Celebrities › Re: Adaobi Alagwu, Tunde Ayeni, And The Suspension Of Common Sense by Pickieox(m): 5:59am On Jul 11, 2025
MorningGlori:
And then comes the name. Despite the media gymnastics she’s been subjected to, Adaobi still clings to the Ayeni name. Why? If the marriage was a lie and an embarrassment as she now claims, why not sever the association completely? Why the insistence on retaining a title that, by her own logic, she was “deceived” into earning? Could it be that, in spite of the mess, the Ayeni surname still holds currency in certain circles she’s unwilling to forfeit?
Yes, that name still holds currency for her. That is the double standard for most women after leaving a partner. One of the reasons why one shouldn't take them really serious.

MorningGlori:
And if he was the puppet master, why did he keep returning? Begging, appeasing, showering gifts, and ensuring comfort for a woman he now disowns?
When you see a man returning to his mistress after fall out between the duo can be stemmed from two things, maybe the man has low self-esteem and felt he can not do without his mistress; secondly, this one is always true, most men with mistress always find it hard to lose them because of the money, investments spent on those mistress...it is always hard for them to leave those mistress at the same time seeing the mistress in the hand of another man. Men like this see woman as an investment. You should know better. That is why in most marriage where there is no love-lost, it is the women that always move for divorce not the man. Men stay in abusive marriage so as not to lose their resources spent on their wives, while women stay for many reasons: because of their children; marital status; means of livelihood, etc

P. S: By the way, what is the latest about the estranged couple? Since person no dey Nija like this, we no know wetin dey sup. Na Nairaland dey update us for here.

I know he may maneuver the constitution before the 2027 election, if he feels he may not win the election.

Probably Nnamdi Kanu may be released some months before the 2027 election to cause confusion in the South East.

Romance › Re: My Fiancee Tells Her Sister Everything.... by Pickieox(m): 2:44am On Jul 11, 2025
Ozzyk:
I've been dating my woman since 2021. We did introduction recently and already fixed our wedding to next month.

Yesterday, She gave me her phone to fix so I used the opportunity to go through her chats...
So, I went through her chats with her sister only to observe that she discussed almost everything we discussed within ourselves with her sister too unprovoked.

Although I've always known that she and her sister who is happily married also used to be 5&6 but I never knew my fiancee could be spitting everything we talked to her sister just like that....

I went through their chats even though there's no toxic discussion about me between them
But I'm not fine at all with the fact she debates almost everything we talked about with her sister...
This lady Is everything a man could ask for, she's beautiful, hard working very decent and I met her a virgin.

I've not spoken to her about it though I still don't know how best to go about it.

I am very displeased.
You don't need to bother about this. Be thankful it's even her sister. You're lucky unlike others that will tell their friends, or even exes. Bro look away, pretend as if you are not bothered. Later in time, you can easily form a story of something related like this and tell her to know her reactions. It is how she responds or react will determine her maturity. But always know that women will always be women.

Obi is the weapon fashioned against Atiku and he is ensuring that Atiku will not enter Asso Rock
His ignoble role in ADC this time around will sell him out. We are watching. Many are already having the opinion that he is Tinubu mole planted by Tinubu to weaken the chance of Atiku. I said this back then that Tinubu used Obi and Kwankwaso in the last election to weaken Atiku.

People like you are the reasons why fake pastors thrive in Nigeria and politicians continue stealing from Nigeria. You can imagine saying Tinubu is not a mere mortal, lol. I intend to wife but scared of her past.
I have listened to many online counseling videos that a woman’s past matters a lot.
She had told me she is now changed person.

Then I came up with lies that in our culture that if a woman cheat outside marriage that she will run mad immediately that if she can cope with that.
She told me it is fine , that she did os to support her school

When Atiku is done selling everything. You will be a debtor to foreigners. "Our resources" will be gone you will beg foreigners for some rights to what was your former resources.

All the dollars Atiku has spent since 1992 he will realise.
So all the money Tinubu is spending where is he getting them? Stop being sanctimonious here. I repeat Atiku is better than Tinubu by far. When Atiku said he will sell Nigeria redundant sectors to private individuals, through privatisation. APC blamed him. Didn't APC swallowed their spits later? You are talking because you don't know Tinubu sha😂 If you know Tinubu very well, you will know he doesn't mean well for Nigeria.

The ADC has said it has no preferred or favourite presidential aspirant but has set out to first put out a platform that would be attractive and acceptable to majority of Nigerians.

“We are doing this because we do not want this great ship called Nigeria to sink because if we do not rise up, and now, they will sink all of us.

“I don’t own this party more than any of our members and I urge all members to prepare to show Nigerians that ADC is a different party," the interim Chairman, David Mark has said.
Make Obi stay for ADC if he wan stay. Where e wan go? No wonder why we keep saying that Obi may eventually be sponsored by Tinubu, who knows. Trust politicians at your perils.

Negroid001:
My fiance wants the fanciest of weddings.
She said it's something she fantasized about as a child.

Don't know if I'm harsh buh i told her it's gonna be a low-key thing with few people involved. If she wants to invite the whole world she should be ready to bear the cost.

I can't have people that don't love me eating from the same table with me. If she can sponsor it. No wahala.
As a man, don't tell her that if she can foot the bill or sponsor the wedding. You "no" is "NO". Tell her it is a simple wedding you want and let her see reason with you. If she can't then you have a long way to go. You guys need to agree together. The same issue related to this will eventually surface when you guys are married (little thing matters). This is why you are called "man of the house." If she's bent on having her way despite what you table down to her, that is a red flag my brother...use your discretion.

"Not everyone deserves an invitation to your wedding.
Some people are secretly hoping it never happens.
If they had the chance, they would convince your partner to walk away from you — not because of anything you've done, but simply because they don't like you.
To them, your happiness feels like an offense."

When asked ''Shey you no invite me for your wedding'' just apologize.. abeg no vex..
This is true. I remember when my uncle told me somwthing related to this more than 20 years ago, he said: "Not everyone that comes to a wedding comes to wish the couple well, some are wishing to make the wedding crash, some want to come and see what is going on in the wedding..." That statement of his resonates deep into my mind.

this man makes me angry . The same you that were telling Nigerias that Buhari is fixing Nigeria, so Tinubu is admitting that Buhari didn't do anything in his 8 years rule, ? Isn't this an indictment on Tinubu by telling Nigerias that Buhari is on the right track to reposition the country ? So Tinubu knew that Buhari is a failure and still promised to continue from where Buhari stoped ?

I expect Tinubu to say that 10 years is not enough instead of 2 years or is he indirectly telling us that Buhari's 8 years was a waste ?

Tinubu is the most insincere and dubious politician Nigeria ever had
