This Farook just write for writing sake.

The government never claimed the wage adjustment is their minimum wage so how does that relate to minimum wage?

Minimum wage will still take effect just that truly the government have dragged feet too much. They should have implemented it by now instead of wasting time this much.

Also, this Naira floating and subsidy removal is taking a huge toll on Nigerians but I kinda like that it was done. For the past decades, economics have been blabbering and abusing all government that “float the naira” , remove fuel subsidy and automatically Nigeria become America.

Now that we have done it, people have seen that Nigerians are not well enough to carry the burden themselves. FG must understand that if within the first 2 years, things don’t calm down to a bearable level, people might not be able to continue to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Truth be told. Tinubu has nothing to offer Nigerians. This is a bitter truth we can not shy away from. I'm just sorry for people still chanting on his mandate we stand. Little did they realise is that this man has no single policy to bring most Nigerians out of penury. His government only care about window dressing projects, elephant projects with a boast of "we are building capital projects that will attract FDI and boost the economy...yen yen yen". If at all they build the economy, his gangs of thieves (polithiefcians) in power will still loot the economy, or is it the people shouting ebi ń pawá that will loot the economy?

How did Africans and Black people survive the worst dehumanization humanity has ever seen, from the Trans Saharan slave trade, trans Atlantic slave trade, colonialism from the Arabs and the West, once even considered to not be humans. These dehumanizations reduced African from about 800 million at a time to less than 200 million. Dehumanization native Americans and many races couldn't survive.

Today you can not go to any continent and not find a very substantial Black people of African origin, millions in the Americas, Carribean, the middle East, Asia, Europe, You name it.

How did the oldest race on earth, Africans, survive all these and more and now are more than a billion and a half today, and soon the majority in the nearest future? LET ME TELL YOU....

The African society is set by our ancients in a way that it is capable of surviving the most brutality and catastrophe that most others and even animal species could not. From the communal system to the polygamous family system, reference for elders and historical simplicity and hospitality and acceptance of total strangers.

HOMOSEXUALITY is a condition that serves no purpose to the collective good of a society aside certifying an unquenchable desire, unnatural in it thirst and unprofitable, unproductive, non-contributing in its entirety. And so I dare say polygamy is the direct opposite of HOMOSEXUALITY, polygamy recreates, it allows and gives home to women and children less privileged and makes the community and family even bigger and stronger. Polygamy is not a system built for the sake of certifying sexual fetish, unlike HOMOSEXUALITY, it is one of the bedrock as to why and how the African society and peoples endured and are massively GROWING and doing as nature and God designed, PRODUCING and MULTIPLYING.

There's a lot to say, the comments section and even Nairaland as a whole can not contain the entirety of this topic's discussion, but know this, HOMOSEXUALITY has no place among sane people, no wonder they have the highest suicide rates. It is a very recently accepted culture even in the so-called West.

May we learn from them but only cherry pick what works and not what sounds good and pleasures the now.

It's a nonsensical and hypocritic comment.

Firstly, every religion has principles and regulations. If you're not ready to abide by them then you leave. Simple. At least, you should learn to take correction or at least take an L when your attention is called.

Secondly, people have the freedom to criticise whoever does something wrong in their opinion especially if it has to do with their common interest.

Thirdly, you're not a Muslim so what's your business with Muslim matter?

Religion is what is keep the poor in check from murdering the rich whereas the poor will keep loving their mental chains and choose to support their slave master (the rich thief, the polithiefcians looting their national wealth). And you will see online disagreement and argument like "my thief is better than your thief." Fake

RELIGION IS A MIND GAME
Religion is smartly packaged to leave no room for it's victims to ESCAPE or CRITICIZE.

A Religion like Christianity will quote you a statement of an "infallible" Jesus god in John 14:3 -WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME, THIS I WILL DO that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
The keywords here are "WHATEVER YOU ASK"

They will sell to you an infallible jesus god who NEVER fails.
They'll pray for your sick father who is already HOSPITALIZED or on MEDICATION for recovery in the name of jesus.
When your father(already on medication) recovers, they say "our god is good", "jesus never fails", "what Jesus cannot do does not exist" etc.
When unfortunately your father dies, instead of admitting jesus has failed, they blame the doctor or you for your lack of faith or for not praying ENOUGH.
They must find a way to rationalize Jesus’ FAILURE so you don't give up on the religion...

They'll tell you "Don't give up sister" "Jesus works in mysterious ways" "god knows what's best for you", "it's god's will" but the question is, if everything happens according to a god's will that we have no power to change, why would the same god request you ask ANYTHING in his name and that he'll do?

It's a WIN WIN in religion.
Religious gods never get the blame, they always get the credit for doing NOTHING.

FEAR and GUILT are their greatest weapons, and it works perfectly on the gullible.

Religion / Re: Who First Saw Jesus After His Resurrection? by Pickieox(m): 8:45am On Mar 31
jesusjnr2020:
Who First Saw Jesus After His Resurrection?

According to the Bible, it was a woman.

Mark 16:9-11 (KJV)

Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

The woman's name was Mary Magdalene. She was the one Jesus first appeared to after His resurrection that He first sent to His church to deliver the message of His resurrection.

John 20:16-18 (KJV)

Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

So it was a woman who preached the first Gospel in the church after the resurrection of Jesus, and it was Jesus Himself who sent her to preach it there.

Therefore anytime you hear any idea, doctrine or teaching which says that the woman ought not to speak in the church but to be silent, know that it's not of Christ, because according to the Gospels and Bible, Christ clearly permitted a woman to speak in the church, as a woman was the first person He sent to to convey the message of His resurrection to the church after He had resurrected from the dead.

Moreover, if you see a woman preaching or speaking in a church, saying that Jesus had appeared to her and sent her to deliver a message to the church, do not see it as unusual just because it's a woman and not a man, as a woman was the first person Jesus appeared to after His resurrection and also the first He sent to preach the Gospel of His resurrection to the church.

Jesus even rebuked His church, which includes His first eleven disciples, for not believing the woman and the others He first sent to them with the Gospel of His resurrection before He physically appeared to them, to illustrate how important the message He sent her to deliver to the church was to Him.

Mark 16:14 (KJV)

Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

God bless.

Oga rest, Jesus no exist. Bybull na folktales. Jesus story was copied from mythological gods that have been in existence before creating character of Jesus.
The world have moved pass this except Africans still dreaming of a fairytale heaven. Yeye people everywhere. All dem pastors just dey chop tithes and offerings every Sunday with their offsprings riding exotic cars but church members trekking go church.
Religion is nothing but opium of the masses.
