Ranks are attached to positions.
ADC to the president is usually a senior Lt.col who has undergone the junior officers course in Jaji. The highest rank of an ADC to a President is a colonel.A one star general can not be an ADC. So ranks and positions go together in military.
However the c in c can use his discretion to appoint any one from those shortlisted.

That's not true. Obasanjo's ADC was a colonel then. His name is col jemitola. He is a major general now.So a colonel can still be ADC.

You will still pay for it dear. During my time I did collect mine in Scul too but when you get to camp,they will delay you at the point of registration and if you wanna redeploy or have anything to do with the portal you may not av access to it until you pay d 3k. This was my experience. Pay the money and save ur sef some stress.

Please help me out. My infinix note 2 has stopped flash charging. I'm using the follow come infinix charger. It charges at snail speed now as against the flash charging that charges within 1hr 30mins.

I had close to like 15 English questions, 15 maths which was cheap kind off, 20 current affairs.... So if you can clear your 15 maths, 20 current affairs, 10 English cause it's hard getting all in English.... That should be like 45/50, then your essay... Na that place you need to use your IQ and forget what you read online.... Essay mostly have no sure mark but if you can go straight to the point he go pay, intro, body conclusion...... So at least out of the 50 mark, you can get 30/50 in your essay making your total 75/100.... I doubt if anyone can score 45/50 in essay not even with a 5.00 CPGA.... Cause Essay always depend on the reader....

I have every course to doubt the authenticity of some B.Sc and HND holders on this thread.FG cannot wake up overnight and cancel or scrapped the NYSC.
The NYSC is a Directorate established by an Act or Law.The modus operandi of the NYSC is governed by an Act.Unless the law establishing it is repealed or Amended by the Legislators,NYSC stands as a Directorate.
If I may quickly add Provisions have beeen made fr the NYSC in this years budget.
Let's all discard this rumour flying around.The news is not only wicked but also tasteless.
Let's continue to pray to God to intervene in this matter and I know in the fullness of time we shall be mobilised.

For the benefit of those that missed the Goood morning show on Raypower network ds moning,here are the take-away from the program.
1.The Directorate is cash tapped and cannot mobilise the 60 000 Pcm currently due for the orientation program.
2.The former DG was removed for having the gut to address the media on the paucity of funds.Potraying the govt in Bad light.
3.Nothing has changed till ds morning(friday)

The earlier we mobilize for peaceful protest in our various Regions the better.This is the language this govt understands.

The frustration meted out to NYSC Corps members of the Stream 2 batch reached a Crescendo today.
Igiebor Daniel a 29 year old graduate of Mechanical engineering was alleged to have set himself on fire, early Thursday morning. Reports making the rounds in Edo state claim that the young graduate was Said to have become frustrated with the lackadaisical and insincere treatment of Corps members by the present NYSC leadership. Daniel was said to have doused himself in petrol before lighting a match and becoming engulfed in flames. He was immediately rushed by family members and the flame put out, before he was taken to the Hospital.
This is just a demonstration of the pains Corps members are going through as the NYSC management have decided to play an unholyame of hide and seek. Daniel should be in our prayers as he battles for his life. Amen.COPIED
