Politics / Buhari Is The Most Nepotic President Ever by Phreshkid20(m): 12:43pm On Mar 02, 2018
"Mamman Daura’s daughter, who is married to one of the Dantatas, is the S.A to the CBN governor. Then Buhari’s sister’s son is also an S.A to Kachikwu, the junior minister of petroleum resources. The chief personal security officer to the president, DCP Abdulkarim Dauda is Mamman Daura’s younger brother. The chief security officer (CSO) Col Bashir Abubakar is also married into the family. The State chief of protocol, Lawal Kazaure, who has not reached the rank of an ambassador, is also married to Mamman Daura’s eldest daughter. I mentioned earlier that the P.A to the President, Sabiu Yusuf Tunde, who is in his 20’s, is one of the wealthiest 20-year-olds in Nigeria. He is also the son of Mamman Daura’s immediate younger sister. She herself is a niece to Buhari. And that is how the country is being governed. “The national commissioner at INEC is Buhari’s niece. In addition, her husband, who used to be a manager in UBA, died. Now when an opportunity arose, they went and picked the late husband’s younger brother and made him Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). He is Brig Gen Zakari from Kazaure in Jigawa State.” ~~~ Junaid Muhammad.
Politics / Nigeria Needs Restructuring And Not Youth Leaders In 2019.. by Phreshkid20(m): 6:34pm On Feb 25, 2018
DON'T GET IT TWISTED Besides the recycling of OBJ and Buhari, Nigeria has ALWAYS been governed by youthful leaders. Tafawa Balewa was 48 Aguiyi Ironsi was 42 Yakubu Gowon was 32 Murtala Mohammed was 37 Olusegun Obasanjo was 39 Shehu Shahari was 54 Mohammadu Buhari was 42 Ibrahim Babangida was 44 Umaru Yar'Adua was 56 (oldest) Goodluck Jonathan was 53 If you have no clue, you have no clue regardless of your age. Buhari at 42 years is as terrible as Buhari of 73 years old in idea. The focus of 2019 shouldn't be about this youthfulness mantra all over the place but what you are bringing to the table. For me, if you are not talking about RESTRUCTURING NIGERIA, I am against you. I don't care if you are 22 years old. This age thing is beginning to suppress the main issues. This update is for your memory upgrade.

Sullivan Chime of Enugu joined APC his trial with EFCC developed a cataract Since Gov. Isa Yuguda joined APC his trial with EFCC suddenly developed hearing problems. Since Senator Musiliu Obanikoro joined APC his trial with the EFCC suddenly developed malaria. And Buhari is Mr. Integrity? God will punish some people soon and send them to hell fire.

Politics / Fashola Vindicates Jonathan by Phreshkid20(m): 12:54pm On Feb 13, 2018
As Fashola Vindicates Former President Jonathan. At various occasions since coming to power on May 29, 2015, both President Muhammadu Buhari and his lying parrot, Lai Mohammed, have attempted to sell the false narrative that the Jonathan administration and the Peoples Democratic Party, destroyed Nigeria’s economy and handed over a collapsed polity and are the reason for the current comatose condition of the nation’s fiscal and financial systems. For instance, on the 14th of August, 2017, President Buhari, speaking through his spokesman, Garba Shehu, said: “With due respects to the former President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, these are the facts about the economy you left behind, in case you have forgotten. I hope this will help to erase the wrong statement credited to you at your party, the PDP Convention at the Eagle Square last weekend that you handed to President Buhari a robustly healthy economy. Let me start by reasserting an obvious statement, which is that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration was handed an economy ravaged by years of mismanagement and corruption.” Again, lying Lai Mohammed had also as recently as the 26th of January 2018, in an interview with the Sun Newspaper, said as follows: “I think it will be tragedy for this country for PDP to come back because they have not even apologised to the nation for how they had destroyed our economy, destroyed our infrastructure, destroyed our quality, and so far from their campaign, ask them how they will do it better when they get there.” However, in keeping with the principle that no matter how far and fast falsehood has traveled, it must eventually be overtaken by truth, Babatunde Raji Fashola, the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, has exposed both his boss, President Buhari, and his colleague, Lying Lai Mohammed, as liars who will say anything, no matter how untrue, to cling to power and demonize former President Jonathan and the PDP. Speaking on February 1, 2018 at a civil society engagement workshop on the Power Sector Recovery Programme in Abuja, Fashola in trying to defend himself from allegations of ineptitude as regards the epileptic power supply in the country, ended up vindicating both Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP, albeit unintentionally. At that event, Mr. Fashola said: “We hear all our so-called experts who say (non-availability of) power is why the economy of Nigeria is not growing. That is not factual and it is not correct. At the time when we had less power in 2013 and 2014, the economy of this country was growing at seven per cent per annum. We had less power then than we have now, but the economy was growing.” Nigerians can now see that Mr. Fashola, in a Freudian slip, was made by God, to expose the truth that his boss, his party and his colleagues have been trying to suppress for the past three years, namely that former President Jonathan developed and grew Nigeria’s economy at an unprecedented and consistent growth rate of over 6% per annum and handed over a thriving economy that was projected by CNNMoney to be the third fastest growing economy in the world when Dr. Jonathan handed over power to President Buhari. Unfortunately, due to the ineptitude of the Buhari administration, a booming economy became an economy in recession in just one year under the All Progressive Congress. And this is not the only recent example of the vindication of former President Jonathan by the Buhari administration. Only recently, lying Lai Mohammed responded to the letter by former President Olusegun Obasanjo by claiming that the Buhari administration had increased the nation’s foreign reserve from the $24 billion it met it to $40 billion. The question for Lai Mohammed is this: From who did Buhari inherit the $24 billion? From ghosts? From Killer Fulani herdsmen? In light of the vindicating statements by Raji Fashola, I hereby call on both President Muhammadu Buhari and lying Lai Mohammed to tender an unreserved apology to former President Jonathan sad the PDP and to henceforth commit to returning Nigeria’s economy at least to the state that they met it when Dr. Jonathan handed over power to them on May 28, 2015.
Politics / Why Do We Sympathise With Buhari? by Phreshkid20(m): 11:59am On Feb 13, 2018
Is it only Buhari that grieves when his relations die? Don't Benue people grieve too? Is it only Buhari that is devastated when his son, Yusuf, is rushed to hospital? Don't Benue people also love their sons and daughters that were killed by killer Fulani herdsmen? So why is Buhari receiving sympathizers yet he couldn't sympathize with Benue? I was sick reading sycophants heap hypocritical condolence on Buhari and Buratai for losing relatives. To those sycophants that went to Aso Rock to 'sympathize' with Buhari on the loss of his in law, please ask him why he did not visit Benue to sympathize' with Nigerians who lost parents and children to Buhari's killer Fulani herdsmen kinsmen? Don’t they have feelings like Buhari?
Politics / Stop Buhari 2019 by Phreshkid20(m): 3:29pm On Dec 24, 2017
My country Nigeria.....!! Only in Nigeria my country a failure can be rewarded with a fresh mandate. Only in our country we perpetuate impunity and stupidly celebrate mediocrity. Only in this part of the world called Nigeria my country, politics can stand in the way of decency and human sensibilities . We can not continue like this if we really want our country to be seen as a worthy and developed member of the comity of nation. President Buhari is a total failure and administrative disgrace in all sectors of our economy and we must hold ourselves to higher standards, tell these pretenders that the future of our children and our entire nation is more important than the re- election of Muhammadu Buhari presidency.. We are all suffering in this country and we must take responsibility as necessary to stop Buhari 2019. God blessed us

Politics / Thank You Obi Of Onitsha Lgwe Alfred Achebe For Redeeming The Lgbo Pride. by Phreshkid20(m): 8:30pm On Nov 19, 2017
President Buhari ordered lgwe Achebe , the Obi of Onitsha to come to Akwa Anambra state capital to receive him. He refused. -Obi of Onitsha lgwe Achebe ordered Buhari to come down to Onitsha and pay homage to him as the traditional ruler or go to hell. Buhari refused. -APC reacted in anger and saw Achebe’s behaviour as an insult to the office of the President. Buhari could not have ordered the Sultan of Sokoto or Emir of Kano to leave his Kingdom and come to welcome him. He would go to their palace to pay homage to them. So what makes Buhari think that Obi of Onitsha is inferior to Sultan of Sokoto and Emir of Kano? I don’t blame him. I blame our traditional rulers who have desecrated their throne and the revered institution by playing into the hand of politicians who now control them. It shouldn’tbe so. I wish l can buy a cow for lgwe Achebe. His action comes just few days after some shameless lgbo trational rulers under the auspices of South East traditional ruler’s council led by Eze Dick gave Buhari double chieftaincy titles. I believe that if Buhari had ordered any of those Eze who had given him those titles, he would have rushed down to Akwa in contempt of the Ezeship traditional institution in lgbo land. Igwe Achebe has proven that there are still men of honour and integrity among Ndigbo. All hope is not lost. Buhari may have thought that every lgbo traditional ruler is saleable, clueless and can be easily intimidated. Igwe Achebe has made every lgbo proud. He has redeemed our image the lgbo man. I duff my cap for him.

Religion / I Concur With Pastor Femi Aribisila On Tithing by Phreshkid20(m): 6:47am On Nov 12, 2017
Controversial pastor, Femi Aribisala has taken to Twitter to share his thoughts on the tithing debate currently rocking religious circles in the country. See his tweets below... Are tithers blessed? Jesus pronounced woe on them: “WOE TO YOU, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! FOR YOU PAY TITHE of mint..” (Mt. 23:23). According to Jesus, the Pharisee who gave tithes of all his possession was not justified. (Lk 18:10-14). So much for the blessing of tithing. No Nigerian prophet, so-called pastor or highfalutin General Overseer is qualified to receive tithes from members of his or her congregation. Tithe or no tithe, believers are blessed: “with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3). God says: “I will curse whoever curses you.” (Gen 12:3). So if your G.O. curses you for not tithing, the curse will only fall on his head. The only people authorised to receive tithes were the Levites. (Hebrews 7:5). Nigerian pastors are not Jews, how much more Levites. Even Jesus could not have received the tithe because he was from the tribe of Judah and not Levi. How then can Nigerians pastors qualify? Today, Jewish rabbis who are still under Mosaic Code no longer receive tithes because Levi is a lost tribe of Israel. No Levites: no tithes. God did not accept money as tithe. The tithe was tied to the land, which was God’s gift to Israel. Contrary to the law, pastors today only accept money as tithe, showing they are nothing but money-grubbers determined to fleece the flock. Ask your pastor if you can give your tithe to the orphanage, or bring it as food items to be eaten in church. See if he will agree with you. Since only agricultural and animal resources were included, a fisherman gave no tithe of his fisheries. Neither did a miner, carpenter or anyone from the various professional occupations pay tithes. So unless you are a farmer or keeper of livestock, you are not supposed to tithe. Tithing belongs to the Law of Moses. But Christians are not under the law but under grace. (Romans 6:14). The law was not given to Nigerians, it was given to Jews. (Psalms 147:19-20; Malachi 4:4). Therefore, the Law on tithes is inapplicable to Nigerians. Tithing was primarily applicable to Jews in Israel. When Jewish populations grew in Babylon, Ammon, Moab and Syria, these lands also became tithe-able lands. However, tithes were unacceptable from strictly Gentile lands. So it makes no sense to tithe in Nigeria. Levites were not given any land. God says: “Instead, I give to the Levites as their inheritance the tithes that the Israelites present as an offering to the Lord.” (Num 18:24). But today’s pastors own lands. They do not live as Levites and should stop pretending to be Levites. God says: “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be FOOD in my house.” (Malachi 3:10). He does not say “that there may be MONEY in my house.” You cannot cherry-pick what to obey in the law by singling out tithing: “The person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God's laws.” (James 2:10). If Nigerian pastors insist on tithing, they must also insist on all other stringent requirements of the law; including the stoning to death of adulterers, disobedient children, homosexuals and Sabbath violators. They should also restore blood- sacrifices for good measure.

Car Talk / How The Izuogu Z-600 Dream Was Destroyed By Nigerian Government by Phreshkid20(m): 3:46am On Aug 06, 2017
This is how government of Nigeria killed the dreams of Dr.Ezekiel Izuogu through their strategic policy of hate syndrome. Dr.Ezekiel Izuogu: How the Izuogu Z-600 dream was destroyed by Nigerian government simple because he is an Igbo man. In 1997, a brilliant Igbo Electrical Engineer and Lecturer at the Federal polytechnic Nekede, Dr. Ezekiel Izuogu designed and developed the Izuogu Z-600, the first African indigenous manufactured car. The car was described by the BBC as 'the African dream machine' as 90% of its parts were sourced locally. At a projected sales cost of $2000 dollars, it would have taken the world by storm and become the cheapest and most affordable car on earth. With mass production planned under Izuogu Motors plant in Naze owerri, the prospects of an industrial revolution in Igbo land and Nigeria, was in the making. The car was equipped with self made 1.8L four cylinder engine that got 18mpg and allowed the car to achieve a top speed of 140 km/h. Front Wheel Drive (RWD) because a transmission tunnel, which RWD would require, would be more expensive to fabricate. So 90% of the car's components were made locally. Late General Sani Abacha set up a 12 man panel of inquiry made of professionals to ascertain the road worthiness and authenticity of the car and after several days of probing, the committee gave Dr. Izuogu's car s clean bill of health recommending that some of the bumps on the body of the car be smoothened. It is worthy to note that this was five years before India build their first car known as the Indi. At a well organized unveiling ceremony which Late General Abacha represented by Oladipo Diya, over 20 foreign ambassadors and thousand of people in attendance, the Federal government promised a grant of 235 million naira to Dr.Izuogu. An excited Dr. Izuogu is still waiting for that grant till today. No dime was released to him. In 2006, the government of South African invited Dr.Izuogu to do a presentation about the car in the presence of several world class engineers. Being impressed with his presentation, they invited him to come and set up a plant in South Africa and begin the production of the car. Dr. Izuogu reluctantly agreed, though he wasn't happy that the benefits of employment generation will be lost on the locals of Naze and the Nigerian human resources environment. On Saturday the 11th of March 2006, at about 2:00am, a total of about 12 heavily armed men broke into Dr.Izuogu's factory in Naze and carted away various machines and tools including the design history notebook of Z-600, the design file Z-MASS, containing the design history for mass production of Z-600 car, and the moulds for various parts of the car; According to Dr.Izuogu: "It seems that the target of this robbery is to stop the efforts we are making to mass- produce the first ever locally made car in Africa. Other items stolen included locally produced timing wheel, locally produced camshaft, locally produced crankshaft, locally produced engine tappets, all 20 pieces each. Also stolen were ten pieces of locally produced Z-600 engine blocks, Ten pieces of the locally produced pistons, four pieces of engine block mounds, four of top engine block moulds, ten pieces of engine fly wheel and two pieces each of ear car and front mudguard moulds. 'The inventor regretted that not only did they lose over one N1 billion in monetary terms, but also times (about 10 years) and the energy it took to design and produces the moulds. "To worsen the matter, our design notebook was also stolen", he stated. He regarded the incident as a national economic disaster because the nation had lost a technological and intellectual property. The setback and governments attitude frustrated Izuogu and his dream died.

Politics / Reasons Why History Must Be Taught In Schools by Phreshkid20(m): 8:10pm On Mar 06, 2017
This is why history must be taught in our schools. Those who neglect History are bound to repeat the mistakes of the past. Please read below and and learn. BEWARNED!!!!!!!
The story is told of how King Yunfa, the Hausa Sarki in Gobir (now called Sokoto) hosted a Fulani immigrant called Usman Dan Fodiyo and his group in February 1804, as a result of this and since 1808 the whole of the northern region lost its kingdoms and were replaced by Fulani emirates.
King Yunfa is said to have been killed in 1808 and the Fulani warrior (Usman Dan Fodiyo) established Sokoto caliphate, making himself Sultan.
Gradually, other Hausa kingdoms were pillaged and taken over by the Fulani emirs. The ethnic groups in the core north were the first victims of Fulani imperialism, a venture that occurred because the people were given access to grazing land as a result of the hospitality of the hosts.
They however failed to overrun the Bornu and Jukun kingdoms , so the Shehu of Bornu and Aku Uka remains paramount till today!
The Afonja dynasty compromised by allowing a Fulani warrior known as Janta Alimi to settle in Ilorin, the Fulani guerrillas killed Afonja in 1824
And Ilorin, a Yoruba town under the Oyo empire, fell into Fulani hands, becoming an emirate under Sokoto caliphate till today! Even the attempts of the O’odua People’s Congress (OPC) to revert to status quo ante and crown an Onilorin of Ilorin became an exercise in futility.
The Yoruba warriors got wise and defeated the Fulani jihadists in Osogbo in 1840, if this didn’t happen there would most likely have been Fulani “emirs” as rulers in Oyo Alaafin, Ibadan, Owo, Osogbo, Ede, Ado, and Igede Ekiti today!
If the Bini Kingdom did not fight and repel the jihadists, they would have penetrated the Edo/Delta region beyond the present day Edo North Senatorial District which gave in and allowed the jihadists to overrun & islamize them.
Along with some ignorant folk most of them are now angling for grazing areas and a corridor through the entire federation. These grazing areas will in future become Fulani settlements, later commmunities and finally local government areas with elected officials.
If you think I am being alarmist look towards the once beautiful and serene Middle Belt state of Plateau.
The exact same thing happened in Jos.
Therefore, it will not be farfetched to conclude that the Fulani herdsmen are pawns in an agenda to overrun all towns in Nigeria! So that we will have emirs in Owerri, Enugu, Benin, Agatu,Wukari, Abeokuta and other towns where FG creates “grazing reserves” for Fulani herdsmen!
If Yunfa didn’t accommodate Fodio and his warlike immigrants from Futatoro, Hausa sarkis would be ruling today in the north!
And if Afonja didn’t conspire with Alimi, a Yoruba kingdom would not have been ruled by Alimi’s offspring till today!
It is a subtle continuation of the 1804 Fulani jihad by the fully-armed and protected Fulani herdsmen with an age-old agenda to overrun and Islamize the whole of Nigeria very quickly.
I will end this with what someone rightly said- “The grazing bill is not an attempt to solve the problem, it’s a subterfuge to progress the agenda”
It’s an age-old political strategy really- ..create a problem, come up with a “solution” that advances the cause, and then give it a legal backing.
Make it look like a win-win situation.
Be as wise as serpents….

Politics / ‘grass Cutting’ Scam Re-echoes As SGF Budgets N60m For ‘tree Cutting’ In 2017 by Phreshkid20(m): 8:12pm On Feb 23, 2017
Echoes of the ‘grass cutting’ scam that has trailed Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, reverberated at the House of Representatives Tuesday when a N60m budget proposal for tree cutting presented by the Presidential Committee on the Northeast (PCNI) was shot down.

The PCNI is under the supervision of Lawal who is currently embroiled in a N200m contract scandal over cutting of grass in the northeast. Calls for his sack by members of the Nigerian Senate have been turned down by the presidency with President Buhari issuing Lawal a clean bill.

Perhaps, unperturbed by calls for his sack, the office of the SGF, in a N45billion 2017 budget proposal submitted to the House of Representatives Committee on Internally Displaced Persons and Refugees on Tuesday, again requested the sum of N60million for “clearing of trees and shrubs on Maiduguri-Damboa road, Maiduguri- Bama-Gwoza-Mubi road, Uba-Lassa road.”

The presentation was made by Tijani Tumsah who is Vice Chairman of PCNI under the Security, Stabilisation and Peace Building segment of the proposed 2017 budget.

Unimpressed by some of the irreconcilable differences in the budget, the House Committee threw out the budget, directing that it should be thoroughly reviewed for a later consideration by them.

Among the several queries raised by the Committee were repetitions in certain claims. For instance, a request was made for, “Rapid Renovations and Reconstruction of Security outfits, standardised camps, and other productive works” while a separate proposal of N600 million was made for “standardisation of camps and upgrade.”

In another case, the PCNI proposed the sum of N100 million for “Strategic Communications, Media and Publicity” while another N40 million was proposed for “Media and Publicity” for all other segments.

Disturbed by these perceived contradictions, House Committee chairman, Zani Zorro lashed out saying, “You can’t travel this same way again, it is not acceptable. Why can’t you assign this duty to the military to do it for you? They can use their personnel to clear the grasses and you can drop this idea of awarding contracts with N60 million.”

Concerned that the PCNI could be acting beyond its mandate , he added, “You are going to deliver security equipment for N200 million. What type of security equipment? Then another N2.5 billion for security outfits. Are you telling us that part of your role is to fund the operations of the military in the North-east? The military have their own budget already.

“You have N184 million for screening programme for humanitarian activities. What does that mean? There is N150 million on advocacy and early warning system and N165 million for conflict management.”

Not done, another member of Zorro’s committee, Adamu Kamale, said, “PCNI is not a military agency. This N8.4 billion should be converted to rehabilitation of burnt houses and schools. I am an IDP, so I know where it pains. N5 billion out of the money can rehabilitate up to 50 per cent of the houses.

“Our people back home will not forgive us if we pass this budget like this.”....

Politics / MMM Should Apply To Buhari For Clearance - Reno Omokri by Phreshkid20(m): 2:10pm On Jan 26, 2017
MMM are not smart. After President Buhari cleared Babachir Lawal what they should have done is immediately apply to him for clearance! After all, our President is the best clearing agent in Nigeria.

Cleared Buratai
Cleared Danbazau
Cleared Kyari
Cleared Babachir
Cleared Abacha
Cleared Amaechi

I heard the Nigerian Association of clearing and forwarding agents unanimously decided to make PMB their life President after he cleared Magu and forwarded his name to the Senate!

In fact the word fool has to be redefined. A fool is anyone who believes that President Muhammadu Buhari who cleared Babachir and Amaechi is anti-corrupt while Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who sacked Oduah and Nnaji is corrupt!

So bad has the situation become that two erstwhile major supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari had to publicly confess how bad things have become under his leadership.

First Senator Shehu Sani said, “When it comes to fighting corruption in the National Assembly and the Judiciary and in the larger Nigerian sectors, the President uses insecticide, but when it comes to fighting corruption within the Presidency, they use deodorants,” then Junaidu Mohammed said “The truth is that Nigeria is worse off today than when Buhari took over the reigns of power”.

Even the most die hard Buharist must now admit that in electing Muhammadu Buhari as our President all that we did was jump from frying pan to fire.

Politics / Buhari's Government Will Transform Thousands From Tenants To Home Owners.. by Phreshkid20(m): 3:14pm On Sep 06, 2016
Abuja – The Federal Government has said that its affordable housing schemes will soon transform thousands of Nigerians from being tenants to proud owners of houses and plots of land. This is contained in a statement by Malam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, in Abuja on Monday. Shehu said the scheme operated through the mortgage banking system was part of the programmes meant to uplift the quality of lives of the citizens. “There are also programmes for affordable housing with mortgages which will transform thousands from tenant status to homeownership.’’ He said that the Buhari-led administration had so far released N74 billion as part of capital allocations in the last three months. According to him, more of the capital allocations will soon be released to revitalise the economy. “Most of our road contractors had not been paid since 2012, many of them had sent their workers away adding to the unemployment problem. “This government has released capital allocations in the last three months that is more than the whole of 2015. “In 2015 Nigeria spent a paltry N19 billion on roads, in three months we have spent N74 billion and we are already releasing more,’’ he said. Shehu, who was reacting to negative comments on the nation’s economy in some quarters, noted that the Federal Government had expended N26 billion in the transport sector in the last few months. He also revealed that the government would start a concession that would revive the nation’s rail system for freight. He expressed the hope that the movement of goods, particularly foodstuff through the rail system would reduce the cost of food items across market places in the country. “In the transport sector in 2015, government spent just N4.2 billion; we have spent N26 billion with more to follow. “We are starting a concession that will revive our old rail system for freight, whilst we build a new high speed rail system. “Moving heavy goods by rail will reduce our transport costs which will reduce food prices and will save our roads from damage from heavy loads.’’ According to him, government will embrace the private sector through PPP, concessions and other collaborations to deliver services and infrastructure efficiently. He maintained that the government was working hard to do things right and do them in a manner that would endure. He said, “no government has ever considered the poor like this one. Under the current budget, the administration devoted N500 billion for social intervention programmes for those who need and deserve support. “Any process that will endure, must involve some pain but things will begin to improve. There is always a time lag between policy and effect. That is why the bad effects of past policies are manifesting now. “Similarly, the positive impact of the work being undertaken to fix Nigeria’s problems will soon begin to show and we will emerge from this period stronger, wiser and more prosperous. “There is hope for Nigeria, a hope that was previously clouded by corruption, greed and lack of focus. “Nigeria is starting over and everyone has a role to play. Look back, look ahead.’’
