Evans is shyte if this is what he can serve us after all these years he has spent here with top defenders. I thought he's good with the ball but this season has shown he's not. The absence of Rio/Vida as his partner has exposed him.
shocked how many times has he even played this season?

I don't think so. I might be mistaken here but Evans is the oldest in terms of premier league experience, so I can understand when people are short on tolerance for the fellow.
He should be the one injecting confidence into that back line but he is the one whose confidence is shot to pieces.
Guys are being too quick to run the rule over him.
He has hardly played football this season.
His wasn't the worst defender on the pitch yesterday
I'm very confident he'll come around after a few games.
Quote me anywhere.

As per McNair, we can't deny that he was rubbish. Even van Gaal alluded to that fact in his post match comments.
. This happens with young players.

It's hard to see the ones who will manage to stay fit in Jones, Evans and Smalling.
These are the three who are supposed to have taken over from Rio and Vidic but so far they are found wanting.
We need stability at the back and these fellas don't exactly offer that.
Staying fit would go a long way in providing that.

It's kind of frustrating to be honest.
yea. I can't disagree. Its very frustrating.
It's looking like Falcao was a luxury signing.
Something in the region of showing that United can still lure top talent.
But Falcao needs a decent run of games. I don't know what will be done to accommodate him since van Gaal says at the moment he's only fit to play 20 mins.
How is he going to be of any effect playing in garbage time?
he should get himself fit first.
There'll be a place for him.
A front 2 of rvp and falcao with wayne should ideal.

Gary Neville's prediction United's clash with Liverpool this weekend could be “the Dog and Duck versus the Red Lion” does not go down well with United manager
Manchester Unitedmanager Louis van Gaalhas told Gary Neville to "pay attention to his words" After being disgruntled by comments made by the United legend likening their fixture with Liverpool this weekend to that of a pub match.
Neville, speaking on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football show following United's 2-1 win at Southampton, said Sunday's showdown could be “the Dog and Duck versus the Red Lion” - that despite the fact United are now five matches unbeaten and now up to third in the table. “He can say everything because he is an ex-legend. But as an ex-legend ... or as a legend, you have to know what you are saying. You can interpret that [as you like]. It’s not difficult. He has to pay attention to his words," Van Gaal said when questioned on the Telegraph columnist's comments following the match.

The Dutchman, however, was in agreement with Neville that United had “got away with murder” at St Mary's while Southampton manager Ronald Koeman said that defeat was of their own doing rather than being beaten by the better team.
“It’s always difficult because you’re the better team and, again, you have to fight against a 1-2 down,” Koeman said.
“After that moment I think we didn’t play well. But that’s the difference. At this level detail makes the difference in football. The score is 1-2. You can talk long about who deserved to win, who played the football, who played the offensive football, which team did the pressing, but everything is s*** because we lost."
Van Gaal, meanwhile, praised the performance of Van Persie who struck twice to secure the points.

“He was one of the three players on the pitch of Manchester United who were good or maybe very good. He had a great influence on the result. Very positive,” said Van Gaal.
“Until now it was his best performance. I hope but I have to say I was very pleased with his performance and also his goals. His second was not so easy because the ball was coming towards his right foot and he connected with his left. A nice touch. Normally you have six, seven, eight players who are good. But today there were too many not good, I believe.”
Van Gaal also revealed that Paddy McNair was withdrawn in the first half as the defender "had no confidence".
"It’s very disappointing for me and for Paddy but I had to because as a manager I am responsible. It’s tough but it’s also in his best interests. I have made a lot of changes and all the boys can survive. It is only one match, one moment in a lifetime.”
Lol. See mending grin

Evans is shyte. He gets the ball, waits until he's in a tight situation and gives it to an approaching opponent which puts the defence in jeopardy. He's known for that but it's now too rampant.
Atleast Rojo can pass to save his life.
rojo gave the ball away just as many times as evans did, if not more.

The dude has come back after a long lay off and was asked to play in a 3 man defence.
He's the person that has least adapted to the 352 system.
Understandably so. This only his 2nd time.
The first was with a bunch of rookies.

Evans is a very solid defender.
People forget things too easilly.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by PietroRico(m): 8:30am On Dec 09, 2014
Fellaini is a horrible horrible DM.
That's. Why he was s useless last season.
He was horrible yesterday because he was the DM.

I see loads of people getting ready to jump on evans' head
Evans did ok giving his current situation and that of the team.
Rojo was all over the place yesterday, but everyone's quiet about it.
McNair too was bad.
But na evans own everybody see
New scapegoat I guess.

Our defenders are good and they'll overcome these small niggling injuries with time.
But I believe we need to add one rock to the back. No matter the age!
Even if its just one solid season he gives us, it'll be ok. That will be enough time for our defenders to sort themselves out, injury wise.
I don't think they all should be discarded.

RvP obviously doesn't want falcao anywhere near his spot grin
I dunno if its just me, but I think RvP does a million times better when falcao is on the bench.

MrLouisVanGaal:
Hello... I have listened to you but i will not be dropping van persie. He has shown a commitment to play and he is fit.. i shall use him. Falcao will play also. I have assured him of quality game time, only if he is fit and willing to prove himself match after match. i will start van persie and bring in falcao later. my selection is perfect for the tight schedule. If my players keep to my philosophy. pass the ball and take their chances, we shall come back with a win

You guys are taking this Moyes (vs Gaal) too far. What I remember people complained about is the double standard it terms of criticism. Particularly as Gaal spent over £150m and was still struggling without UCL and Capital1 cup.

The argument wasn't abut who was better. Gaal's game is far better even though one can still argue he had more quality to fall back on during injuries.
what yeye double standard?
Even when the results weren't coming, it was obvious that we had direction and it would only be a matter of time before results started to come. Only an idíot would have failed to see it.
Same could not be said for moyes.

Moyes messed up the transfer window himself.
His first on a long list of fatal mistakes.
Nobody prevented him from spending!

He ended up overpaying for a fellaini whom he still grossly misused as with virtually every other person in the team.

E no get as you wan bend am go, those comparisons were uncalled for.

There's been a lot of luck involved, and bar the Hull game, none their recent wins has been really convincing.

Remember there's currently only 7 points between 2nd and 10th at the moment. 2 or 3 bad games and they could be right back in Midtable.

They might yet come good and consolidate their place in the top 4, but I'm not convinced they can....yet
lol. Your idea of 'luck' is strange. Very strange.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by PietroRico(m): 8:25am On Dec 03, 2014
I like just how fluid this team is during games.
They switch formations with ease.

I was also impressed With our high pressing for large parts of the game. At some points the only way to get the ball out of danger was to hoof it to our miidfielders.
That also forced them to make some errors which we should have used.

These are 2 things that were seriously lacking inn the team last season

Suddenly nobody in the team is pants anymore. Ok, maybe fletcher.

Thank God for that timely injury that prevented fellaini from going to Napoli.

However, Before u go all adams oshiomole (when he was NLC president grin) on uniben try and look up the breakdown of uniben's acceptance fee and compare it properly with those of the other universities u aree talking about.

Acceptance fee is an aggregation of several fees.
