The effect where you see a background image blurred while focusing more on the subject in a photograph is called bokeh (a Japanese term). This is usually used by expert photographers. If you care less about bokeh or you intend editing the picture and adding the blurry background effect using software – it is obvious you don’t need a smartphone with dual cameras. All you need is to go extra mile to use trickery in adding bokeh to your photos. #3. YOU CAN TAKE A STEP CLOSER TO YOUR SUBJECT AND IGNORE ZOOMING Yeah, of course you can do without zooming when taking photos except in some cases. Be natural for once, move closer to the subject you want to take photos of and viola! Magic happens. lalasticlala, Mynd44, Seun, Obinoscopy, Fynestboi, honsule, puskin, dragnet READ MORE: http://www.techisbae.com/2017/07/3-reasons-smartphones-with-dual-cameras-is-not-for-you.html

Microsoft has always been doing great things and this app is about to be added to the list. The tech giant unveiled a new app called Path Guide to enable a lot of people find their way when they are indoors. Not to forget, GPS has helped users navigate or find their way with ease, with the exception of when they are inside a building; satellite signals have troubles locating their current point due to the presence of walls and ceilings. Microsoft must have contemplated on how to help and now it is finally here. If you are fond of finding yourself in shopping malls which are large enough to get you lost, hospitals, office buildings and parking lots, this app will definitely be your best companion as it will help you move freely without losing your way. To shorten the whole story for TechIsBae readers, let’s find out how the app works. Just like the name, Path Guide follows your paths exactly to the number of steps expected to reach a place with the help of your smartphone’s sensor. The app doesn’t require GPS, Wi-Fi or radio signals to help you achieve easy indoor movement. Microsoft put in two years effort in order to come up with the app and we hope users find it useful. After tracing a path with the app, you can upload it for others to use when navigating same place. The app is available only for Android users, head out to Google Play Store and download Path Guide. lalasticlala, Mynd44, Seun, Obinoscopy, Fynestboi, honsule, puskin, dragnet READ MORE: http://www.techisbae.com/2017/07/microsoft-path-guide-never-lose-your-way-indoors.html

Hmmmn... I am not joking when i talked about affordable price for Samsung Galaxy S9, bending the rules won't kill Samsung. Cheers!!!NaijaTechGuy: |
Insight for your delight: Somewhere on the internet, on the lips of people, it is spoken of Samsung Galaxy S9 to already being developed. Samsung and Qualcomm coming together to take a shot at the Snapdragon 845 chipset points us all to one direction – it is probably going to power the Galaxy S9. Welcome to TechIsBae. Straight to the reasons why I am writing this article and why you are carefully reading it line by line. Here is top 4 future expectations for Samsung Galaxy S9. 1. A fingerprint sensor below the screen Samsung Galaxy S8 failed to meet a lot of people’s expectation when Samsung’s plan to embed a fingerprint sensor below the screen was halted because there was no time on their hands to make it work and had to move the fingerprint to the back of the phone. Galaxy S8 later featured a sensitive home button beneath the screen, which users found to be useful. All eyes on Samsung this time around as we expect them to incorporate a fingerprint sensor below the screen in Samsung Galaxy S9. 2. Excellent Dual-lens camera iPhone 7 Plus dual-lens camera made it a winner when it was launched and we expect same from Galaxy S9. Before Samsung S8 was unveiled, news had it that it may feature the dual-lens shooter but it never happened. Now is the time for Samsung to give us what we want – excellent point-and-shoot dual cameras on Galaxy S9. 3. Affordable price Believe it or not, Samsung Galaxy S8 was costly and we hope that will not be the case in next coming flagship smartphones to the market. Samsung should do something new this time and that is to give us a less expensive Galaxy phone next year. 4. A small-size edition Samsung S8 Plus was bigger than Samsung S8 because it was the mid-sized version having a 6.2-inch display; both devices were operated one-handed by users although some had to choose one that was more convenient for them. We would like to see Galaxy S9 having a small-sized display. What do you think? Over to you. lalasticlala, Mynd44, Seun, Obinoscopy, Fynestboi, honsule, puskin, dragnet READ MORE: http://www.techisbae.com/2017/06/samsung-galaxy-s9.html Image: Samsung Galaxy Series

Right now, Samsung is going Flippy! again and intends to capture hearts who love clamshell phones. If you have not heard the latest development from Samsung, then here it is: Samsung has unveiled Galaxy Folder 2, a clamshell phone packed with Android Operating System. The flip or clamshell phone can be described as a cell phone which is divided into two or more sections and folds with the help of a hinge. Remember the days of Nokia Communicator series, Motorola RAZR etc, those are good examples of flip or clamshell phones. Surprisingly, Samsung Folder 2 features a 3.8-inch LCD display, 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB of RAM, and runs Android Marshmallow. The battery capacity isn’t doing bad as it packs a 1,950mAh battery, and up to 128GB expandable storage using a microSD card. The smartphone is also equipped with an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front snapper for people who love selfies. One thing to note is the physical keyboard on the phone that helps users control the device. Would you consider buying the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 or any other flip phone? Profile pictures thieves wont like this as reports making rounds in the internet reveals that Facebook is bringing a new feature to prevent people from snipping or maliciously saving your profile picture without your consent. Facebook announced the new tools in India which is still being tested. The feature will help users to be able to restrict downloads / access to their profile photo. If you live in India, then you are good to go as you might see an option to switch on "profile picture guard" when you surf through your News Feed. Don’t be surprised that this feature works like magic due to people being unable to save or screenshot your profile picture. To see if the new "profile picture guard" feature is working, you can ask a friend to visit your Facebook page and try to snip or screenshot your profile photo and wait for what will happen. So sorry to say but the days of stealing people’s profile pics is about to come to an end and many won’t like this. If you stay outside India, then you have to be patient until Facebook rolls out the feature to every other part of the world. The amazing thing is Facebook declared that it "hope[s] to expand to other countries soon." If you want to preserve the life span of your laptop, then avoid these 5 ways you're killing your laptop and follow the preventive measures listed. 1. No Regular Maintenance If you attach so much importance to your Laptop, I don’t see reasons why you shouldn’t perform regular maintenance on it. They may be portable and useful, but also needs to be taking care of. As you continue to save files on the hard drive, the files keeps increasing, and may result to errors or end up crashing due to negligence. Do the right thing today – perform a backup and carry out maintenance on your laptop. 2. Touching The Laptop Screen In A Way That Suggests You Really Want It To Get Damaged There are touch screen laptops and non-touch screen laptops available today. The difference is that touch screen laptop allows users to interact directly with it by using single or multi-touch gestures on the screen with the help of the fingers while the non-touch uses a mouse. Some years back, my laptop screen got damaged because of direct contact with it and I ended up spending N10,000 Naira to replace it. Always be careful when touching the screen of your computer, prevent dirty hands and rough handling. Not everybody will be able to afford a laptop with a gorilla glass screen so it’s important you safe guard it. 3. Charging Your Laptop With Third-Party Chargers One of the worst mistakes you can ever make is to consider using a third-party charger to power your laptop. Avoid it like a plague because at the long run, your laptop battery life span may diminish quicker than expected. Also, note that each laptop has different amperage and voltage (which converts into wattage) specified by the manufacturer to be used with it and neglecting the instruction can lead to the battery getting fried like a chicken (*literally!) or exploding (*didn’t mean to scare you). The best thing to do is to charge your laptop with the charger shipped with it when it was bought. In a blog post at Technology Is Before Anything Else (http://www.techisbae.com), I said “In order to make Nigerian cities become productive, protected and livable, certain things have to be put in place throughout the cities. The time is now and I believe Nigerians have a role to play in it.” That statement was geared towards Internet of Things – the ‘now big thing’ spoken about everywhere you go. Recently, Nigeria is making efforts to start implementing IoT within its surroundings, how many blogs are following the events as they unfold? We know there are many technology blogs in Nigeria and only few are focused on Internet of Things (IoT). This a wake-up call for intending bloggers and already existing ones to make effort to push IoT in Nigeria cause it will make a big difference. SOURCE: http://www.techisbae.com/2017/06/robot-priests-will-they-be-able-to-cast-out-demons.html Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella once said that “The beauty of machines and humans working in tandem gets lost in the discussion about whether AI is a good thing or a bad thing”. Should robots be permitted to be everything humans are? Even to the extent of becoming a priest? Religious fanatics won’t like this. Wittenberg , a small German town unveiled a robot priest to mark the commemoration of when Reformation started. The robot had the ability to deliver blessings in five languages such as German, English, Spanish, French and Polish. It allowed worshipers to choose whether they preferred a male or female voice. The Reformation which was introduced by Martin Luther was a widespread theological revolt in Europe against the abuses and totalitarian control of the Roman Catholic Church. What do you ladies and gentlemen think about this? READ THE FULL STORY: http://www.techisbae.com/2017/06/robot-priests-will-they-be-able-to-cast-out-demons.html

They can be operated by using remotes or on-board computers. DRONE APPLICATIONS Drones are used in various ways across the world today; here are few areas where drones can be used. Security The current security crisis in Nigeria is disheartening. There exist irreconcilable social, economic and political grievances among ethnic groups in the country. Distinctive groups engage in criminal activities, people use violence to settle issues, and child rape cases are increasing daily. Violence has soared in Nigeria and this is where drones come in to save the day. Drones can be used by authorities, military, police, and many experts across the country to protect lives.
