Sports / Aguero Scores Five In City’s 6-1 Win Over Newcastle by Philtrik(m): 5:17pm On Oct 03, 2015

Sergio Aguero scored five goals in 23 minutes for Manchester City as they came from behind to beat Newcastle United 6-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

Newcastle took a shock lead after 18 minutes through Aleksandar Mitrovic's header, before Aguero levelled things up three minutes before half-time from close range.

Aguero put City 3-1 up after the break with two goals in two minutes, before Kevin De Bruyne's deft finish put the hosts out of reach.

The unstoppable Aguero added a fourth for himself and a fifth for City on the hour mark, and then another from De Bruyne's cross on 62 minutes, completing an incredible 23-minute spell to put his side 6-1 up against a shell-shocked Newcastle.

The win returns City to the top of the Premier League, while Newcastle manager Steve McClaren remains without a league win after eight games.

Sports / Chelsea And Newcastle Shares Points At St James’ Park by Philtrik(m): 7:59pm On Sep 26, 2015

Late goals from substitutes Ramires and Willian denied Newcastle their first win of the season as Chelsea fought back to claim a 2-2 draw at St James' Park.

Steve McClaren's side were much the better team in the first 45 minutes of the Saturday Night Football contest in the Premier League and the Magpies took the lead in the 42nd minute thanks to Ayoze Perez's strike.

Chelsea came out with renewed intensity after the interval but they found themselves 2-0 down when Georginio Wijnaldum stole a march on the Chelsea defence to head home Perez's cross.

Jose Mourinho reacted by throwing on Ramires and Willian and it was the Brazilian substitutes who came to the Portuguese manager's rescue with two strikes in the last 11 minutes to earn a point.

Ramires could have won it late on but was denied by Tim Krul and the result means McClaren is still awaiting his first Premier League win as Newcastle boss, while Mourinho is still yet to taste victory in the league at St James' Park.

Sports / Capello: I Admire Mourinho And Mihajlovic by Philtrik(m): 6:51pm On Sep 26, 2015

Former England boss Fabio Capello revealed to La Gazzetta dello Sport that he admires Jose Mourinho and AC Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic.

“I admire Jose Mourinho because he always has clear ideas,” the Italian told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He knows where to go and what to do.

“For the same reason, I like Mihajlovic.”

Capello won four Serie A titles with AC Milan, where he also won the 1993–94 UEFA Champions League, defeating Barcelona4–0 in a memorable final. He then spent a year at Real Madrid, where he won the La Liga title at his first attempt, and in 2001 led Roma to their first league title in 18 years. Capello also won two titles at Juventus (which were later stripped after the Calciopoli scandal), and in 2006 returned to Real Madrid, where he won another La Liga title. Overall he has won a major league championship in seven (or nine, counting the two revoked titles with Juventus) of his 16 seasons as a coach. He is regarded as one of the greatest managers of all time.

Sports / Lionel Messi Out For Two Months by Philtrik(m): 6:07pm On Sep 26, 2015

Lionel Messi faces up to two months on the sidelines after the Barcelona forward tore knee ligaments against Las Palmas on Saturday.

The No 10 was involved in a collision with Pedro Bigas inside just 10 minutes of La Blaugrana’s 2-1 victory over the new boys after he took a knock from the defender just before a one-on-one with Javi Varas.

Messi initially stayed down before getting back on his feet, but he quickly realised that he could not continue and was subsequently replaced by Munir El Haddadi.

He was then taken to hospital, where he underwent tests, and early reports pointed towards a strain, which would have ruled the Argentine out for up to three weeks.

However, Barca have since confirmed on their official website that he tore his ligament and is expected to miss between seven and eight weeks as a result.

The attacker could now miss the Clasico against Real Madrid on November 21.

Sports / Rooney Scores As United Beat Sunderland 3-0 by Philtrik(m): 5:55pm On Sep 26, 2015

Wayne Rooney was on the score sheet as Manchester United leapfrogged rivals City to go top of the Premier League after a 3-0 win over Sunderland at Old Trafford.

Memphis Depay put Louis van Gaal's men in front on the stroke of half-time, before Rooney finally ended his longest Premier League goal drought and Juan Mata scored in stoppage time to seal the points.

Sunderland offered very little as an attacking force, and the victory was comfortable in the end for United.

United traded places with City after they slipped to a 4-1 defeat at Tottenham in Saturday's early kick-off and, despite a laboured first-half display, fans can start dreaming of title success once more.

David de Gea was the first goalkeeper called into action, keeping out a fierce Fabio Borini drive with his legs as the visitors pressed.

However, in first-half stoppage time United found that killer pass, and got themselves in front.

Daley Blind showed great vision to pick out Juan Mata over the top of the Sunderland defence, who then delightfully played the ball across into the path of Memphis, who beat Billy Jones to the ball to tap in.

Then, less than a minute into the second-half, Old Trafford breathed a huge sigh of relief as their captain finally found his scoring boots.

This was all about Anthony Martial. The French forward used his pace and power to get to the byline, fired the ball across goal, and Rooney managed to bundle the ball home, via his knee. Not pretty, but he won't care one bit.

Cattermole and Rooney clash early on
Sunderland had a great chance to get back in it, but De Gea stood tall and blocked Patrick van Aanholt's strike to keep United in a comfortable position.

Mata brought the best out of Costel Pantilimon from the edge of the box but he was more clinical in stoppage time to make sure of the three points for United.

Ashley Young got himself one-on-one with Jones, beat him to the byline, whipped the ball into Mata, who killed the ball brilliantly with one touch, before firing into the roof of the net.

Sports / Match Report: Tottenham 4 – 1 Man City – Sep 26 by Philtrik(m): 3:23pm On Sep 26, 2015

Harry Kane ended his 13-hour wait for a goal as Tottenham thrashed Manchester City 4-1 and sealed a third successive Premier League win.

The England striker made it 3-1 on 61 minutes after Christian Eriksen's free-kick bounced back off the crossbar, as Spurs brilliantly came from behind following Kevin de Bruyne's first-half opener.

De Bruyne was marginally offside as he finished off a swift City break on 25 minutes, and the officials failed to spot another offside as Eric Dier equalised for the hosts on the stroke of half-time.

Eric Dier of Tottenham Hotspur celebrates scoring his team's first goal
But there was nothing wrong with Toby Alderweireld's header that put Spurs in front before Eric Lamela brilliantly rounded the Willy Caballero to bag his side's fourth late on.

City set up to deliberately use their superb defensive record - the best in the league before kick-off - and hit Tottenham on the break, but they only really hurt the hosts once in this fashion, when they scored the opener.

After neat Spurs moves had twice set-up Lamela for shooting chances, Kyle Walker gave the ball away on the edge of the City box and allowed Yaya Toure to break with pace before slotting in De Bruyne, whose right leg was offside before firing into the bottom corner.

Kevin De Bruyne opens the scoring for Manchester City after a fast counter attack
But Spurs hit back immediately, with Heung-Min Son forcing Caballero into a save, and they deserved to go in level at the break, despite Walker being some four yards offside in the build-up to their 45th-minute leveller.

Walker was slotted through on the right-hand side and then crossed for Son, whose shot was smothered by Cabellero, but the ball was cleared only as far as Dier, and the midfielder rifled home his second goal of the season via the post.

Tottenham remained on top after the interval, and after Kane was felled wide on the right-hand side, Alderweireld nodded in his first goal of the season from Lamela's excellent delivery, giving Spurs a 50th-minute lead.

Lamela wrapped up an emphatic victory with a deserved goal of his own when his tenacity beat the last defender just inside the box, and then the outstretched Cabellero, before he fired into an empty net with 11 minutes remaining.

A new petition has started "PayPal:Allow Nigeria PayPal Users to "Receive Money"" and need your help to get it off the ground.
Will you take 30 seconds to sign it right now?
Here's the link:
http:// www.change.org/p/paypal-allow-nigeria-paypal-users-to-receive-money
.
Here's why it's important:
Nigerian has a large economy and marketplace when it comes to e-commerce and digital business, there are a lot of goods and services payment using PayPal since the activation of Nigerian users on PayPal, if PayPal can allow Nigerian on PayPal to only pay for goods and send money, It is high time PayPal allow Nigeria account holders to receive money because a lots of eCommerce business is being created everyday in Nigeria which needs a good payment system like PayPal that does not disclose payment system, people prefer to pay for goods using PayPal linked to their Debit/Credit Cards to every other payment system.
This is a petition to unlock PayPal full feature services to Nigeria for the growth in the Nigerian e-Commerce system and businesses operating over the internet.
We render services like Web Design services or sales of Digital Goods to clients everyday both in Nigeria and other countries who intend to pay us via PayPal but we are unable to do so due to no access to "Receive Money".
Most times we pay for goods and services like Web Hosting using our PayPal account, in case the hosting services decide to issue us a refund due to some cases with satisfaction of service or pay us for participating in their affiliate program but we are unable to do so due to no access to "Receive Money"
We Nigerians using PayPal sign this petition to appeal to PayPal to at least enable Receive Money and Withdraw Money for only theVerified Accounts and Linked Credit/Debit Card or Partner with Nigerian BANKS to enable "Receive Money" feature now that Nigeria has implemented a more secure banking environment since the introduction of unique Bank Verification Number (BVN) for every citizen carrying out any financial transaction. This has drastically reduce the rate of fraud activities in the country.
We need "Receive Money" feature for Nigeria PayPal account holders and merchants.
We have chosen PayPal as the most secure payment system we can ever rely on as it satisfy the Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements. PCI security standards are minimum requirements for protecting customers' payment card information. Adopted by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and JCB, PCI compliance is required for all merchants that store, transmit, or process payment card information.
.
Please SIGN this petition to elevate Nigeria in the global payment system because PayPal is the most secure payment system in the world.
