ExpertNLer:Well some1 from the tower said that to me. In as much as I don’t believe it. Only PTDF themselves knows when the list will come out. |
Everybody with is own prediction. Ok ooh. From a well connected source in PTDF Tower. The list is ready but won’t be out till 15 August as it is waiting final approval from oga at the top. He is coming back from 10th. |
EbubeDelight:There is no tribe. If his name was removed from the list due to medical, someone else from your state will be call up to replace you. They won’t call someone from that tribe he is thinking of. |
Ajoself:Let me correct you here. I am sure you know me from the Navy DSSC page. You are competing with only those from your state in the Navy DSSC process. So don’t bring sentiment into this. The Navy did Medicals for you before they finally picked you on the training list. The period between when the medical was done and when the final list came out is enough for anybody to develop any medical condition. Mind you some persons who are addicted to drugs cleared their system before the interview. Now when you report for training before the militarization phase commence, your vital signs and BP need to be intact, you know y? You will feel you can make it but I lost 2 of my Course-mate during training and they are from the core north. The discovery after the investigations led the training team to always conduct another Medicals before commencement of training. The BP and Kidney issues can develop anytime even if you are very healthy. |
donem:Amen bro. God bless us all and grant us Favour in all our endeavors |
Giftega:ATAS Certificate is to some particular research courses.. After admission and payment of deposit you also need CAS with stands for 'Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies'. The CAS is an electronic record that the University produces for the Home Office and it is required for your Student visa application. The University will produce a CAS for you and email you your CAS number and CAS statement, listing the information that has been sent to the UK Visas and Immigration Department. You will need this information to make your Student visa application. Your CAS statement lists: your CAS number the start and end date of your course our Sponsor Licence Number our Sponsor Licence Address (our registered address) the address of your primary site of study The qualifications we have used to assess your eligibility for a place on your course confirmation that your course represents academic progress if you have already studied in the UK confirmation of your English language ability the fees for your course the fees you have already paid your name as it appears on your passport your passport number your scholarship information (if applicable) |
samcn:say no more. Chevening application will start next month. |
mhosqo:See adult now. You need to take a chill pill. Some questions are not really necessary here. Just use google. |
CountryTireMan:Very well |
Liebermann:I know a scholar with partial scholarship currently in UK. He wrote to PTDF and he got it. |
A colleague from a scholarship group was previously rejected cos if limited space. Another colleague in that same group won same scholarship but rejected her own scholarship from same body. A review and an upgraded was done, and this guys was given the scholarship. The Lady won Commonwealth’s shared Scholarship. There are lot of opportunities apart from PTDF.
|
Liebermann:There is actually in logic in it. For instance, the university i got admission to, I got partial scholarship from them too. If I tell PTDF to make theirs partial, it is a win:win for all party. |
Don’t concentrate on US and Canada alone, Italy, Sweden, Australia and South Korea can offer you Bsc to Phd position with bloody stipend to keep you motivate. The japa race is for the strong. |
Forensic analysis is the use of scientific processes and methods in criminal investigation and refers to the collecting, identifying, preserving and examining of scientific evidence during an investigation. |
TraizC:Which list again. Ok according to them, check the position you name fall on the list. You must do better Dan the people above you on the list. Ok bye. |

Minnieny:U do you keep arguing and you are saying you don’t want to argue? If they are picking 4/5 in a state, definitely they won’t pick 2 persons from same LG. It is an obvious fact already now. How can you pick 2 person from 1 LG out of 5 persons selected in a State having 23 LG? If you are not seeing yourself as the best in your LG, then you are out of this race already. Also, not all LG will have representative. |
I shall know some1 with 5 Distinctions, 2nd Class Upper with 4.46, now a Lecturer in a University, About 4 Publications and yet PTDF didn’t pick him. |
KoolK:Everything they are doing at the moment can be done online before inviting people for interview. They should screen and grade online then send invite for interview. |
KoolK:Concentrate on this: In my opinion, this is a decision that should be deliberated upon by the PTDF board, while keeping in mind that academic excellence is of great benefit, the assessment has to encompass character, integrity and learning, and most importantly Leadership as academics alone cannot be the only criteria to be measured. However, PTDF should work towards an online grading and screening of applicants before the invitations for interview are sent. All the documents checked and graded at the interview venue could have been graded online, ranging from; O’Level, First Degree, Professional Membership, Publication and SOP. Thereby allowing for efficient use of time and also providing equal opportunity for applicants to know how they were graded. Thereafter, if the cut-off grade is set at 80%, only those who have pulled 80% and above would be invited for aptitude test and thereafter, interview. This will lead to proper time management, objectivity of assessment procedure and overall efficiency of the test processes. |
tolaade1960:Some are aligned with the opinion of using only CGPA, while others vehemently supports the conduct of aptitude test in addition to CGPA in order to screen out candidates before interview. In addition, an aptitude test will help align presented paper qualification with actual on-the-ground performance, thereby ascertaining the credibility of the applicants. In my opinion, this is a decision that should be deliberated upon by the PTDF board, while keeping in mind that academic excellence is of great benefit, the assessment has to encompass character, integrity and learning, and most importantly Leadership as academics alone cannot be the only criteria to be measured. omokudu:We’re you asked for publications and professional bodies? |
1b8m:I heard it was 8000 for interview. |
enesi009:It has been stated here already. |
Tobbey:This 2022. 14years ago Gmats? Obsolete. |
Aaronzy:This information is restricted. But it is between 300k - 450k |
My Take on the PTDF Interview: 8,000 persons were shortlisted for interview. The interviews are still on going till June 10. Many people are already saying the interview is formality and it boils down to the following reasons. Some where interview for 5mins, some 10mins and some 15mins. (Both Virtually and physically). Some people were asked for some documents, why some where not asked for. Like publications. Those that did virtually most of them were not asked for any documents. PTDF can reduce this numbers by doing exactly what they are doing now before they invite people for interview. Since we all submitted same documents during application process, why not award marks base on the documents submitted and those with high grade or marks should be invited for the interview to reduce the numbers? Then during the interview, verify the documents and asked questions on the SOPs. What they are doing at the moment are things they should have done before inviting people for interview. My humble opinion. If we have people working in PTDF or pls the PTDF Scholars take this home and suggest this to them. |
Goodlucknigeria:Just Contributing my own quota. Thanks man. God bless you. |
hosey:Ouch. My bad. Now I am feeling bad. But it is all fine. We will keep praying for Divine Favour from God. Thanks man. |
Thanks to everyone who encouraged me to go for the interview. I flew in to Abuja this morning from Lagos with 0630am flight and I was at the venue by 0930. My interview was scheduled for 1030am but we were all allowed to sit orderly in the auditorium and they were attending to us in the order you arrived. I stepped out to visit a friend around knowing fully well I will use his Colour printer to print some document and I was back by 1050am. My interview started 11:10am and my questions were: What is your name, Which state, local govt? They then asked me to submit my Documents in this order, First Degree, NYSC and O Level. For the O Level, I gave them my NECO and the guy spotted my WAEC and asked for it. I explained to them that there was D7 in the WAEC that was why I am not using it. And he said thank God I brought it cos I can combine the results. They picked all the distinction on my WAEC and picked the other high grade on the NECO. Afterwards, I was asked me to summarize my Statements of Purpose in two(2) minutes. One of the interviewer underline a statement on my statement of purpose where I was talking about my long term goals of developing the Nigerian Navy Cyber Security department. I shall told him the Nigerian Navy provide security to the oil platforms and all. I was then asked for my professional bodies certificate, I gave them 4. Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN), Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Cyber Security Expert Association of Nigeria (CSEAN) and National Institute of Management (NIM). They asked why I choose the particular University on my application. Lastly, I was asked the nature of my job in the Navy. I wasn’t asked of any publication but I have one with me and I also have some of my awards but I wasn’t asked. They just told me best of luck and I told them thank you and left. My Opinion: Seeing the multitude of people that came for the interview and knowing they are picking just 4 per state then you need prayers and God‘s Grace to pull this one through. You can just wear Kaftan or sew up and down in Abuja center, they didn’t even comment on the dressing. |
ultimatelaron:I am eagerly waiting for your interview. CCNA, OCA, OCP are professional certifications but you have to be under a professional body which are CPN (Computers Professional of Nigeria) NCS (Nigeria Computer Society) COREN, ICAN etc. |
Lee84:I missed the window period for changing of location. |
