OCTAVO: Yep. Let's reminisce together just for the fun of it.
As for me yes! On Two different Ocassions.
First one was in 2007, I lost a Sony Ericsson T610 phone.
Second one was some years back during my NYSC, I lost a brand new one month old Nokia phone I bought with my allowee.
Those experiences were quite painful for me because in both cases, the phones fell off in a way I can't even explain.
Now, I know some of us are very careful and probably haven't had this experience before.
For those of us that have lost our phones before, what kind of phone did you lose? And in what form did it happen? Theft or Misplacement?

Blewusi: This is what I said some time ago and Tecno fans descended on me. They claim Tecno is CHEAPER and Samsung is MILKING them dry. In January this year, Tecno released N7. People complained of LOW RAM. Then they came out with PHANTOM A. Once again, some people complained of the battery. Instead of Tecno asking their customers to bring their phones to the service centre to UPDATE them MANUALLY (since they cannot do that via OTA), they chose to release a new phone: PHANTOM A+. Add the price of Phantom A and Phantom A+, is it not more than the price of Samsung mid range phones like Galaxy Grand Duos? Yet Samsung has never ABANDONED their customers the way Tecno does. Grand Duos was also released in January this year, and it has received SOFTWARE UPDATES to fix bugs. And the latest update for Grand Duos is Android 4.2.2. Phantom A+ has come with Android 4.2.1. In three months time, Tecno will release Phantom B running on Android 4.2.2. So who's milking its customers dry? Is Samsung or Tecno?

announced the global launch of ELife E6, its new flagship smartphone. This is the only white coloured handset in the world that features the One Glass Solution display technology. The manufacturer will start selling this smartphone in China this month, while it will hit India, Nigeria and Vietnam after August.

The new Gionee ELife E6 has a 5-inch OGS display with 1920x1080p resolution and 441ppi pixel density. The phone runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 2GB RAM. The phone has 31GB internal storage, weighs 128gram and is 6.18mm thick.

Running on a 2,020mAh battery, Gionee ELife E6 has 13MP rear camera and 5MP secondary unit. Connectivity suite of the phone includes 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB. It features the DTS 3D audio enhancement technology for improved sound as well Heartbeat Synchronization Technology for power management. The device features unibody design and comes in white as well as black colour options.

knytred: So I have tested the new code...it doesn't stop unless u switch off ur fone or ur network somehow disappears from ur fone...only then will it stop....if u want it let me know..I know I said 5k..ok reducing it to recharge vouchers of 1500.....u don't need bis or droidvpn only a little data plan like the 2h era.....as of today I have spent over 5k in recharge cards testing this new tweak.....not bin greedy but u need to encourage my effort...consider me 2 be a pastor...hehe, if u are sceptical or don't trust me...I repeat, who lives around apapa...so I can do it for u manually and u testify.....-im out

Indications from fresh report has it that the Nexus 5 will we debut on october 5th with the android 5.0 OS.Though reported as a rumor, the report claims that Google is to partner LG, for the production of the Nexus s smartphone wchich is expected to debut this year on the 5th of October.
According to the report, the Nexus 5 smartphone is to operate foundationally on the present Optimus G2 and so therefore will have similar internal parts.
The expected specs and features of the G2 smartphone as reported includes a 5.2- inch HD display screen, a 13-megapixel camera, a GHz Snapdragon 800 processor and a 3GB RAM. The device is also to feature LTE connectivity and a 2,700 mAh battery. The Optimus G2 is expected to be launched on the 7th of August this year. The Nexus 5 will debut few months after.
