I won't blame anyone who is expressing any doubt about the reality of the Ebola virus here, especially, the way America wanted to stage a cold war against Nigeria with their customary arm twisting tactics. First, they made the whole world to believe that they have what it takes to get rid of the Ebola menace. They used their biased media to overhype the situation the way they did to " CHIBOK ABDUCTION? ", all in the name of pressuring our government to beg them for the drugs, so that they will line up long list of conditions which includes repealing of gay prohibition law, minimization of Nigeria’s friendship to China, reconsideration of slave vs master style economic trade partnership which Nigeria refused to be part of. If I'm wrong, then someone must explain to me why they refused to include Nigeria in the ebola affected countries that will receive their " Ebola drugs "? Even when it was becoming obvious that Nigeria is making progress in the search for the cure, they used one of their agencies to play it down by calling our drugs, pesticide. IMAGINE.
I believe that Ebola virus is real, but the dramas around it is joke taken too far.

After their National Convention, it would scatter, yet it's waxing stronger.

APC would scatter if Atiku ain't elected as their Presidential Candidate come October - Talktimi (and his cahoots)

They keeping wishing APC death, but He has been disgracing them (Jonathanians/PDP). They've tried all possible means, but none is working out for them. These so-called party wannabes wouldn't be registered because their mission is known.

Lest I forget, GEJ is leaving Aso Rock come 2015!

AUGUST 24, 2014 BY ADE ADESOMOJU, ABUJA

The All Progressives Congress has raised the alarm over an alleged plot to relaunch acronym war against it.

The party said in a statement, by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on Sunday, that those behind the plot are “unscrupulous and apparently-hired hands”.

Mohammed said the those plotting against the party were “seeking to register three new parties that bear the acronyms of the same parties that merged to become the APC”.

The party had faced similar threat when other organisations had struggled for the APC acronym with it after emerging from the merger of opposition parties.

Its statement read on Sunday, “Those behind the phantom parties, who are apparently working at the behest of people who have a mortal fear of the APC, have applied to the Independent National Electoral Commission to register the Allied Council of Nigeria; Advanced National Patriotic Party and Conservative People’s Congress.

“The fact that the acronyms of the three entities tally with those of the APC component parties (ACN, ANPP and CPC) is not accidental, but a grand design by those who have been having sleepless nights since the APC was registered.

”It is worthy of note that the three applications to INEC for the registration of the three organisations as political parties were made on the same day. Apparently, common sense takes flight in the face of great desperation!

”Their plan is simple: Once the parties are registered, they will then apply to change their logos to those of the original ACN, ANPP and CPC, and then hope to be on the ballot for next year’s general elections. Just before the elections, the sponsors of the phantom parties will then send out messages saying the APC has splintered into its component parties for the purpose of the election.

“Whatever happens, their plan is to confuse the electorate and hamper the electoral fortunes of the APC.”

APC called on INEC not to succumb to the antics of those who are planning to sabotage the 2015 general elections and win elections by subterfuge.

It said, ”This acronym battle is a part of the larger war against our party to prevent its registration. Nigerians will recollect that the same people, apparently, applied to register a phantom APC the moment it became clear that our merger would succeed and that INEC would register our party, having met all the requirements to consummate the merger.

”Thankfully, INEC refused to compromis e its neutrality and integrity and chose to act in accordance with the law by registering our party. We urge the electoral body to do the same now, in the face of unprecedented desperation by those who believe they can only win elections by cutting corners.”

APC also called on Nigerians to be vigilant as the 2015 elections approach, saying those who are now coming to terms with the reality that the APC is a viable alternative in the country’s political firmament will stop at nothing to seek to mar the electoral fortunes of the party.

Billyonaire: Biometric Database of a country is contracted to an American firm ? The Federal Government MUST learn to use our Nigerian developed softwares for security purpose. You cant just handover all our data to NSA powered institutions.

I will NOT register.
I believe that the reason you gave for not registering is not reasonable in any way. May I ask you, which part of your personal information do you think is of any importance to NSA if you're not a trans border criminal or a Terrorist? Both MTN, Airtel and Etisalat are all foreign companies in possession of personal information of millions of Nigerians including you, if NSA want any of the information from any of them, including Glo, an indigenous company, is a matter of pinch of a button.

An Educationalist, Mr. Iyola Fadiya, on Saturday commended the Federal Government’s quick response to combat Ebola virus disease outbreak in the country.
Fadiya told the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja that the Federal and the Lagos State government took proactive steps to stop the virus from spreading.
He said that government had actually done well to create awareness on the virus as well as providing the needful to fight the disease.
According to him, other states and local governments in the country should intensify efforts in their preventive measures against the deadly disease.
He also urged the stakeholders, non-governmental organisation and international bodies to assist in addressing the plague in West Africa.
Also, Mrs. Nike Aluko, an environmentalist, told NAN that the Federal Government should be applauded for the steps taken so far in tackling Ebola Virus Disease in Nigeria.Aluko, however, said that much is still needed to be done to prevent the disease from spreading to all parts of the country.

OrlandoOwoh: I've always wondered why any American that contracts it survives while those in West Africa die.
You never can say, America has a way of hiding anything that will put the name of their country to shame and magnify other people's little problem. Do you know whether the ebola patients which America are deceiving the the world that they're improving, are dead? If truly that their ebola medication is working, why we've not started hearing the improvement of conditions of ebola patients in Liberia and Sierra Leone where they supplied their drugs.
