A40: We just dey push am brethren. Team Vettel all day the boy bounced back spectacularly last year and I expect even more from him this time around
Can you tell me truthfully the last time we witnessed the title drama of 2010 and 2012? Are you claiming the largely one-sided rivalry between Rosberg and Hamilton matched that? You call what went down a fight? Lol was there ever a time Rosberg looked like he could win the title? How many times did he outduel Hamilton? Of course it was a two-man race largely because both Mercs were so far ahead of the rest.
Australia is always a toss up. Especially the race itself but qualifying tends to give you an idea of who is who Truth be told The 2012 season had a bit of drama because Webber did not step up 2010 was a three way race and vettel stole in from.behind on Webber n Alonso |

dmcdad: The emboldened can only happen in Barça as Madrid don't have socis like Barça. Perez has the veto alone. Not even the board members have a say. Hmmm....not sure Will confirm that The structure is the same Socios who vote and fire Remember he was chased out in the galacticos era |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by pickabeau1: 10:27pm On Mar 17, 2016 |
dmcdad: You don't understand what's up bruv. Pérez's primary aim is money and not football, hence my initial statement.
What do you think is the primary aim of making those Galactico signings? Do you think its primarily for the sporting purpose? Nah... First things first, its primary aim is for the financial gain it will bring, and then the footballing aspect.
The same thing I am saying is what even Madrid directors are complaining of. Perez obviously doesn't work with the board in taking decisions. A director of the club made the same statement I made earlier on, that Perez only cares about the financial aspect of things as against the sporting aspect. Need I tell you also that the latest interview Benitez had as regards his departure from Madrid reaffirmed what I have been saying? He made the same statement too.
I guess I ain't wrong afterall. But he knows he has to be careful so the socios don't boot him out He has a stay of execution though especially after the decima Though last year's treble must have pained the Blancos |

dmcdad: Madrid are also suffering partially from the same thing. Perez is more concerned about the business aspect of the club and making money with less emphasis on the footballing aspect of things. Nah Peres is also concerned about footballing success Hence he tolerated a boring Mou style especially after the Manita The mistake he has made is sacking carlotti even after he delivered the decima..weird |

Zlatan deserves 1 UCL medal Nah La pulga needs ballon dor 6 Also this team must defend the ucl The offside goal by milito still haunts me 2010 The missed penalty by messi against Chelsea also 2012 Zlatan had his chance 2010 but his ego did not let him flow with the messiless one |

Spy360: What transpired should not be entirely blamed on Wenger due to the dynamism of that transfer saga.
Permit me to explain...
Suarez had a very complex transfer clause which Liverpool were not willing to reveal.
But Suarez then wanted to move, he needed Champions league and also a different atmosphere due to the moral issues he was facing. Wenger too was interested and put in several bids. Suarez wanted Arsenal.
Suarez's agent who was ignorant of the complex clause, advised Arsene to bid £40m. Arsene thought he had activated his release clause, but it was later revealed after the intervention of the FA that the clause stated 'if a bid in excess of £40m is made, Liverpool may allow Suarez to discuss with the other club'.
The frustration made Wenger to then add the extra pound.
Meanwhile, Gerrard had talked Suarez out of the idea, and he chose to stay for another season. (He would be ever grateful to Gerrard I think)
Other consequences of the transfer saga was that Wenger lost Higuain to Napoli, while hoping for Suarez.
My point however is that the deal was never going to happen. If Wenger had bid 45 he would have come |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by pickabeau1: 8:36pm On Mar 17, 2016 |
dmcdad: This I think is the reality. They are well concerned about the financial aspect of things, and that is evident in the amount of money the club makes every season. I must say Arsenal make a staggering sum of money for a club that doesn't win trophies.
So it seems the aim is about finances. I got to learn about this some 3-4 seasons ago and since then I fully grasped the idea behind Wenger's mode of spending and him not winning trophies as fans would expect, and also why his job is ultimately secured.
Now have you sat down to imagine if the board were to give him or rather have always set in stone the objective of winning trophies, they wouldn't have sacked him long before now? No matter how patient they are or can be, if his objectives were a negation of what I posted above, then I think he would have been showed the door.
Let's see what happens though. But unless they change their season's objectives, then I think Arsene will remain for the foreseeable future. I learned this and I stopped buying arsenal merchandise also |

Spy360: You gaffed when you came to the emboldened. Those are current Arsenal players. The first one may be forgiven, the second is shiit.
Sanchez is a major culprit to our performances since this year. He loses the ball more than anyone else, he holds the ball too long, worst- he can't shoot anymore. I disagree He has been imperious.and mind you playing with injury |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by pickabeau1: 9:51pm On Mar 13, 2016 |
Spy360: This Arsenal team is just shiit. The worst I have ever seen since I am alive. This collection is totally useless.
Our problem now is Sanchez, the cow just keeps holding the ball, trying unnecessary dribbles, bumping into defenders, and worst of all, loses the ball at dangerous positions.
I hate this team. Abolute nonsense. You set your expectation too high That's the issue |

Spy360: A typical Arsenal side can easily bypass the midfield with quick, sleek passing. With a big CF as Giroud we have a target man for long balls, Giroud's ability to hold up play will keep Barca's defenders busy, not just jittery.
Our quick flow of attack will easily leave us on several one on one situations. Thanks for google search |
