izombie: Shameless i must say. You do not have a womb because only women have wombs. You do not menstruate because only women menstruate. You can wear whatever you want, you can identify as a woman but the koko be say you are not a woman and can never be. Being a woman is not a costume. Define a woman for me according to you. Or let me say what does it takes to be a woman. Don't tell me the trash you are taught in your biology class. |

As in.... can a black person feel like their white or Latino, or Chinese..... It's how you think. If you want to feel like a white, Latino, or Chinese, yes you can. It all depend on your mentality and the way you think. Anyone can do whatever he or feel like doing as long he or she is not hurting others. This life is "live and let's live". Bobrisky is not your problem or Nigeria problem, you gat a lot on your plate that you need to deal with. |

madridguy: I hope the FG will step forward and put some restrictions on all this poisons hiding behind bitters this bitter that.. Its killing men and its so shameful as early as 5 AM you see both young and old men drinking those stuffs.
Our forefather married above 4 wives and they actively satisfied them without taking poisons as enhancement.
Take good food, fruit and engage in exercise alot. Many young men today cannot walk a short distance like from Oshodi to Mushin, you see them flying around okada for a distance of 5 mins by trekking.
As a man, cultivate the habit of eating cooked or roasted unripe plantain and also, you can alos slice it, sun dry it and pound it with africa black pepper and use the powder to take hot ogi every morning. This is enough for you so far you do away from junk foods and tell your wife to stop using seasoning and spicy for cooking for you.
We no go score goal enter heaven oooo. In your opinion, what's the alternative to seasoning or spicy? I've been hearing a lot about the harmful effects of all these seasonings and spices. |

joebeckz: That’s the difference between living in a place with working systems and one where everything feels like a constant hustle. In countries like Canada, the US, or the UK, your money actually works for you, there is structure, stability, and access to credit. You can plan, invest, and grow without being drained by random, unofficial charges or harassment.
But in Nigeria, even with millions, you’re constantly firefighting, insecurity, poor infrastructure, and unnecessary stress. It’s not about how much you have, it’s about what systems exist to support you. That’s what makes life abroad feel more manageable and productive.
Being a kidnap victim in port harcourt , and I was doing very well in Nigeria but I still left the country last year and I don’t regret it . I even wish I left Nigeria earlier . I am building a life here gradually and I can tell you that it gets better everyday cos I left legally and following processes . Currently In school to get the required certifications to earn better hourly pay and I will finish these courses soon . I already working in the field but they are waiting for my completion to offer a permanent position.
I can pick up a 2024 car today and pay Bi-weekly , but that I will do after school . Life na jeje. I have access to free healthcare . Kids don’t pay tuition . Quality of life for family . The advantages are endless . You can only understand it better if you get a chance to legally leave Nigeria to a good country and have the right skill or be ready to go back to school for it . You will be grateful for that decision . I love Nigeria but the country lacks systems and basic infrastructure for survival or decent living . Thank you. Leave them, they always think people are badmouthing Nigeria when people talk about Nigeria that way. They are still sleeping, and I don't blame them. |

Romance › Re: Evening Newspaper: Girls Feeling Pressured by Pickieox(m): 8:26pm On Jun 23, 2025 |
Taquin: This one is for the babes who are starting to question their worth because of what they see online. I turn 30 next Sunday, so I believe I’m in a good place to write this, not from a place of fear, but from experience and sense.
Over the last few months, I’ve seen some wild comments from men on Nairaland. Things like “after 7”, “evening newspaper”, “depleted ovaries”… you name it. But let me tell you: that’s not on you. That’s on them.
If you're feeling down because of these words, pause and breathe. . These men; the ones who use these terms. I’ve studied them. Yes, I went through their old posts. The youngest among them is about 43. 😂 Imagine a 43-year-old man online calling women expired. God forbid my own future husband is wasting his time typing such rubbish on a forum. One even replied me once saying I should "rest". This is someone struggling to pay N150k school fees for his 8-year-old child and rent somewhere in the bush in Ikorodu. 😭 Another one, sleeping in the office Monday to Friday because transport to Ajah will eat his entire salary. We already had our third degree by 23 but one man from Ogbomosho thinks he would be doing me a favour by marrying me. These same people shouting “in saner climes” but the only airport they have seen is from watching James Bond movies. 😭😭😭
And these are the same ones screaming "I can't marry a 25+ year old, they’re too old." At 40+? You’re not even ashamed. Ato ole.
Ladies, these are the ones calling you evening newspaper. Do you now see that it has nothing to do with you? If you’re here and you’re worried about these people, don’t be. This message is not for the real men who respect women and are just struggling financially. My message for you is: it’ll be okay soon, amen.
Now for the rest of us baby girls 👸🏽: There’s a flawed logic these same men like to push. This idea of "100 women to 1 man". It’s a lie. Statistically, there are more men than women in Nigeria and in the world. You can Google it. They just use that flawed stat to make women feel desperate. Let me say this clearly girls: If you are not earning your own money, you have no business dating. Once you start making money, your standards go up naturally. That’s why you’ll see Regina Daniels with a Ned Nwoko, but you’ll never see Temi Otedola with Dangote. 😏 I saw a thread the other day. One Nairaland uncle asking for advice on dating an 18-year-old. By page 2, he had mentioned giving money to her mother. So please, work. Even if it’s small. Take yourself on mini-vacations within Nigeria. Join clubs. Play sports. I play chess. In fact, there’s no antichess player in Africa better than me. Just recently, I came 3rd out of 2,500 players globally in the Antichess World Championship . 💅🏽 I’m also starting Pilates with my girls, and I’m going to take standard chess seriously again. I want to become Nigeria’s first grandmaster by age 37. So please my girls: 1. Buy good skincare. 2. Learn how to do your makeup — Mac, Fenty, Lancôme… get at least one. 3. Look younger, stay fresh. 4. Don’t ever beg for transport fare to go on a date. 🙅🏽♀️
Don’t settle because some man with a “Akungba university 1984” ID is calling you names online. 😭 Look at Asa Asika. Look at Davido. Look at Toolz and Tunde. Real rich kids marry close in age because they’re not looking for desperation, they’re looking for a match. Take your time. Don’t lower your crown. Someone will love you fully with money, respect, maturity, and peace of mind. There’s someone for everyone. Just don’t rush because of what these agbado philosophers are saying on Nairaland . 😂 Remember: When they say “You’re too old,” just remember, The only thing outdated is their mindset which expired after Jonathan’s first tenure. Stop explaining your standards to people who’ve never met them. There’s a man for every woman and yours will see your worth without needing you to shrink or beg for it. So to every woman reading this: You’re not behind. Evening newspaper still has breaking news. Bye baby girls I like you. I like your guts. Let's connect✌ |

Should any rationale being listen to NADECO who led the fight for June 12 on who supported them or the likes of Lamido and Obi who worked for Abacha foe their selfiah gains. It seems you just dey know Tinubu. Yinka Odumakin has a lot to say about his character especially his double standard. You said Obi who worked for Abacha for selfish gain. What you people failed to prove till today except parading one useless photo up and down. Okay, why did your Tinubu write a letter to Abacha when he was in exile for a ministerial slot during that time? Mr. Double standard, is that you? |

KobolanderSegun: Quality is Better than Quantity only a foolish man marries more than one wife. Have you ever seen a football fan who loves two football clubs at once ? Most men do not love they just lust. Is their anyone who loves Ronaldo and Messi at the same time ? The problem is mental immaturity. If you marry babes like Penelope Shongwe, Damali Mwende, Sade Johnson LiberatedGirl_Sj or Baebronx you love for other women will die a painless natural death since these women are ridiculously physically endowed your eyes will shut down like a Microsoft laptop. It's impossible to like two women at the same time talk less of loving them. Show me a man who can run two different businesses at the same time and I'll show you a man who will lose both businesses. You are right to an extent but to every rule there is an exception. What if I told you I love more than three clubs at the same time? I love more women at the same time too. I also run three businesses at the same time. You can be sure what we all want, the heart knows what it wants. Like I said earlier, to every rule, there is an exception. |

bluebay: Shutting my door against you is now a crime ? You kakumkraka. It's a different scenario. Sanwo Olu is the governor of Lagos state. He is accountable to all Lagosians. In the eyes of the law, he erred, he has no legal right to shut down or block a citizen on his page. He is a public figure. This is one of the reasons why laws are not static, they are dynamic in nature. If Nigeria citizens know their rights, things will not be like the way it is in Nigeria. And that is one of the major reasons why politicians feed on the ignorance of the people. |
