chino24: Because we warned Ngige not to bring the curse of boko and ofemmmanu party on our soil. I personally saw Ngige scampering for safety. At this your young age, you sound this frustrated about life, very bigoted.Mark my words, in the Nigeria of tomorrow, there wont be a place for you. Mark my words again and again. |
Agathabishen: bros it is high time we start creating something indigenous. something that is truly nigerian am not scared of the cost of web designingGood to know but its complicated with indigenous developers. Most of them still use Indian firms. And by the way, I like your idea. I have just done an academic piece on ecommerce in Sub-saharan Africa. Could send you some documents, lots of things are involved. I ll send you a list of about 80 ecommerce businesses that have come up in the past 5 years and you check out their situations, its not funny at all. Its obvious you really have passion for this stuff but before you final embark, see the progress report. |

Agathabishen: i need a e-commerce website and for now my target is nigeria. i want nigerians to sign up to own a webstore on my website where they can post their advert for free. There is this one I once subscribed for http://www.magentocommerce.com/. It is already configured, you just buy and tweak it the way you want and I think they are UK based. I understand a number of ecommerce business in Nigeria even use them.No need for any webdesign etc. Just check |
I really like this testimony and its for one thing. You meet several people who complain of not having jobs and yet when you ask if they have ever written any tests let alone make it to the finals, they ll say no. So how do you want to have a job. Some come up with the excuse of grade, yet I know several people with very poor grades who have written several tests and even gotten jobs. I have a cousin who was at home for some time, so I asked him how far, he said no test no employment. I did his CV again, posted around from jobs I saw online. I actually did 7 for him He has gotten invitation for 2, written 1 and unable to make the test for the 2nd. Nigerian graduates should learn to be dogged and persistent. If some folks tell you how much they have had to search before they found, you ll be shocked. Yet when you give some people internet facility, they ll sleep on facebook and come complain they dont have jobs Good inspiration there Taiwo. |
@Godysiedn Kindly delete your post. I did not want to quote you so it does not linger. Your attitude is poor and this can land you in trouble. You can be isolated. No matter what, learn not to include peoples name in public posts. |
Agathabishen: thanks all for your contributions, however some contribution are just off the topic. i said i need a guide on how to own e-commerce website like www.kaymu.com and someone is giving me link to a affiliate marketing website.. I remember i once placed an advert here for web developer, the only guy i found worthy came to my office to start the work and by the time he finished, I was worse off. Had to cancel the project and left the initial payments with him. Lots of folks here just want to sell not mindful of your needs or questions and without any expertise. |
When they hear its happening, they jump into the bus without thinking. All for money and power. By the way, why them no use aeroplane sef. Just to know these are some people mothers going through avoidable pains. It is well with them |

The Freedom House report was published on Thursday. Nigeria is gradually receding into a repressive state, the Freedom in the World 2013 report, published Thursday by a global think tank, Freedom House, has shown. The Freedom in the World annual survey is a comparative assessment of global political rights and civil liberties. It is globally used by policy makers and international corporations to “monitor trends in democracy and track improvements and setbacks in freedom worldwide. The report shows that that Nigeria is slowly sliding into a repressive state even as many African countries are rapidly climbing from repression into freer states. The country scored four out of seven possible points and was rated a partly free state. One is the best possible point on the survey and it indicates a free state. The report shows that Egypt, Cote d’Ivoire, Lesotho, Libya, Senegal and Sierra Leone are some of the countries with improved political rights and civil liberties. According to the report, worsening corruption, and the brutal manner last January’s fuel-subsidy protest was quelled by the government are negative indications of a trend towards asphyxiating political rights and civil liberties in the country. It also highlighted limitation of freedom of movement in Northern Nigeria due to the Boko Haram insurgency as another reason for the countries downward review. Non electoral democracy While neighbouring countries such as Benin, and Niger were hailed as free states, with study democratic structure, in a glaring indictment of the country’s political process, the survey tagged Nigeria as a non-electoral democracy. The report states that a country is stripped of its elected democracy status “if its last national elections were not sufficiently free and fair, or if changes in laws significantly eroded the public’s opportunity for electoral choice.” This shameful categorisation is coming on the heels of last December’s classification of the country as an authoritarian regime by the Global Terrorism Index http://premiumtimesng.com/news/115669-nigeria-receding-to-repressive-state-global-report.html |
Wall Street Bosses Are Calling This 'The Best Cover Letter Ever' - But Not Everyone Agrees - Forbes http://www.forbes.com/sites/crossingbord... Shocker. It seems that ‘humble’ could actually work on Wall Street. Well, at least for the brutally honest and hilariously self-deprecating young student, whose cover letter publicized on Business Insider, has generated a ton of positive interest amongst investment banking bosses. Perhaps unsurprisi…
