How time flies. I remember vividly just like yesterday how Oga Tenderlaw and Pjay guided us during our enlistment process. Here was a whole lot of fun back then.

The hope was that those that got in will keep the process going. As you rise on the rank, your responsibilities keep increasing. God is with us all.

It will be for only professional field like Medical Doctors, Engineers, Computer Science with Professional Certifications like CCNA, Programming and all.

Enlistment into DSSC 29 will be out soon. If not next week then from next year. start preparing yourself. Goodluck in advance guys.

NIGERIAN NAVY SPECIAL ENLISTMENT EXERCISE FOR DIRECT SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION COURSE 29.

The Nigerian Navy Special Enlistment Exercise for Direct Short Service Commission Course 29 is Scheduled to Commence from December 2023 - May 2024. The Chairman of this Commission informed that Online Registration is Free and will commence from 27th December 2023 to 7th February 2024. Accordingly, Advertisement would be placed in 3 National Newspapers (Sun, Daily Trust and Vanguard) on 18 December 2023.

Details concerning the Special Enlistment Exercise can be obtained from the NN website ww.joinnigeriannavy.com which will open on 27th December 2023.

We have officers with HND.. However if you can do your BSc from ND, it is better for other reasons

Training School for DSSC Officers want to be relocated from Onne. You guys will have to wait a while.

Courses like this, it is better u do a post graduate diploma in Education. It will qualify you to be in the education department.
Cos you won’t see these courses on Navy Advertisement.

Please, in a situation that someone was awarded both the local and oversea scholarship at the same time, what will the person do? Accept both? Or reject one? Or explaining to the scheme that you have one already so as not to complicate issues.

Computer will screen your application out because Agriculture wasn’t advertise.
Eyes test will be conducted, the Medicals can answer this best.

Nope.. Airforce DSSC Officers are currently training in NDA old site. They will pass out in December.
Army will continue where they have always be training theirs.
NN is not ready for DSSC yet. They have some space the want experience Special Duty Officers to fill like Instructors and others.
The next set of DSSC will be strictly specialist/professional in your chosen field.

General Advice to all.
Sort yourself and put yourself in a position that will make you the best. Check your foot and b sure you don’t have flat foot, check your urine especially the ladies and be sure there is no enof protein, be physically fit, if possible do ECG test too. Most importantly just practice past questions.

Unfortunately the Special Duty (SD) Commission took the space of DSSC at this year cos a gap need to be filled.
The service need qualified experienced instructors and only the SD can fill that space. The SD are the Ratings with more than 15 to 20years of experiences.

The rate of retirement is not same as enlistment. Averagely 30 officers retire yearly and 200 officers are enlisted years. From Regulars, DSSC and SD Commission

Officers are normal just that they are trying to correct some certain criteria. DSSCs are professionals and they want to keep it at that.

Good evening guys. with the way things are going. Will there be any NNDSSC? Since when I de 200 level i de prepare for DSSC, e reach now I no de hear anything bout it again. I sha never grad, but make I de put energy?

Keep the energy alive and get all the necessary certificates cos DSSC will be very competitive now. Get professional certificates in your field cos it will be an added advantage.
