Day 3 in Onne and i can authoritatively say the standard of receiving cadet is back to normal. No Bus this time around to convey bloody cadet to dere accommodation...
They started d drill from the gate, the standard was impressive i must say. Some Cadet are already crying that they dont want to do again... Hahahaha..

90 slots gone, Seaman, Education, Logistics, Medicals, PT, hydrography, Music will have to battle for d 20 slots remaining, I pray they take more than 110 cadets tho

Seaman Department which is also The Executive department comprises of many department Like ICT, Information, Music, Nautical Science, Hydrography, Physical Training Instructor, Human Resource and i think Education is also under Executive/Seaman department but not too sure... So u see Seaman Department hv the highest number of Slot..

For those of u thinking immediately DSSC24 pass out they will release the list u need to take a chill pill.
Just keep urself busy with other tins. If they like they will release the list now and ask u guys to resume March. If they like they will release the list March too.
The Exam and Interview was very fast last year cos the Present service chiefs were not expecting elongation of service. Medicals is alwaiz 2 weeks plus but this time around it was rushed.. The exams result is the fastest so far in d history of navy cos tins were suppose to change by December.
But now there is enof time to work and play around the list..
Even 27Ak are still waiting for list too since September/October..
Once solid news about the list is out u will know.
For now its 3 per State... Some Lucky state might get 4 while some 2...

In the advert u were told those with professional Certificate in ICT hv added advantage..
Surely those with Professional Certificate like Oracle, Cisco etc were given point advantage.

If u like join with PHD wen they said BSC.. U will start as a Sub Lt the way others are starting.... Only ur BSc will b recognize at that point..

Armed Forces Act is different from HTACOS...
Armed forces Act contain rules and regulations, offenses and punishment..(Laws u need to know)
HTACOS contain terms and conditional of service..

If u hv a professional Qualification like COREN, ORACLE, CISCO ETC. That should give u an edge over other but then its not automatic. This professional Qualification hv points..
Marks are awarded in various categories. Oral interview(Questions Answer), Rat Race, Exercise, Appt Exam, Composure, professional Qualification. Etc

Supplementary list is for the top shot and they know themself. If u arent among d top shot then concentrate on d main list

There will b another medicals in onne. If u didnt pass dat one u will b dismiss.. While u are in camp they will send some officers to ur university to confirm ur result and if its fake.. U are in trouble too

This extension is pursuant of the powers conferred on the President and Commander in chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by section 218 (1) and (2) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and section 09.06 of the Harmonised Terms and Conditions for Service for officers (2012) Revised.

Navy trying to make use of the school before resumption..

There is no appointed time for the results to come out. Yes they will b done marking the script by this week then they will go tru it for errors.
They might not release it due to DSSC24 still in camp.
They might release it if they feel they can conduct d interview sooner.
Dssc24 will pass out next year early February.

Some of u know u didnt meet the requirements and u still apply. Now ya name didnt appear and u wanna complain.

First and foremost u need to understand that to b in Education Department in the Navy u need Educational Certificate Like B.Edu or maybe u hv NCE in Addition to ya Bsc. DSSC officers are professional officers.
The only way u can make it pass wit just BSc is if u hv God and Strong Connection
