1.Dim the screen
You are required to dim the screen of your device, by doing so your device will consume less energy. Most smartphones has this feature and it is mostly located at the settings page.
2.Close apps when not in use
It is recommended that you should close apps when not in use because they may still be running in the background and this consumes battery.
3.Use the extra power saving mode if it is present
Some Android phones, Galaxy S5, HTC devices and others have the power saving mode. This can get extra hours of standby time out of just a few remaining percentage points of battery.
4.Disable push notifications for less valued apps
The push notification is useful because it notifies you of new emails, Twitter mention, Facebook activities, whatsapp messages but at the same time it consumes your battery. What you have to do is to turn it off or disable the unimportant ones.
5.Turn off Bluetooth, GPS, Radios, Wi-Fi, NFC and LTE.
All these are great but they consumes more amount of your battery. Try to off them if you’re not using them.
6.Monitor your signal strength
When you have little or no cellular connection your phones battery will drain quickly because the phone is constantly searching for a signal, which requires power. All you have to do is to enable Airplane mode if you don’t need data or voice calls.
7.Charge your battery
When your battery is getting low try to charge. Don’t over charge your battery because almost all batteries are Lithium-Ion battery. Overcharging can cause the battery to explode.

Now statistically speaking, our belove nation Nigeria has a population of about and around 150million people. Also statistically speaking, we shamefully have just 39,000 medical doctors in our belove country. What a shame right? Now, if you're good in maths or probably you attended a private primary school like I did, you will know that our belove Nigeria has a doctor-to-patient ratio of one doctor to 6,400 patients. Despite the fact that one doctor cannot possibly handle 6,400 patients, yet they (government) said that, we are sending 250 doctors to the Ebola - ravaged countries to help them fight the virus. Meaning, We shall be short of 250 doctors out of the pitiable 39,000 Now, our government leaves us in the hands of nurses and matrons, nurses that are harsh, lazy, un-nice and ignorant of the occupation called nurse. Matrons, those fat, big-behind elderly women who does nothing but insult junior nurses and patients, especially pregnant women.
Now that's why my lovely sister (Janet) died pregnant in a hospital. Now that's why my little innocent niece (Ruth) died at a tender age in a hospital. Now that's why those loved ones of yours died in our hospitals Now that's why when a family member falls sick, we have sleepless nights and fears for the worse.
