PoliticsRe: Amaechi Is The Lion Of Africa – Dele Momodu by phoenix28: 3:56pm On Oct 21, 2015
Dele Momodu the pig of Yorubaland, you are our biggest scavenger export to the world. Continue to grow fat on waste.
We uphold your great contribution to national development by associating with known looters, building hotels in Ghana.
What favour do you require from Ameachi? A leopard never changes its coat.
EducationRe: Amosun Sacks Workers For Setting ‘offensive’ Exam Questions - PUNCH by phoenix28: 9:36am On Aug 13, 2015
It is so sad Nigeria and indeed Ogun state degenerated to the level where the most useless and incompetent now direct our affairs. Amosun a guy that is educational history are all contentious. Let him display his 4 credit o'level result for the nation ,or the fact that his internship date and OND result clash or the so called nonexistent degree he profess to get from University of Westminster.
The fact that all the elders in the state have turned a blind for receiving due patronage in the looting of the state. God will judge OBJ, Ahoy - Soyinka , HRH Awujale , All other royal fathers and a host of others. OGD was bad but Ibikunle Amosun is the worst. Now we have the change we clamour for . I have always said a genuine change is not APC but parties like NCP or KOWA.

TravelRe: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by phoenix28: 2:04pm On Jun 20, 2015
Hello house, I am making enquiries on behalf of a family friend, he applied for dependant spouse visa Tier1 in January but was given appeal, he appealed and wife sent all documents in preparation for an appearance at the appeal because she is based in the UK. The husband was invited to Abuja last April to collect all supporting documents on the appeal but no information was given on the appeal status. Recently the wife was informed that an Appeal date will be fixed by 3rd July 2015 through her MP. My enquiries are how soon the appeal might be held and how long it takes to give a visa after an appeal is won. The wife intends to be in Nigeria for work related activity from July to September.
Foreign AffairsRe: PHOTO: SA Lists States That Helped Their Apartheid Fight - Nigeria Not Listed! by phoenix28: 3:48pm On Apr 29, 2015
This is one of the reasons toinclude history into our educational system , South Africa can decide to recognise whoever they deem right to, I can still remember Nigeria's contribution namely awareness, financial( governrment , individuals, schools etc) , training , military aid.
We know South Africa has got rivalry issues with Nigeria but we have given them chance to disrespect us all in the name of politics , a good example was the seized cash meant for arms purchase. He who care can read the links below ,I have decided not to include Nigerian sources to eliminate bias.

PoliticsRe: Amaechi Threatens Mass Protest Against Poll Shift by phoenix28: 4:16pm On Feb 07, 2015
What is the problem with this noise making Ameachi, 8 years (House of Assembly -PDP) , 8 years (Governor PDP/APC) , when did he become a social right apologist. He will lead his wife ,kids and fellow vikings who desire to follow him on protest. In a sane country he is a national risk.
EducationRe: Top 10 Universities In Nigeria 2015 by phoenix28: 10:50am On Jan 28, 2015
This is a ranking of popularity not standard.
"Universities and Colleges are ranked by our exclusive 4icu.org University Web Ranking. The ranking has been published since May 2005. Since then the ranking methodology has been periodically fine-tuned in order to provide better results.

The current ranking is based upon an algorithm including five unbiased and independent web metrics extracted from three different search engines:

Google Page Rank
Alexa Traffic Rank
Majestic Seo Referring Domains
Majestic Seo Citation Flow
Majestic Seo Trust Flow

Web metrics data are collected on the same day to minimize temporal fluctuations and maximize comparibility. A pre-computational filter is adopted to detect outliers in the raw data. Further investigation and a review of Alexa Traffic Rank data is carried out for universities adopting a subdomain (highly not recommended) as their official institutional home page.

Once filtered (outliers) and reviewed (subdomains), web metrics data are normalised to a scale of 0 to 100 taking into consideration the logarithmic nature in which both the Google Page Rank and the Alexa Traffic Rank are expressed. The three normalised values are aggregated based on a weighted average algorithm which generates the final score and web ranking.

The exact formula adopted to aggregate the three web metrics is not disclosed for copyright reasons and to minimise attempts of manipulation from university webmasters in order to achieve better rankings. The same philosophy is adopted by Google with regards to their search engine ranking algorithm. Being the 4icu.org University Web Ranking a non-academic ranking, the need for ranking methodology transparency and the ability of testing and reproducing the results, as suggested by the Berlin Principles on Ranking of Higher Education Institutions, is less stringent than for academic rankings.

The aim of this website is to provide an approximate popularity ranking of world Universities and Colleges based upon the popularity of their websites. This is intended to help international students and academic staff to understand how popular a specific University/College is in a foreign country.

We do not claim - by any means - to rank organisations or their programs, by the quality of education or level of services provided. The 4icu.org University Web Ranking is not an academic ranking and should not be adopted as the main criteria for selecting a higher education organization where to study".

SportsLiverpool Signs Oshoala Asisat by phoenix28(op): 3:17pm On Jan 23, 2015
New Liverpool signing Asisat Oshoala is "one of the best young players in the world", says Reds boss Matt Beard.
Oshoala won both the Golden Boot and Golden Ball - as Player of the Tournament - at last year's Under-20 World Cup Finals, and becomes the first player from Africa to compete in the Women's Super League.
"We beat a number of top American and European clubs to Asisat's signature," said Beard as he welcomed the 20-year-old striker. "Asisat is one of the best young players in the world."
In addition to her star performances in the U20 World Cup, Oshoala also collected the Golden Ball award as the senior Nigeria team qualified for the 2015 World Cup by winning the African Women's Championship.

PoliticsRe: NEMA Spokeman Loses Position For Criticising Okonjo-Iweala by phoenix28: 8:04pm On Apr 19, 2013
Enough of this brouhaha about Okonjo Iweala , I will like to know her qualification to serve Nigeria,
I mean her moral justification , did she ever partake in the national youth service ?
We are still suffering from her Benetton/IMF backed debt payment package. Nigeria is the only nation in the world that paid her debt and there was no strengthening of the currency.

Prosperity will judge her, she was a major minister in the failing government of GEJ and there will be no excuse on her part in the future.I will not await another after my service best seller like El-rufai.
Until she comes out to exonerate herself I will like to believe all this insinuation about her personality to be true.
Did Shuaibu comment about the government in past ? If yes what was the reaction ?Time will tell
